I recently try the eel rice from Marunouchi with a friend's recommendation despite of the low rating of the restaurant and I must say, it was a pleasant surprise! The eel itself was cooked to perfection, its tenderness and flavors shining through with each bite. The accompanying rice was fluffy and delicately seasoned, providing a perfect balance to the rich eel. I've been ordering at Marunouchi for the last few months and have been incredibly pleased. The fish cuts are premium and the bang for your buck is great. I ordered the tuna sashimi and it seemed to be the Toro cut (the bacon of the fish) which usually costs 3x the normal tuna price.For a quick snack I love the Ikura and side of rice. Can't beat caviar. I highly recommend it!
