I am from the Northside of Fort Worth, known for being little Mexico back home. Had been craving authentic Mexican food in Oakland. This hit the spot. The food was as if my Abuela made it. I had the combination #1. The Chile Relleno was perfectly made. The egg batter covered it entirely and absorbed the tomato salsa. The cheese was runny and delicious.
From the music to the ambience, the drinks to the food, this restaurant is one of the best! I normally do tacos and Taco salads, and the occasional super Carne Asada burrito, but the traditional plates at this restaurant are excellent. I will definitely be back and I’m telling everybody I know.

Otaez is a Mexican restaurant known for its delicious family-style meals and bar. The restaurant is kid-friendly with dishes for children and high chairs, and wheelchair accessible on the ground floor with no doorway obstacles. Parking is available in the back.
