“Visiting Land Ocean for my very first time for my "birthday brunch", it was beyond what I expected. Being at the Summit Mall in Reno, NV. Walking into the restaurant and it was a very top notch vibe. We were greeted right away and sat down as we had reservations. The place was just amazing. The service from the staff to how everything was designed in the restaurant. Loved it! I went ahead and had to celebrate my birthday with the bottomless Mimosas and the Land Ocean Benedict. Perfect combination for brunch I must say. The Beef Benedict was just so tender and delicious. The Crab Cake Benedict was fresh and juicy; loved every single bit of my meal. Hands down, by far the best place for brunch in my opinion. I highly recommend Land Ocean for any occasion. Can not wait to come back! Thank you,“

“This is pretty much our favorite place to go in Reno. We love the Cajun Chicken sandwich or a burger for lunch. Always hard to decide between the homemade french fries or chips, however the Italian dressing for the salad choice is always delicious. We love the chicken noodle soup and the beef vegetable soup (I may have those names slightly off). In the evenings, we love the prime rib. The warmed sour dough bread is delicious, so is the side of beans. Prime rib is always perfectly cooked as ordered. Huge ice teas are always on point and refilled quickly. Staff is so friendly. Even during construction, we can easily find a space to park out front, in the back or on the side.“

“If you want anyone to serve you at this location of Ramsey’s Kitchen, it has to be Brandon! He is very knowledgeable, very passionate about the food and drinks, especially drinks! He is personable, easy to converse with. He made my cousins graduation celebration very enjoyable. Food was amazing, the ambience was just right. Appropriate for both family or couples!

“There is a Denny's across the street. Don't go there. Come here instead. The coffee is quite good considering I was expecting burnt Folgers. The food was sublime. I ordered the meat lovers skillet over home fries. I regret nothing. Considering the surrounding area to here I was not expecting anything extraordinary. I am happily mistaken. If I was from here this is where I would be every weekend for breakfast. The staff is wonderful, the kitchen knows what they are doing and it all shows. Bravo Jack's!“

“I have literally only had breakfast here but absolutely love the pancakes they are big, thick and fluffy. The triple threat is awesome if that's to much the pancakes sandwich is close and a tad smaller and is not an actual sandwich is great. The biscuits and gravy are good would be better if the biscuits weren't so dense but all in good .I haven't tried anything else but definitely will when I get an opportunity .“

“I have never had a bad meal at Archie's. Every breakfast item is outstanding. The salads and sandwiches are wonderful (I really like the Jamaican jerk chicken sandwich). Their namesake giant hamburgers never disappoint. Staff is always welcoming and friendly at all hours. The coffee is good and hot. Come in for a reasonably priced diner meal, and you will not be disappointed. Walking distance from UNR makes this one of my favorite haunts.“

“I went on a date here and they catered to every one of our needs. The service was more than perfect if there was such a thing, I have to say. The food was a bit lacking, meaning my date's coleslaw was dry and unappetizing and she didn't get her included dinner roll, but was otherwise very pleasing. “I dig this place. Blown away it was not jam packed. $5 kid meals. Awesome service. A few min drive from GSR. Food was cooked just right. Had an old school Reno vibe.

“This one surprised me. I wasn't sure what to make of it as it has a somewhat depressed atmosphere. Obligatory 24/7 Casino restaurant with just about everything on the menu. The service was very attentive and fast. Large menu with a number of options at reasonable prices. The portions were filling. The food was hot and flavorful. Wasn't sure how it would be as it is probably the most bland restaurant ever conceived. That being said, if at the ROW, this one usually doesn't have a long wait and swings above its weight class.

“Got the trio (sandwich, salad, soup) which was good but didn't come close to filling me up despite the $15 price. Nice to have a few vegetarian options.

The service was fair: not the friendliest cashier but was honest about the iced tea not being freshly made. It took awhile for our food to come out despite it not being that busy.

Doubt I'll be back.

“I's so glad I discovered this Applebee's! Every staff member had a smile on their face. The bartender/manager/professional comic had everyone in the place cracking up!

Its definitely a locals spot, everyone seemed to know each other.

Now the food.

It was extremely busy, food took a bit longer than normal. A group sitting near us kept complaining about how long they had to wait obviously trying to get free meals. The manager kept her cool and tried to resolve the situation but honestly if you see a busy restaurant and expect your food out in 5 mins, youre not the brightest bulb in the pack.

Heidi and Arielle are terrific bartenders - knowledgeable, engaging, hard working and very personable. The flatbreads and mac n cheese of the day are yummy!
