Unlike the previous reviewer, I felt perfectly safe while coming here. I parked inside and although I was coming for Mama Cuca, the charm of the staff selling carnitas really called me!Totally Mexico style they offered a free sample and of course I ended up buying a pound of carnitas to take home ?The carnitas are cooked to perfection, tender, tasty, accompanied by fresh tortillas hand made to order. I really do feel like I'm risking my life coming here. Just before this, someone ran a light and almost hit me, but that's just oakland. 90th Street was known for sideshows and other unorthodox activities. But shoot, that's not stopping me from getting my 6 dollar esquite. I was here when they first opened, and I still come by to show my support. I'm glad they have more small business in the parking lot. There's strenght in numbers.
