“Elissa puts so much thought and dedication into her delicious creations. You won't find Costco muffins repackaged in cellophane at this cafe - you WILL find her handmade recreations of traditional French pastries, fun fantasy-themed original creations, alongside custom flavored and hand-painted chocolates. Highly recommend, delicious. I only wish we lived closer and could visit more often (but that's why my wife has a monthly chocolate subscription to Elissa's companion business, 'Chocolates by E')“

“Great place. Great staff, adorable building, good food. If you don’t like the smell of smoke, though, make sure that you’re not going too far into the evening. They have a fire pit going out in front of the restaurant and keep the doors open so the whole restaurant filled with smoke last night.“

“My girlfriend and I LOVE this place! Discovered it by accident two years ago when I moved to Carlsbad… I live an hour and a half north now but still a mandatory stop for us anytime we are in the area! Everyone working there is so friendly and you can’t beat the service!“

“Great casual spot for an excellent sandwich and an excellent Belgian beer! It's a small, cozy place that has a good layout and balance between decor, TVs, seating, and open space. Perfect option for a laid back lunch or no-fuss happy hour. The guys behind the bar are welcoming, and the sandwich-meister is top notch!“

“Campus Café is a fantastic food stop for breakfast or lunch. Today I did their Korean barbecue that was their special for Thursday. So yummy. Has just the right amount of fight and balanced out nicely with the salad. You won’t be disappointed coming here.“
“This place is great. I have been coming here for lunch for five years. Family owned. Jimmy and his wife take great care of you. I love the sandwiches, so delicious. Too many great ones to list out. Very fresh ingredients, just like you made it at home. Great hole-in-the wall spot in Carlsbad.

“Between the employees genuinely being the best part because of their kindness, the food being absolutely delicious (try the californian and some fries), and it being served to you in 5 minutes this place cannot be beat! It's been awesome to pop over during a work day, be greeted with a smiling face, and have a killer lunch. Thankful for Off The Vine!“

“I come here almost every single day and the staff are wonderful they are the nicest people I know in this area and make every drink I ask for. The boba is fresh and amazing which goes perfect with all of there drinks they also have sandwiches which are fresh an awesome it’s the best boba place I’ve probably ever been to. Don’t listen to any bad reviews this place is amazing and I love it“

“Love this place! My son is a lifeguard down at the beach. He went straight from camping to work and didn't have lunch. I ordered him a sandwich and they took the time to deliver to the lifeguard tower. That is service! I appreciate them saving mom a trip on a busy beach day. Excellent employees and sandwiches!“
