2nd review: (See the first below) I’ve been back two more times since my first review. My husband likes the food a lot and chooses Ruth’s Buka when he’s craving a taste of home. Both times I’ve went inside and it’s been earlier in the day right after they open between 12pm-1pm. Food is fresh, hot and you are greeted by a young woman with an infectious smile. The food is awesome! I've never had Nigerian Ghana food before and it was awesome. The flavors oh my gosh where do I start. They're jollof rice on point colorful spicy I could eat that by itself.We got the jollof rice with vegetables and plantains which comes with your choice of protein for us it was chicken and beef.The vegetables is like fresh collard semi-cooked greens with spice. A friend of mine recommended Ruth's Buka to try West African food. They offer a wide variety of food buffet style like Tilapia, Red sniper fish, Escargot, Goat meat, Chicken, Beans, chitterlings, jollof rice.... I tried the mix meat and they were all nice and tender, perfectly seasoned and super delicious! I'll definitely go back to try more variety.
