Big fan of the Jaymee Sirewich every time. This Ike's is very small and located in uptown Oakland next to a few other come-and-go restaurants and office buildings. The menu at Ike's is VERY large and diverse with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options as well. If you are in the mood for a sandwich, you will most likely find something here you'd want. I'm kind of hard convinced this is probably the best and most accessible sandwich shop and chain in the world. The reason I say that is because not only are the sandwiches delicious, hot, and fresh, but also they actually open pass 5PM. I don't know if you know this reader, but every deli place in the world closes as soon as I get off of work (this is hyperbole), but not this place, not Ike's. I recently went into the San Leandro location and was greeted by a young man named Shane. He recommend a few great choices on the menu and we ordered. let me tell you that was the best sandwhich I have ever had in my LIFE! thank you Shane and Ike's I'll be BACK FOR SURE
