NOOOOOO! I'm so sad that this placed closed down. I sorta knew that it moving uptown might cause problems because it's so expensive! Needless to say, this place was great!!!! Good drinks, delicious food! I met the owner and she was great. If they ever open back up, I'll be the first in line! The CHICKEN WINGS are the best CHICKEN WINGS I've had in the Bay Area. So good, so tender and the taste was incredible. I tasted a hint of brown sugar?? ayooooo

Let me tell you the food was wisely and on point!! Shout out to Fay and Miracle who held it down! Staff was great bar tender made a great drink! The kitchen was making it happen! So glad I got the recommendation would definitely come back again!!

Nice new venue worthy of your attention. Brown Sugar Kitchen has dark walls and ceilings, with big windows and well controlled lights creating a very comfortable vibe. The music was noticeable, enjoyable but well modulated for easy conversations. The menu is southern soup to nuts with everything ordered for the table to be enjoyed by everyone.
