“This place is lovely, especially during covid. They had a wonderful outdoor patio for us to enjoy and watch the shopping center from. Great value, a tasting flight of 3 wines was only $14!! The snacks are really high quality too. Fun way to spend an afternoon!“

“Christy Hill is our favorite restaurant in Tahoe City, and we make a point of coming (sometimes more than once) when we are here. Location is great, with a beautiful lake view - inside or outside, the ambience is wonderful. Service is great - while we only come several times a year, the team (including the owner Alex) makes a point of remembering us and saying hello. Food - the menu changes seasonally, and we've always had wonderful food. I am pescatarian, and there are always several choices (including fully vegetarian or vegan options). This past visit, my husband had the steak, my son enjoyed the venison, and I had a lovely halibut dish - all very creatively prepared and flavorful. One note - they serve beer and wine, no hard alcohol. The wine list is very good, and wines are reasonably priced for a restaurant. Highly recommend! During busy times, be sure to make a reservation well in advance!“

“O.K., Coming to West Shore for last 20+ years. GF has been coming to West Shore since family cabin built in McKinney Creek in 1960. This place started off a little rocky a few years back but had definitely improved like a fine wine. I am a Carb boy and LOVE any variation of their Pizza's. GF non-Carb girl but still devours their pizza. Only suggestion (which is partially our fault) is to order extra Dates on their Date Pizza. Also, the Pickle salad could use some work (however, they refunded for that). Best deal on the West Shore and Tahoe City when it comes to price and quality. We usually go to Reno for dinner because of their quality choices, but the Dog and Bear holds up against the best that Reno has to offer. Service is 5 Star!!! FYI, I am a dog lover...Especially partial to Labs.“

“Enjoyed a delicious dinner here with my boyfriend! The service was fantastic, the wine and food were delicious and we hope to return! I had tomato soup and grilled cheese, we both enjoyed wine tasting flights and my bf had a wagyu burger! All very delicious! Many vegetarian options as well :)

Menu had lots to offer and the food was delicious. Unlike some other restaurants at the resort, portions were generous. And Tipsy Tuesday offers 2 for 1 wine by the glass with generous pours. “Best patio in Lake Tahoe! It helps that the drinks and food are always fantastic. But also the service, we had a couple of little ones with us that ended up spilling a glass of water early in the meal. A complete accident but the manager reacted with urgency to get us dried off, a new glass of water and replaced the kids activity book before any tears were shed. Overall a great visit that we ended up going twice during our trip.“
