We ordered burgers, fries, chili cheese fries and shakes. The burgers are made fresh, they are juicy and the flavor is outstanding. The fries, oh boy!!!! Whether paired with thousand island dressing which is hiw i prefer them or without, they were a fan favorite with my entire family. I was lucky to eat here 28 years ago on my lunch break everyday and still today, 28 years later the food is just as delicious as I remember. Scoopers is a small, quaint burger place you have to try!!! EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS!!!“

The truck is usually at the corner of 5th Ave and Sun Valley Blvd. Friendly to all customers, this staff might get my name wrong sometimes but who can blame them. Usually I go with the tacos. Sometimes they run out of particular meats but who doesn't if they stay this good and busy. The wait time is usually not too bad. Parking can be a little iffy but that's because the owner of this appliance store next to it has every uhaul known to man parked at it. There is seating although limited.“

“They have an interesting approach to pizza. Super flexible and super fast. Less than 15 minutes from the time we walked in to the time we walked out with 2 pizzas. And they apologized for the wait! Lots of toppings to choose from at a set price, with some predetermined versions if you can’t make up your mind. Good thin crust, several sauces, whatever you want, they’ll do it. I look forward to visiting again.“

The potato wedges are also yummy and salted perfectly. Split a horchata with my boyfriend, and that was also very good. I was surprised at the quality here, and the service was relatively swift. The green salsa they have available was a bit runny, but very cilantroy and spicy! great for the carnitas burrito :) kind of an interesting area though, right next to a gay bar...“

So great I clean up after myself and ensure they are not cleaning after me. Not because they are not willing to do it, but because I want to leave the space I used as clean as possible because I appreciate their warm and welcome environment. Food is amazing and that flamethrower burger has been incredible since the first time I had it in 2004.“

“So I haven't been to Meadowood Mall in 10+ years but I had to go there for a specific store to get a gift for a friend. The store happens to be across from the food court and I couldn't help but notice Wetzel's Pretzel is in the same exact spot as I remembered when I was a kid. Thinking about that made me nostalgic and I decided to get a pretzel. I went with the classic Wetzel Pretzel brushed with butter and topped with salt (which is optional) and cheddar cheese for dipping sauce. It was warm and crisp, yet still soft. The young lady working the counter was very nice and had a pleasant attitude. The cost was $5.90 something, basically $6 bucks. I wasn't disappointed at all and it was a great afternoon snack before dinner.“

Clean inside and out, and as always, way better than any other fast burger joint I'd normally visit.

Cashier was friendly and willing to explain the difference between some similar items.

Price was a bit higher than I expected, but the rest makes that easier to believe.

“Best Location in the Reno-Sparks Area

I live in Spanish Springs and have been to 4 of the 5 Qdoba locations in the Reno -sparks area.

This is the best location in the area is the South Meadows location. (197 Damonte Ranch Pkwy Unit E, Reno, NV 89521) I frequently drive the extra 1 hour to eat at this location because

Go here because:
1. Excellent customers service. There are only a few employees 2-3 all older and always friendly.
2. Excellent food quality, well seasoned meat and moist rice.
3. The portions are massive they always have to smash the lit onto the bowl and I get the same order from each location. Definitely worth paying the extra charge for double meat.
The other locations I’ve been to are good nothing ordinary but the Spanish Springs one should be avoided at all costs, just drive the extra distance to another location or easier just get Chipotle.

The Spanish spring location is by far the worst location. (151 Disc Dr Suites 105 & 107, Sparks, NV 89436) This isn’t a one off, it’s the normal at this location. Today 4/1/26 7pm there were 12 employees that we could see and this is the portions they give. Always tiny portions at this location and it’s painful watching them struggle to barely scoop the components almost like they are told to get as little on the spoon as possible. Let the picture speak for its self and they charged me double meat because I asked for chicken and steak. Which I’m fine paying for if the portions reflect double meat.

Reasons to avoid this location:
1. Terrible customer service. Employees are all short and rude even when they have 12 members visible that we can count. Most employees here are just rude kids.
2. Food is always poor quality barely seasoned and rice is always dry.
3. Portions are tiny every time like its managements intention to give little portions.

Management take note, and please give the south Reno employees a raise.“

“Great food and the price is on par for the quality. We've eaten there several times now and it's now one of our main go-tos for takeout. Their buffalo chicken mac & cheese is so good. I would eat it every day if I could.

They also have a rewards program that earns $4 for every $50 spent. Their jar desserts and shakes are perfect for a sweet treat.
