“I ordered a double cheese burger, nuggets, and garlic fries from this place thru delivery. They were so fast, and the food that was dropped off was hot and smelled awesome. The burger was really well balanced with the ingredients super fresh and the burgers had those delicious crispiness on the edges. The nuggets were crunchy, seasoned nicely, and the chicken tasted fresh. But what stood out is the garlic fries. It might very well be the best french fries I’ve had in my life. Each fry was perfectly crispy and seasoned evenly and there was a really good portion. Also there was an awesome amount of garlic, parm, and herbs on top of that. And to top that off, almost a whole head amount of roasted garlic cloves on top of that ❤️🤤. The flavor was insane. I’m now sure - it’s definitely the best French fries I’ve ever had in my life. If you are in the mood for a burger joint to hit that one fast food type craving, but you want really good food quality, flavor, and large but nicely balanced ingredient portions, this place will do that. “We did some research to find a great taco truck while visiting in Reno and Tacos Pillulles absolutely was it. It’s in the parking lot of a Home Depot and during the day, surely gets a lot of business. (We went for dinner and were able to get seats at the tables they had set up.) We ordered a bunch of tacos al pastor (marinated pork), cabeza (beef head), carnitas (shredded pork), and carne asada. Each one was DELICIOUS and had distinct flavors from the others. The three salsas that came with the tacos were distinct and flavorful and mildly to moderately spicy (but nothing to set your tongue on fire). The carnitas tacos also came with a delicious consommé. Bonus points for having a wide variety of Jarritos and Mexican Coca Cola (i.e., in glass bottles). And the service was quick, incredibly friendly, and pleasant. I would 100% recommend Tacos Pillulles to anyone looking for good street tacos and will definitely be back the next time I’m in Reno.

(And for those who are curious, I asked about the meaning of Pillulles. The woman who was working didn’t know, but said it was the nickname of the owner. He’s been called Pillulles since he was a little kid.)“

“Nice Sports Bar setting, but don't let that fool you. The food and service is AMAZING! WOW... JUST WOW. Mariah our server was quick, helpful and very nice! Ask for her you won't be disappointed. We started with the onion rings with the spicy BBQ sauce. Both were great! Crispy onion rings with a sweet spicy dipping sauce that hits just right. But the show stopper was the White Bass fish and chips! Not are they just HUGH, but cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside and moist and flaky on the inside. Just PERFECT! Oh and did I mention the slaw? Not just your average slaw, because I wouldn't touch it is it was. But slaw with apples, celery and just the right amount of sweet and sour with a nice crunch. This is one of those places that you want to keep a secret so you don't have to wait for a seat, but just too good not to share. So TRY THEM! You won't be disappointed. I will be back!“

“Good place with a nice vibe—yeah, it’s a little loud, but still great for having a conversation. Now, about the burger: the meat was delicious with a really nice smoky flavor. The veggies were super fresh, and the bacon was great and came in big strips. The portions are generous, so trust me, you won’t leave hungry.

They don’t offer regular fries, just tots and a few other sides. I tried the tots and they weren’t bad at all, just not my personal favorite. Service was quick and everyone was really friendly—we didn’t wait more than 15 minutes.

Whether paired with thousand island dressing which is hiw i prefer them or without, they were a fan favorite with my entire family. I was lucky to eat here 28 years ago on my lunch break everyday and still today, 28 years later the food is just as delicious as I remember.
