“Best Vietnamese restaurant in Reno. We ate here for the first time last night and can’t wait to go back. The two waitresses were so lovely and helpful. The food here taste like real Vietnamese food. The Cha Gio was the best tasting we have had since moving here 8 months ago. . We also had delicious Singapore noodles and a hot pot. We will go back often. Only thing we would wish to change is that we would love to see a bahn mi sandwich served here. I am sure it would be delicious. We have not had a good one since we moved here.“

“The wor wonton soup is one of the best I’ve had. I can’t stop ordering it. To start, the broth is insane, perfectly rich and seasoned. And then you add the dumplings (I choose fried vs steamed usually), the variety of veggies, and all the garnishes. It’s a perfect dish. No notes.

I’ve also had their Bahn mi with the charred pork. Amazing also.“

“We have bern coming here when we stay in Reno for about 20 plus years. The prices are reasonable and we like the food. The blinds are always pulled which makes it dark and not a great atmosphere..we try to sit by a,window and pull the blinds up so we can see out and break the darkness!“

“This was my grandfather’s favorite place when we used to live in Reno, and I recently came back while visiting. To be honest, the food was very good and the portions are huge. We got maybe three or four plates and it was more than enough for a group of four.

The orange chicken was very good, although there were some huge orange peels in it, but aside from that everything else was great. The waiters were pretty good too. They didn’t come up to the table very much, but some people might actually like that since they don’t like being interrupted while eating. Our waiter still checked on us once or twice.

The bathrooms were clean despite how they might look. I think they’re just older and a little outdated, but they were still clean.

Overall, 9/10. Great food, huge portions, and definitely a place I’d recommend.“

“What a find! So relieved to find great Chinese food in Reno. Great soups (tried them all!), kung pao shrimp, szechuan chicken, and the fried rices were fluffy, flavorful and delicious (not oily and hard like most other places). Even had the right fortune cookies.

Great value, too. Our takeout order was packed perfectly so no spilling or heat loss, though the car smelled great! Will definitely be back (soon!). Thank you!

“The food here is really delightful. The service on this night was anything but delightful. We waited 15 minutes for a bottle of champagne that was room temperature. Had someone else's food placed on our table, had plates cleared while we were still eating starters, and then had a to-go bag dropped on the floor. I have never had any issues here before, so I will just assume it was a bad night.“

“I absolutely love the food here! I have come in to eat and ordered take out from here, and it has been amazing every time. My favorite thing on the menu is the filet of fish in black bean sauce (I've gotten it 2 times in the last week). My mom loves their egg drop soup and my husband really likes their house pan fried noodles. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes authentic Chinese food. The staff are friendly and attentive. They also have a beautiful fish tank which is off-topic, but needs to be said.“

“This is one of the hidden gems of Reno Chinese restaurants, hidden away in a sort of industrial area of officers and small industry. It's worth seeking out. Plenty of parking in the lot.

Inside is very basic, so don't expect some fancy place all decorated fancy with dragons all over. It's basic and they do a lot of to go orders. The food is fantastic and super big portions for a decent price. The lunch combo plates are pretty standard and give you a ton of food. No soup served with the specials though. What really shines are the few dishes I tried.

The general chicken is the best general chicken that I've ever had in my life! Most places just serve these pre battered frozen chicken nuggets ... NO, not here, they have hand cut nice big real pieces of chicken slathered in a wonderful sauce, just try this one! Another is the salt and pepper pork chops (bone in), OMG, this cook knows how to cook these just right, so super tender to the bite, not like my mother's shoe leather chops, where you gotta pull with you fingers while holding with your teeth! The flavor is so wonderful!

Also got the beef chow fun with black bean sauce. This is way better than the standard chow fun served dry style. They use fresh rice noodles as opposed to places that use the dried noodles and re-hydrate them. You can tell the difference, just like with fresh pasta vs the dried stuff.

Check out this place if you have the time. Only closed on Sundays.“

“I had the Chicken with black bean sausage with the lo mein. A solid little hole in the wall spot with a pair of elderly Chinese guys running the place.

Food couldn't be better. The restaurant doesnt care for appearance. But it isn't filthy. Its the last spot in a strip mall, and clearly all of the money goes into the food, where it should.“

“We were in town for an event at the convention center. We decided to grab something to eat on the way out of town. We'd tumbled across 2 Guys. From the outside we weren't sure what to expect. Once inside we saw a clean restaurant and we were seated quickly. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken dinner. It arrived quickly it was a fair portion and tasted great. I chose the hot and sour soup. The dish also came with an egg roll and a crab rangoon. It was all delicious. We will definitely eat her again when we are back in town.“

The interior is clean and inviting, and it appears to be popular with locals, being very busy, especially for evening dining. There is no outside dining. This evening I had Pad Thai with chicken as the protein. The dish was tasty but a little odd, as the chicken was little cubes of fried chicken. of course, there are many other items on the menu -- stir-fried, rice, noodle, and salad options. P. F. Chang's is a solid dining option in Reno, but it is not elegant dining.“

“In terms of bargain or bang for the bucks, HK Diner is one of the best in town, if not the best. The chefs aren't Michelin chefs, but they cook the food super well. Delicious isn't enough to describe the pleasant taste, and I don't have to pay an arm or a leg to satisfy my tummy. Every time I visit Reno, I always make at least one stop at HK Diner for lunch or dinner. Another plus, HK Diner opens very late, till 2:00 or 3:00am, to accommodate a night owl like me.“

“I’ve visited many Panda Express locations, and this branch has the best service. The tall Asian lady here is outstanding. She treats all customers equally and serves fair portions to everyone. Unlike some other locations where portion sizes can be inconsistent because of genders. she is always professional, consistent, and respectful.
