High Pie Reviews
Love the iconic location which was made famous by the movie Top Gun!
The house is really cool. Though ordering was confusing. I made clear what I wanted, but the order taker and the prepped did different things.
It was still a cute place.
We had cherry pies today that were excellent and cherry fizz which was great. We will definitely come back many times. The house is so classic. All well worth the drive from UTC/PB. We will be back!!

High Pie is a charming restaurant located in a historic Victorian house that dates back to 1887. The house has been renovated and now serves as a unique dining spot. The exterior features a porch with wicker chairs, offering a picturesque view of the Pacific Ocean. Inside, the restaurant is filled with Top Gun memorabilia, making it a must-visit for movie fans. The menu features a variety of pies, including seasonal flavors, as well as ice cream and drinks. The pies are known for being flavorful and full of fruit filling, with the hand pies being especially popular. Customers can enjoy them warm, dusted with powdered sugar, and in various flavors like apple and cherry, which are considered delicious and just the right size for a satisfying treat. The fruity drinks are also well-liked. Many visitors come for the nostalgia and the movie memorabilia, but stay for the desserts, which are often described as delicious and a fun experience. While some have noted that the staff can be less welcoming and that there may be limited options like only Cherry pie available on certain evenings, the overall experience remains enjoyable. The house's cinematic charm, cozy decor, and reasonably priced treats make High Pie a popular spot to visit while in Oceanside. Despite occasional challenges like oven malfunctions or smaller pies, the charming setting and tasty desserts continue to draw customers seeking a nostalgic and tasty experience.
