My husband and I came here for their Valentine's Day happy hour menu. We first ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir from Germany, which our server recommended. It was perfect! Then, we proceeded to order several of the small plates because we wanted to try everything. Let me tell you, every single plate we tried not only looked appealing but tasted amazing! Our favorites were the mushroom tarte, butternut squash soup, and the lobster roll. The mushroom tarte had a flaky, thin crust and was paired with arugula. The soup was served warm and creamy. The lobster roll had huge chunks of meat and served with a coleslaw. We will definitely be back! The service was good, even with the busy holiday crowd and we truly enjoyed our food and wine. “It has always been a great experience dining at Whispering Vine on 4th Street. My favorite go-to on the menu are: Ahi Poke, Truffle Salt Tater Tots and Shaved Brussels Salad. Last week we had a party of six and all shared the chocolate mousse for dessert, a must if you like chocolate and dessert! We have always encountered helpful and friendly service. “I've never been to Naples or even New York but I've worked for old New York Italian pizzaiolos and have been making pizzas for decades now. This is the best pizza I have ever had. The crust is perfect in every way, it's the perfect thickness, perfect chew and the flavor is absolutely the best I've ever tasted. I don't know if it's the flour or the water or the conditioning it goes through or all three, it's just simply the best ever. The sauce is simple - lightly seasoned tomato sauce as you would expect, not overdone in any way. The cheese is real mozz, the best you can hope for. Blown away by the simple perfection of Cosmos pizza! (The Negroni on tap was wonderfull too!)“
“Really great food and wine! Super romantic vibes and a great way to enjoy live entertainment! We had the avocado baguette, mixed nuts, loaded dippers and arepa. The baguette was very good and fresh. The mixed nuts are a great options if just wanting drinks and something light. I really enjoyed the arepa but wish it came as more than 1. The loaded dippers were okay. Not my favorite. Overall, i think foodwise its a little overpriced and small portions. I understand the single use recyclable/compostable dishware but feels like it brings down the higher end vibe they are going for with the menu and decor. Will definitely be back but probably will be more just for drinks and light snack.“
“What a wonderful first experience at Zephyr Wine. I joined some friends for the Ukulele live music afternoon, which was wonderful. The wine/bubbles list was fantastic and they had a great tapas menu too. They have some flight options. They also offer non-alcoholic beverages, which I thought was really cool. I started with the Lunar Estates Pinot Noir and loved it. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. They have a fabulous sommelier on site. This place is truly going to continue to become more popular. Arrive early on live music days to get a seat. It's very open with options of tables, couches, etc. They have a cute patio with some nice seating and the view is gorgeous. Definitely check this one out...I will definitely be back many more times.“

“I don't believe it. I thought I wrote my review for Mo's By the River. Today, I learned that I didn't. In any case, Mo's is a cute wine bar located in the middle of surburban Reno close to the Truckee River Walk. I was unable to check out their wine list but what we had (a couple glass of domestic red) was actually pretty good and priced right. Just admiring their set up, I made up my mind if the opportunity presents itself, I will hold an event at Mo's the next time I'm in the Reno area Thank You Mo's for a casual fun time... And we were in walking distance to our Air BnB and the Truckee River Walk..... so it only made sense to stop in at Mo's for a thirst quencher.“

We ordered Caesar salad (love the tiny cheese croutons!) and a house salad (loaded with artichoke hearts). For the main course, we had two equally amazing dishes - Veal Scaloppini (so tender and served with homemade fettuccine noodles - delicious!) and lobster risotto. They had great patio seating with the afternoon sun casting wonderful shade on the East side of the building. “I have ran out of amazing things to say about this place. Absolutely everything is so delightful and charming. I have tried many things in their menu and have yet to be unsatisfied. My favorite dish is the Turkish Eggs for my brunch visits and the Tomatoes Feta salad for lunch, the falafels are to die for and you will never have potatoes like this in your life, my god!!
