“Hands down best Gyro I’ve had since visiting Denmark. The seasoned fries paired with their ranch and smokey barbecue sauces were divine. The atmosphere is very friendly and the dine-in aesthetic was quaint. HIGHLY recommend OakTown Kabobs with my boy Farzad.“

“I bought the oyster combo with DoorDash and I absolutely loved the deep fried oysters. The fried breading was very tasty and the oysters tasted like they were cooked just right.

I chose potato salad for the side, I liked it, however, I do not know if they make it fresh.

The combo also comes with a Shasta brand soda, but cola and lemon lime are the only offered flavors.

I definitely want to order from here again.“

“Love it second time coming. I had the 7 seas soup it was delightful. Then I tried the steak nachos. The steak was flavorful perfect seasoning and soft. Unfortunately this is my last week in the area. I definitely recommend this spot. Next tome I come to Cali I’ll definitely come by :)“

“We stopped in got some Fish & Chips (cat fish) and Onion rings and soda.As a very picky Aussie who loves good Fish & Chips most stores here in the US I’d score at a 6/10 but this little hole in the wall shop it’s easy an 8/10 the chips where good size the fish was average size for all the US stores I’ve tried but this little store the batter was crispy and the fish cooked perfectly the onion rings where good the Chips where very good but I feel a few extra minutes in the oil would have made them a perfect Crispy outer and hot and fluffy“

But today the cooks in the back was not the regulars nd the chicken wasnt crispy like they wasnt coated properly and they are small the bread was hard. “There food is delicious. Called my order in 25 min early and It just took five min to wrap and give me enough sauce to eat it with. I had snapper and catfish combo it was Smackin. Great food does take time. I like to get my food in 10-15 min but at least it's fresh. The restaurant didn't have many people dining in, they were stopping in to order and coming back to pick it up though. There deserts were amazing looking and the workers at Jjs were really nice and called me sweetheart.“

“I always enjoy their food when I visit here!! Especially the signature tartar sauce, yummy!! If you like your fish fried hard like me request it that way when order is placed.

“They use a touch-screen order system, you don't have to wait for help. The foods was great and the portions were just right. The wait may be longer than some might like but that just means you haven't had to cook much, it takes time. You could probably eat there but it would be kind of tight. I didn't talk to the staff a lot but they seemed friendly enough.“

The chowder is good, but you can find better ones at other restaurants in Pier 39.
The view is nice, though you should expect a few birds to join you while you eat, the staff do their best to chase them away whenever they get inside the restaurant.“
