“What an incredible treat to experience--AND it's situated conveniently in a residential area for accessibility!

The churros are delicious in their own or with a variety of fillings. My favorite is the caramelo (caramel) filling that's made with goat milk. (It's like dulce de leche but warrrrrm.)

The people who run it are also the owners, which means they're invested in creating a friendly, community atmosphere and gladly cater to special requests.

Be prepared to pay either cash, use Zelle or get cash back from the nearby Mexican grocer. There's no option for card payments!“

“Steak fries had real potatoes which were soft and crispy with fresh toppings like tomatoes, onions, and diced peppers. Good amount of cheese and cream with fresh sliced avocado. Great steak. The salsas and ketchup definitely enhanced the dish.“

I parked inside and although I was coming for Mama Cuca, the charm of the staff selling carnitas really called me!Totally Mexico style they offered a free sample and of course I ended up buying a pound of carnitas to take home ?The carnitas are cooked to perfection, tender, tasty, accompanied by fresh tortillas hand made to order. The salsas are great but the real game is in the meat.They told me the nieves truck is the same business, that’s why I am posting here.The lady making tortillas told me they make their own syrups with fresh fruit for the raspados, next time I will come for snacks from that truck.As always, make sure to tip your servers and cooks!! “Excellent breakfast burrito! I checked Google for breakfast burritos near my hotel & this one had great reviews. Drove over & my burrito was made fresh. Chorizo, eggs, potatoes, cheese, salsa. Perfect proportions. Nice, big burrito. I was thoroughly pleased- I even wrapped up half of it and brought it cross country to Atlanta with me and finished the next morning!“

“Felt like I was back in the motherland (Mexico). The dark, sketchy street just adds to the atmosphere. This place takes zelle if you don't have cash. The tacos are 3 bucks a pop, and they fill them fat. Best dang taco I've had in a while.“

“Food here is so good and a decent price for plates (I think it was $15 for a 1 meat plate and $20 for 2 meats ). Parked right outside Planet Fitness so a perfect post gym meal. The ribs are very juicy and the BBQ sauce he makes is delicious! The baked beans always hit along with the potato salad. Only complaint is that the bread sometimes gets soggy from the items in the box but that can easily be fixed. Definitely one of my favorite quick BBQ spots and I highly recommend giving him a try!“

“Salsa on the side was wack. Burrito was dank. They threw in green onions and those delighted my tongue. The picked jalapeños tickles my jalapeños. And lastly, the one singular of radish cooled my palate. Enjoy a delicious burrito.
There was a truck nearby that was blasting music from the truck nearby. This reduced the atmosphere score. I prefer mariachi or something similar to that but the music was just too loud and I couldn’t hear anything else so I was like a little bit annoyed.

“Husband and I come here on a regular basis since they set up here in Hayward. We can smell the delicious food before we arrive. The staff is always friendly and attentive to our order. There have been some upgrades to their set-up but it’s still an outside place. Just be mindful of the weather and parking and you will enjoy a great meal.“
