“I recently enjoyed a catered lunch from this local place. Never eaten East African cuisine before and definitely not familiar with it,I was skeptical at first..Once the lids came off and I got a whiff of that aroma, oh my goodness!
One of *THEE* best lunches I've had too date.Nothing too spicy , hearty and delicious..Absolutely perfect on a cold day or night. Warm and filling and made with love & perfection.Thankyou.“

“I was there 7/19, I was beyond impressed with how the Egusi soup is beyond amazing with the use of olive oil with minimal palm oil.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Egusi Soup and fufu. The jollof rice was amazing also. I will be back before leaving the area. VERY GOOD SERVICE, FOOD, ATMOSPHERE!!!!“

“I went there on Saturday 19th Oct. The Jollof Rice and Plantains were good, but The meat that was Given for my Money was Horrible. The Goat And Beef was Hard and The Goat had that Goat Scent. Plus your Portion of Meat was not Desirable. I had to go home and make Stew Chicken to Eat with the Rice and Plantains.“

“I got this delivered via Caviar so can’t speak to atmosphere (I think it’s a ghost kitchen maybe?) but the order was fast as heck and legit one of the best meals I’ve eaten in recent memory.A ton of food, generous portions, and just mind blowingly tasty. I got the pork bowl and every element was perfect. The meat was tender and so flavorful. Every combination of elements in the bowl creates a perfect bite.I can be kind of picky about food and this was a revelation, especially on a rainy winter night.I also ordered the bacon Brussels sprouts but I’m so full from the bowl I’ll save those for tomorrow. The world’s loudest YUM!!!!!“

“I went there mid afternoon on a Thursday. I was the only one in the dining room but I was received with smiles and great service. I ordered suya beef, a side of jollof rice and a moi moi, all of which are familiar to me.
The suya was delicious and spicy, just the right combination of dry and tender. The jollof was very flavourful, truly excellent. It didn’t have the scorched flavour that some people might prefer in a party jollof but for me this was great.
The moi moi was a bit dry and it has both an egg and some fish in it. Not my favourite but you can’t win them all.
Over all I felt this was very good and will happily return. I enjoyed the Afro beats music and the friendly staff.“

“If you’re looking for authentic Ethiopian food, Cafe Eritrea D’Afrique is one of the best spots in the entire Bay Area. The food is consistently delicious, the injera is fresh, and the flavors are as authentic as they come.“
