“Visiting from Hawaii we seek memorable dining experiences and I'm happy to report that this was certainly an excellent one that we will be remembering for a long time. We went at 7:30 on a Friday night and found a parking spot on a nearby street. A short walk found us at this unique spot and we were seated quickly as we had called and made a reservation. Our table gave us a view of the chefs at work as well as the bar and we enjoyed watching the staff at work. "It's like a well oiled machine," we told our attentive server Claudia. She laughed and we found out that she had been there three years and the staff knew each other quite well. Everyone made sure we were well taken care of. We started off with heavenly french onion soup and an arugula salad that was delightful. My wife had the scallops and she was amazed at the subtle flavors. "These are the best scallops ever," she exclaimed, and another staffer shared the secret of the preparation. I won't betray their secret, but suggest you find out yourself. I had the lamb shank and it was exactly what I was hoping to find-- flavorful, tender, and paired with a nice Bordeaux, delicious green beans and mashed potato that brought a smile to my face. We were too full for desert, sadly.
We'll take home this wonderful experience to share with our island friends, and are looking forward to coming back someday. We wanted to whisk Claudia and her friends to Kona to start a restaurant there. One can dream! Mahalo.“

“So much fun and the drinks are amazing! I recommend the espresso martini and the mint cookie drink with an extra shot!“

“This place was recommended to us from another UNR parent. We tried it after moving our daughter into her dorm, and it was soooo good! We got smoked salmon and a three cheese platter. The wine and food was declious. We wanted to try everything but got full pretty quickly. We want to go back to just have some wine and relax! The owner was there and was touching tables, he is very friendly, and everyone there was giving excellent service.“

“We had my daughter's bridal shower here. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was really good. They took really good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed.

“Great menu, wine list and vibe. Stuck at the airport for hours on end and this place saved us! Met new friends, drank a great Sauvignon Blanc, had buratta and happily killed time. A nice respite after 4 days of a fabulous real estate concurrence meeting dozens of Sotheby’s agents across the country, talking out of state clients, 1031 exchange and referrals. And they let you take the bottle of wine when you leave ?“

This place is a hidden gem just a short walk from our house, and we couldn’t be happier to have it in the neighborhood!!! Finally a pizza spot that actually has it all!! The moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy, authentic Italian atmosphere. The pizza? Simply the best we've had in Nevada! From the perfect crispy crust to the rich, savory sauce and fresh toppings, every bite felt like a trip to Italy.

We tried the Summer pie It was a white pie that had zucchini , ricotta , speck and a hint of lemon juice. The balance of flavors was spot on, and you can tell they use top-notch ingredients. Even the drinks and appetizers were fantastic; we paired our meal with a delightful glass of white wine that was on tap.

- I didn't mind bussing my own table after enjoying every last bite. There should be some kind of visible signage to bus your own table.
- We liked the communal tables where you can sit on a bench and interact with different people. Great way to spike a conversation.
- Triple AAA The ambience - atmosphere and architecture was genuinely beautiful.

“Outstanding all around ! From the wine & beer selection to the mouth watering dinner fare & professional wait staff. Even though it wasn't on the menu, they made me the most unique, spectacularly dazzling, taste bud popping Bloody Mary. Instead of a tomato juice based mixer, I believe they used a freshly pureed tomato. The drink was light pink & exceptionally spiced! We'll be going back again & again. Thanks for the experience.“

“My neighborhood coffee spot. ALWAYS good conversation going on inside amongst the customers and friendly hosts & baristas. Their welcoming atmosphere attracts events and groups. They also have tables outside for sunny days. The coffee is delicious...Everytime.“

“Perhaps the biggest selection of beer on tap in Reno. Look for the exceptional blueberry and vanilla beers! They don’t have food but they make up for it in selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. “Went in yesterday with a group of girlfriends to do the fairy painting, this was my third time at Picasso and Wine! It all started off very smooth, was having fun doing the painting, up until it was time to trace with transfer paper.. it was not working for me, I was unsure of why it transferred perfectly for everyone else and I was struggling. Instructor kept moving at a fast pace. Tried to just trace the image from the paper provided, the assistant walking around finally helped, but by that point everyone was already ahead of the step I was at and I just decided to do whatever I could. The instructor then made a comment towards me saying that “the help is there to help but they’re not going to come up behind you and do your painting if you can’t do it” . I felt bummed out about it! But I’m glad my other friends had fun. I hope to be back on the 27th when they do the same painting to try again and this time vocalize when I can’t get it done. But 5 stars nonetheless, maybe I shouldn’t book complicated tickets for art when I can’t wait ?“

“The service could have been better since I got the happy hour ? seats ?. I think the boa bun being fried crispy is what took so long. The food ? here is great. ? I really want to try the calamari next time. I got the Asian ribs, boa bun , & prime rib sliders. ?. All was very yummy. I also got a virgin drink ? that was very tasty. I would recommend reserving a table ahead of time to avoid the wait.“

“Midtown Spirits Wine & Bites is THE BEST I have ever been to. My friend is a friend of the owners, so since we were leaving Lake Tahoe to go to the airport we stopped by to check it out!!! This is the only place I've ever been able to order a charcuterie board. I totally loved it. We had so many different and very pleasing bites, perfect for cocktails and bourbon and whiskey and cocktails. They had Karin Denise performing, she and I have not seen one another in many years. I met the owners Anthony and Amanda, they acknowledged everyone that came in. Loved the decor. I wish I could have stayed until Sunday, when they have live Jazz. I will be returning soon.“

We chose Ruth's Chris because of the many good reviews. Our server, David, was phenomenal. They were pretty busy and he somehow managed to never make us feel the business In his work ethic. Our steaks were perfect and our cups were never empty! Would 100% come back across state lines for that spinach and service!“

“This IS the best night life place in Reno. Amazing bar, the best people and phenomenal music. We went Thursday and they had live jazz music. It was great! The people working there and the owner who was actually serving and having fun with us and other guests was like just what you want, that welcoming place where everyone knows your name. “We had a large group of 12. Some of the food was great, some ok, but on dish was returned - the pork chop. It was over cooked and the sauce was burnt. It was returned and another dish was not ordered. We waited almost 2 hours for our main corse. Seated at 7, dove at 10. When we got the bill, they charged us for the pork chop. We asked for it to be taken off the bill and the owner said no. I and many of the 12 would never patronize this restaurant again. For the price of one meal, she just lost multiple customers. Own up when the cooking is not up to par. In addition, we could not dive the tab up with multiple credit cards.“

“Fantastic!!!!!! Henry the bartender/waiter/host is a wizard behind the bar. Vodka,Bourbon, Gin he makes it all taste wonderful. Speaking of taste, the food was out of this world. We had the ahí poke nachos, bruschetta and short rib sliders. All amazing. We could spend all afternoon here sipping our cocktails and enjoying the company. “This place is great....Rattlesnake was fun and our meals on point. There was four of us and everything was very good. We had appetizers , salad and entrees. I had the scallops with risotto (I loved) Hubby had the surf and turf which he said he loved. His steak was cooked perfect medium rare. The cocktails were done well. Support local restaurants not many in Reno. We love Rattlesnake Bistro WE WILL BE BACK SOON!!“
