“As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by the entire family which was so nice and they explained how they make everything from scratch and you can definitely tell by the flavor. So glad to have this spot in my neighborhood and will be coming back again. Check it out!“
“I’ve been enjoying Walden’s for a few now, one of my favorite places to introduce friends too. I’ve always only eaten at the one on McCarren & then recently the one on wells & today the one on Arlington & the coziness of the atmosphere & the sweet, helpful girls at the counter were amazing & refreshing. It’s hard to find people with smiles on their faces. Thanks Abby!“
“Crush has some of the best protein shakes I've ever had! The staff are always so nice and welcoming. They even gave me a coupon for the next time and I was more than happy to return! Make sure to give this place a try if you want tasty shakes and teas!!“
“Great local brewery. The atmosphere is pretty open like many other breweries in town. The service was good. If you are unsure which beer you want to try they will walk you through and narrow it down. Definitely could be a "Cheers" like watering hole, where everyone knows your name.“
“Most coffee shops in Reno are very good, but this one is exceptional. Friends and acquaintances alike have agreed with me that this is the best coffee in town. The decor is lovely, the baristas are always friendly and timely even when they're packed, and I love that they use local ingredients in their coffee. They use a local chocolatier, Dorinda's, for many of their seasonal flavors. I love the pistachio flavor so much I'll be sad to see it go!We make the drive from Spanish Springs once a week because we love it that much. Their sandwiches are delicious so be sure to give the fig and brie one a try! I do wish they had more pastries (donuts, coffee cake, muffins or different loaf slices would be nice) but we tend to show up late morning, so it could just be that the display case is sold out.“
“I love this place for coffee, the plantain coffee is my favorite and I like it much more than I initially thought I would. I wouldn't recommend them for food since most of the items seem to come from Costco (but I haven't tried everything. I don't want to say this is the case for the full menu so take this with a grain of salt). However, for coffee I would definitely recommend them!“
“I am always on the lookout for places that have Hawaii style plate lunch and found this one by chance. Looked really cool in the pics and decided to try them out. They are located on the southside of Reno Tahoe International Airport and tucked away in a small strip mall. The colorful sign above will let you know your in the right place. There are picnic style benches outside and the inside has a few small tables and chairs. The decor of the interior is like an industrial look and if you really want to see this type of look, use their restroom. The menu is not large, but has a good selection. We chose the BBQ chicken plate lunch with a pork street taco on the side. Both came out really fast. The chicken was tender with good flavor, definitely not salty. The pork taco was also very flavorful and messy! This place has limited hours of 10-6pm so you won't be able to eat there anytime you want but it is good.“
“I am not much fan of board games but I think the concep of this bar is incredible. The sevice was excellent. Even though we didn't play the bartender welcome us and explained all the activities very patient. The beer and drinks variety is great. Definitely we are coming back. Thank you.PS. I didn't try food.“
“Me and my wife were visiting Reno for the weekend and we ran across this home looking restaurant. The hostess was very nice and welcoming. I ordered the seafood omelet which was very very delicious. The cooks are very good. The food was great! If I'm ever back in Reno I will definitely have my breakfast @ The Stone House Cafe.“
“somehow my friend & i ended the night here and we're not even beer people!! but we tried the #20 and it was a pineapple flavored beer and WOW! let me tell u!! so good! as someone who is a beer hater, i will be back for that #20 and i'll probably try more flavs since they're all local. 31 beers on tap! also the staff was wonderful, angels i might add.“
“Really great food and wine! Super romantic vibes and a great way to enjoy live entertainment! We had the avocado baguette, mixed nuts, loaded dippers and arepa. The baguette was very good and fresh. The mixed nuts are a great options if just wanting drinks and something light. I really enjoyed the arepa but wish it came as more than 1. The loaded dippers were okay. Not my favorite. Overall, i think foodwise its a little overpriced and small portions. I understand the single use recyclable/compostable dishware but feels like it brings down the higher end vibe they are going for with the menu and decor. Will definitely be back but probably will be more just for drinks and light snack.“
“We can to go to the Fix next door and we're disappointed. So we passed by Sabrina's and gave it a try. We were surprised. The food was wonderful. I had a carnitas quesadilla, it was cooked to perfection. My wife had the Tai soup, and she was amazed. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend eating here. Give it a try. (Also the homemade lemonade and home made ginger ale was delicious)“
“Cheese Board has been a Reno mainstay for a long time, and revisiting recently reminded me why. The quiche-of-the-day was very good, and if it wasn't quite as amazing as their quiche Lorraine, the butternut squash soup was pretty off-the-charts, so it was a wash. The restaurant itself remains accessible, and is a great upscale but casual spot for an excellent lunch. I'll be going back soon on a day they're serving the quiche Lorraine!“
“Love Purple Bean! The people are nice and friendly, and the coffee is awesome. They have more menu options than you can imagine! Also, good muffins and snacks to go with your coffee. Parking lot can be pretty busy and tight for my F350 truck, but for me, it's worth it even if I need to walk from Raleys parking lot!“
“Enjoyed a night cap here at the 1864 Tavern with my husband a few weeks ago and we very much enjoyed the ambiance and drinks. He had a top shelf whiskey, neat and I enjoyed a signature gin beverage, the Desert Rose. The decor was authentic and well used. Service was welcoming and friendly. Will return to support this local joint and bring some friends. Please continue to support local bars like this and check them out. Stay funky Reno!“
“A true gem of RenoThis is my go to watering hole in the area, and yes I said watering hole. This is the place to go for an exciting beer selection and exotic craft options that you won't find anywhere else in Reno. Skip the overpriced greasy bar food, and treat yourself to a delicious bagel, made fresh everyday. No matter how simple or crazy you want to make it, it's always a joy to eat. The music is always great and if you want another reason to stay, board games and puzzles are openly available to use on any one of the many unique and handmade resin cast tables or bar.Great music, best beer in town, original art, and Fresh bagels everyday with the most delicious and exciting flavors, you can't go wrong. I think it's about time to start spreading the word about this one of a kind business.Vegetarian options: Any bagel you make without meat is going to be vegetarian. You have to come in and ask for meat or lox to get it anywhere near your bagel“
“Great, cozy atmosphere for coffee drinks and nice mix of alcoholic drinks. Good parking. Limited food menu (snacks or meal), but what they have is good. Super attentive, friendly staff. Hosts music and trivia events. Great place to hang with friends.“
“Food was great first time trying this little establishment out and let me tell you the food did not disappoint. We will definitely be coming back time and again to eat here. Hats off to you Gloria’s cafe for a great experience.Parking: Parking lot is small but street parking is available“
“Even though I’ve been a life long Reno/Sparks native, I’ve never been to Bricks and this last weekend we went. WOW!!! What a great restaurant. Service was top notch and the food spectacular. I really can’t believe I’ve missed out for all these years. I had the filet and it was done beautifully.“
“I recently dined at this Asian restaurant in Reno, and it's a must-visit. The food is amazing, the people are great! The shrimp toast was a standout, perfectly crispy and flavorful. Gabe's sangria was a lychee bomb. And the soft shell crab is a seafood lover's dream. Highly recommended for great food and a fantastic atmosphere!“
“I got the opportunity to try the Lead Dog Brewing location in Reno and I have to say I really, really liked my experience with their beer this time around. Enough to bump my review up to five stars. This time around we had two different beers and one in particular that we immensely enjoyed. The first beer we had was a cold ipa with the name Beyond the Wall. This was a pretty refreshing IPA and I feel like the Cold types often are. Flavor features with this IPA are a clean, spicy, bitter and hoppy characteristics. A solid beer for sure. But our hearts really layed with the pastry stout with the name Churro Please. I don't think I ever have had a pastry stout that I haven't liked and I almost always give five stars from the brewery I have it from because I am so impressed with them but they are usually pretty heavy and rich and I only want them once in a while. The Churro Please was no exception and it was fantastic with flavors of vanilla and cinnamon this stout had a smooth and warming feel to it that is absolutely perfect to cozy up with during the bitter cold snap the country is in right now (near mid January, 2024 is what I am referring to).“
“I'm a taco snob and this is my absolute favorite place. The pastor is incredible, but the fish taco is unlike anything I've ever had. Simple, friendly, family business with delicious food. Be patient it's not fast food, but it is faster than a typical restaurant. The tacos are not cheap, but they are worth every penny. LOVE YOU TACO SHOPKid-friendliness: Outdoor patio diningWheelchair accessibility: No stairs easy to access“
“This is my favorite breakfast spot. You have great service. Aaaaammmmazing food with huge portions. The French toast and Relleno Benedict was so frigging good! I highly recommend going here if you are anywhere near any of the Pegg locations.“
“My husband, Nat & I visited R Town Pizza for the 1st time on Pi day. We fell in love & have had pizza (dine-in & take-out) 5 times in 13 days for a total of twelve 4-corners...almost 1 pizza per day! And we’ve driven from our house in Virginia City 2 times, 48 miles roundtrip, 96 miles total....just for this amazing pizza! Clearly, we are IN LOVE! Great food and great service!Vegetarian options: lots of vegetarian options + veg meatballsDietary restrictions: the best gluten free crust (made separately from all other dough)“
“My friend and I visited this pizza location to experience their pizza, and it was one of the best homemade pizzas, and very ample as well. I got the meat lovers option, which is one that I asked for based on their recommendation, and my friend had the vegetarian option, and both options were, visually appealing and delicious as well. Certainly a place to check out.“
“Dolce Caffe is one of the best. Everything is fresh. Melissa, her family, and her staff do an amazing job bringing you the best, everyday.I have had multiple items from here and have not been disappointed. The double chocolate espresso cookies are divine. The croissants are big and fluffy, and don't forget your coffee and scattchata!“
“Visited in the early afternoon on a Thursday. Very kind, engaging bar staff and liberal with the samples. Great beer and an enjoyable gin. Didnt expect the canned cocktails and they stole the show. Will have to smuggle them back into California when I visit next.“
“LOVE Red rock! It's a cute 2 story bar that has personality. There is provocative local art on the walls for sale, and I always want to buy one. The best fear of Red Rock is its downstairs pool and dart room. I've met fine friends and new acquaintances hanging out at Red Rock. Give it a try!“
“Best food in town! Only wish they were open past 2pm. My favorite thing on the menu is your big fat Greek omelette. I can’t find a better Greek omelette in town anywhere! The only thing I would change about it is using organic spinach. Spinach is the number one pesticide ridden vegetable!“
“Kristen, the owner, is awesome and funny always a good time Katrina is a breath of fresh air just great and the guy bartenders are great they make sure you have a fun safe good timeParking: I left my car overnight, and there was no harm to it when I went to pick it up the next day“
“I love trying out different coffee houses and this one has been on my list to try for a while now. it was early afternoon and a little busy but the guy working the bar area was super nice and polite. I told him what my usual was at the larger chain coffee place so he made me one similar to my caramel macchiato with oat milk. It tasted a lot smoother than the one I had been used to. I loved it right away. The parking lot has plenty of space to park and inside is busting with good energy. Very clean and friendly establishment. The only downfall was I wanted a hot coffee drink, and it only came in a 12 oz. I do love the way more coffee houses are offering more dairy free and plant-based choices. I will go back cause I did love the coffee and the good energy I felt inside. So if you are thinking of trying this place out, don't wait, you will enjoy it.“
“We love Twisted Fork for lunch. The food is excellent and never disappoints. Today I enjoyed the salad special -- blackened prawns, blackberries, strawberries, goat cheese, greens, red onion, house-made corn bread croutons, honey-mustard viniagrette. So good with sauvignon blanc! Husband had the parmesan turkey melt and the New England Clam Chowder -- one of the best chowders we've found in Reno (CT transplants). Sit in the bar and engage with Ashley. She's the best bartender/server we've met in Reno.“
“Popped in here on a Halloween weekend Saturday afternoon (dressed as Beetlejuice and Lydia), and we had been mostly having beers, but this looked like a place for cocktails, and indeed it was. Had some great seasonal concoctions, including a lychee one and a spiced apple one. The bartenders were cool, the atmosphere was nice, and the drinks were great (and reasonably priced.)“
“My husband broke his neck snowboarding, and we have been in the renown hospital for 11 days. It is hilarious and disturbing to me that the hospital feeds patients poison while also helping them heal. We have been eating every meal at Great Full Gardens for nearly 2 weeks. I cannot thank them enough. Everything is delicious, the service is spectacular, thank you so much. We will not forget your important part in this chapter of our lives. “
“Best Ice Cream/Chocolate shop in Reno! Customer service is great every worker has a smile on their face and is very friendly. Be prepared to wait a little longer during the Summer season, this place is booming! This location is very well stocked and smells like freshly made chocolate.“
“Was there for the very first time, had the awesome awesome combo with cheese fries and and my friend had the same with garlic fries. Let me just say this, never had such a juicy burger in Reno that was this good at a great price, service was great, atmosphere was great wait time was really short. I'm a big guy and usually finish all my burger meals but not this time I had to ask for to go box was enough leftover for a small snack. Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you Beefy's for making first visit a great one. I'll be seeing you again that's for sure.“
“Really cute ice cream shop. My kids have been watching rolled ice cream on YouTube and have been dying to go to one. It is connected to Dorinda's chocolate shop with is cute. The staff were 3 young men who were nice and welcoming. Excited to see us which was nice. We ordered 3 ice creams, peaches n cream, cherry and coffee. All were really good and reasonably priced ( about 8.50 each). It's not as creamy as cold stone or other ice cream places but still good. There's no inside seating which is a bummer because it was raining outside and the outdoor seating was all wet but overall good experience.“
“We stopped in for a quick bite and a beer and had a great time! This brewery is in a great location on the outskirts of midtown with a small lot for parking. The food was great too, the burger was HUGE. The buzzed bee honey ale was a great lighter beer. Even on a Tuesday evening the place was quite full and lovely! My only gripe was that twice in the same meal our server forgot about two separate beer orders - otherwise service was good, and the food came out fast!“
“Absolutely stunning! This Taco spot is a hidden gem. I love their pastor tacos. I couldn't be happier with my experience. The food is delicious and it's a nice little place to hide for lunch.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp is provided to access counter and tables.“
“Really great pizzas from their brick oven. This is an all-vegan pepperoni. Spicy and delicious.Vegetarian options: They say all specialty pizzas can be made vegan. Really good, spicy vegan pepperoni.Dietary restrictions: They say all specialty pizzas can be made vegan. Really good, spicy vegan pepperoni.Parking: Metered street parking until 6pm, then free. But you might have to park several blocks away, across the River even. You can also pay to park in the city garage at Sierra and 1st.Kid-friendliness: Kids can run around the big open dining area or outside.“
“A hot day at the Legends of Beer event back in September brought me to this taco truck, which was one of the food vendors. I LOVE tacos so had to give them a try. Being filled up with beer and needing to pace myself I ordered some Birria tacos. Seems like you find Birria everywhere these days but man Lety's makes a mean and tasty one. If you stumble upon this truck while out and about definitely give them a try.“
“A small but high quality cafe offering breakfast and lunch with substantial vegan options. My friend and I got a vegan breakfast burrito and vegan French toast, we were both very happy. I also got a vegan cortado which was tasty. I would recommend going earlier rather than than later if you intend to sit, as it seemed to get crowded around 9:30 on Saturday, and seating is limited there. However, their food would be just as good to go!Vegetarian options: Great vegan options, including breakfast burrito, pancakes, French toast, avocado toast, and vegan quesadilla“
“Solid place with outside heating and tons of beer selections both can and craft. Can bring in other food besides the pizza next door. Our favorite is the taco truck behind Death and Taxes in the alley. Good place to meet lots of people. A matrix themed 30th birthday even rolled in!“
“All good. Sit at the counter and enjoy the flawless choreography of a team working together. Working the kitchen line or waiting tables may not be rocket science, but you really have to appreciate when it is done well, not a sullen face in the group. Kudos to all. Breakfast is great, and a lot, order with care! Husband endorses pancakes, and I had the chorizo benedict with avocado - delicious. Well worth shoveling the driveway to get the car out...;)“
“LONG LIVE SÜP!I love everything about this place. If you're thinking of trying it, do yourself a favor and just DO IT!Vegetarian options: Amazing option of soups with sandwiches to pair. Ample vegetarian options, vegan options more limited but still present and clearly labeled.“
“I came in to see a friend's local band and have some cocktails with friends. It is a cool venue because it is an old house that has been converted into a bar and patio. You can bring your own items to cook on the grills or smoker, just bring a receipt to show that it is fresh. They have a great selection of whiskey, tequila, and other spirits. Their cocktails are top-notch.“
“This is our first time visiting, and what a delightful experience. The food was excellent, portions were generous and the prices were great! The cocktail was delicious, and the service was wonderful. We will be returning to enjoy this hidden gem.“
“Best kept secret in the Brewery district! The Jesse will far exceed your expectations when it comes to hospitality, seclusion, and customer service. Initially, you may be hesitant with the nearby bus station, soup kitchens, and homeless people nearby but once you enter the property, you're shutoff from the outside world. In the morning, the lounge is transformed into a coffee shop (Forged Roasting Co.) and is the best way to start your day. Their beans are freshly roasted and the breakfast pie is addictive. In the afternoon/evening, the mixologists arrive and the cocktail lounge is alive. Their mixologists are experienced, meticulous, and craft the greatest drinks. The restaurant (Estella | Tacos y Mezcal) compliments the evening with hand crafted tacos and other cantina delights. When it's time to turn it in, head upstairs to one of the six unique, artful rooms that bridge the old Reno with the new Reno. If you're looking for a gem, this boutique hotel will not disappoint and I guarantee you will be back.“
“First time there yesterday and ordered chicken tikka masala. The food was Fire I just wished they put more chicken in. Chicken portion was very low. I think I had about 4 maybe 5 pieces mostly it was the sauce. I did request extra sauce but just wished they threw in more chicken. Aside from that I will def be going there again. If I gotta pay extra for more chicken I’d do that because that was the best chicken tikka masala I’ve had in Reno/sparks area.“
“This place is fabulous. I don’t know how it took me so long to stop in after living here for almost two years now but am glad I finally did! The atmosphere is pure cozy, down home awesome and the service is spot on and efficient.Coffees, teas, and bagels are great and now I can’t wait to try everything on the menu!“
