“Had the pleasure of finding this AMAZING restaurant tonight. The food was so fresh and the service was outstanding. Even with a packed house we never felt ignored. It's so hard to judge a restaurant by the pictures and reviews that people post because everyone has their own opinion of what is good to them. But I know this will definitely be our favorite even though we live an hour and a half away well worth the drive. Thank You for making us feel so important. Till we meet again.“
“A kinda of good yet surreal experience at KWOK’s, local friends brought us there after picking us up from the airport and straight into this little jewel of a restaurant. Dishes are very well done, flavors are tempered and not overly sauced, can be common in many other Chinese restaurant. Loved the beer I sampled there. Didn’t realize it’s kinda rare!“
“Absolutely demolished my pho. I got a 14 so if anyone needs a good recommendation, get that and stop scrolling the menu for other options because that meal is heaven (unless you do not eat meat/vegan then I recommebd a different option). Good customer service here too!“
“Best casino asian food in town! I went to eat with my family during December. We ordered kimchi fried rice, chicken ramen, and duck. Geng, one of the chefs inside greeted us with a smile and made us the perfect skin for the duck. It was delicious. Would definitely recommend!“
“One of the best oxtail stew claypot here. It's savory. A touch of sweet thick still like consistency and it comes with rice. It was a perfect meal for us. The Bon Bu Hue spicy noodles were not spicy enough and they did not have the blood and it wasn't as thick as I wanted to be. I'm missing the pork leg tooWe would like to try the lunch specials lemon chicken with wonton soup (extra cost) and also their fried rice next time. Great find in Reno close to the river.“
“I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I was 17 and I’m now almost 25 and still absolutely crave the veggie and chicken pho! Silver chopsticks is always very fast when it comes to pick up as well as dining in. I always recommend silver chopsticks to everyone. It’s my favorite, the workers are extremely nice as well!“
“Early dinner for two, fried Flounder perfectly cooked, moist and juicy in the inside, mushroom delight yummy, and crab fried rice with dried egg, my favorite. Chinese seafood done right. Try this locals place for authentic Chinese food. Families welcome. Everyone that works here isfriendly and super nice.Parking: Easy parking for large get others.“
“I'm finding the price of Chinese lunch specials going up all over to around $10.50 to $12.00 or more in some places. But here at The Donut Bistro in south Reno they're just $9.15! On top of that the food is actually really good, better than some of those more expensive places. As usual the lunch comes with egg drop or hot and sour soup, 2 crab rangoons and fried rice. No egg roll but no big deal. The fried rice here is not just that cheap, brown "colored" fried rice with nothing else but rice that comes with most lunch "specials", but it's real fried rice with egg and veggies in it and it tastes like real fried rice. The lunch comes with tons of choices of dishes, from sweet and sour anything, to veggies and meats to an unusual dish I don't see anywhere else on special, Spicy pork and Asian Eggplant. Tasty and just a little spicy. Check out the lunch specials for just $9.15 and even get some donuts to go!“
“Place smells like an asian super market which I dont mind, super nostalgic to me growing up in a asian household. Picked up a door-dash from here, any place that that has their full kitchen in view seems pretty trustworthy to me. Seating area is clean as well. You can look up if they pass inspection and they have everytime. Will definitely try this place soon and update on the food .“
“Went there for lunch with some friends, service was fast & efficient. We all had the lunch specials, I had the generals chicken, with white rice, it came with either egg drop soup or shot & sour soup, it also comes with an egg roll, for $14.99 it was more than enough for lunch. They have a loyal following & a lot of return customers.“
“Food was great and people were nice. Ordering for pick-up over phone was easy.I got eggdrop soup + chicken with vegetables.Very clean looking kitchen, dining area & WC.Bonus, but not contributory to my star rating, that they - unlike some other places - still include Fortune Cookies.Highly recommend.** Note that my star ratings are appropriately assessed based on expectations of particular kinds of establishments.“
“As Taiwanese, this is my go to restaurant whenever I feel home sick. They have various options to offer, and every plate I ever order has been legit! They make the food fresh, which is the spirit of Taiwanese food! We love our food ?Highly recommend this place to everyone!“
“I came in to grab some dinner while I was out. The reseraunt was completely empty on a Sunday evening. I believe the reason for this is because this seems to be such a great choice for takeout. The woman seemed surprised that I was choosing to dine in.The food was absolutely great and something that I feel needs to be made note of is the tea. I ordered jasmine and she pretty much insisted I try it with a little bit of sugar in the pot. As a person that doesn't like to sweeten things, I never would have known how much flavor the sugar would bring out in the jasmine flower. The atmosphere was the only thing I could say I have a problem with. There was no music. It was a bit awkward. I noticed there was a big TV screen playing a video, but the volume was low. All I saw on the screen was a police standoff at a convenience store. I don't want to see that while I eat my chow mein. I don't know about you, but a large part of the reason why I go to resteraunts is so I can act like everything is alright with the world.Kid-friendliness: Kids of all ages can eat here.Parking: There were plenty of spots in the attached parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: I believe wheelchairs can fit in the front door. They have a fish tank right in front, so I'm not exactly sure.“
“I've come here several times and have had the general chicken along with the sweet-and-sour shrimp. The food tastes great, the service is awesome and the atmosphere is clean and quiet.I would recommend it to anybody looking for Chinese food in the downtown Reno area.“
“I am all about supporting the family/locally owned restaurant. And before I even set foot into PF Chang's, I thought to myself "this place is overpriced and overrated" (having never looked at a menu, lol). And yes, it is a bit pricey. But the food is really good! Fresh, quality, personalization, it's all there. And portions are decent as well. If you have a little extra money to throw around, then I strongly suggest having a meal here- you will not be disappointed.“
“This is a great and affordable place to eat! The food comes in truly massive portions and the lunch combo adds even more. The prices for the volume are close to pre-covid affordability. The flavors are all very tasty and the staff is friendly. The bathroom is clean and private. It is sparse on seating and decoration, but the price and food makes up for this easily.“
“First time in. Our friend recommended the Seafood sizzling rice soup. It was our favorite with scallops& large shrimp. We paired this with Moo Goo. Chicken (chicken with mushrooms) and pork chow fun. Loved them all. Attentive service, they kept my water full consistently. The oolong tea was good too. I’ll be back, there are more things to try. Noticed that they do a lot of takeout business too“
“While picking up an order for Doordash, the lady working here told me to come back when I could eat because I'm too skinny!! ? In a funny, friendly way. Clean restaurant, always smells amazing, freshly prepared meals for decent cost, and I'm obviously a fan of the staff. Haha. Our son goes to eat here often. Nice little spot for a bite.“
“Had an early dinner with a friend visiting from San Diego. I had Mongolian beef and she had Lemon Chicken. We both had the dinner special which included appetizers and soup or salad. The staff was courteous and efficient. This restaurant is family owned and has been in business many years.“
“I've NEVER had better orange chicken anywhere in this country. Everything else on the menu has also been good but OH MY GOSH ORDER THE ORANGE CHCIKEN. Take out boxes are always stuffed full and they have a selection of hot tea that I enjoy.“
“They have Boba , I forgot to take a picture. Shanghai rolls, peking Duck is great here as well. I ordered delivery ? since I’m not that close to this area. They are open pretty late as well. So it’s nice change up if your tired of always going to the casino ? for late night snack/dinner. The Wonton soup ? is really good ? it comes with noodles on the side. The Taro Bun is so yummy ?. Also got a fried Sushi ? Roll. If you do not like sushi ?, Try the Fried Rolls first and start to expand your taste ? buds. I am going to add more pictures later.“
“Excellent all the way around. I started with a cup of Hot & Sour soup. My entrée was the Black Pepper Chicken and it was a generous portion. The sauce is elegant and distinctive without being overpowering. The service and atmosphere are both upscale. This is the best Chinese food I've had in Reno by far.“
“Overall: BLayout & decor: ⭐️⭐️⭐️Food quality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Cleanliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️Customer service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Timeliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Review: great pot stickers as well as cashew shrimp. Definitely a good Chinese food option in midtown. I would go back!“
“THis little buffet is the best Chinese buffet in Reno. The noodles are fresh and hot, just get there at opening for the best selection. The fried chicken wings are fab as well, salt and chili pepper style. The Mongolian part is just OK. They serve fresh made sushi rolls that are as good as any made to order sushi bar. a...and it's all you can eat. Dim Sum is there too, with several kinds of buns and sui mai dumplings as well as won ton soup. Give this place a try! Lunch is just $12.99“
“Food is really good. We ordered the stuffed friend wontons, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, fried rice, chow main and the duck. I like my Mongolian beef spicy, but my kids don't. They have the option of making it without it being spicy. Service was perfect. Food was cooked in a timely manner. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed. Kids were happy and full. My husband and I were satisfied. We will be going back ??“
“We are traveling here and found this restaurant online. It feels good. The environment is beautiful and clean. The service is enthusiastic and thoughtful. The food is served very quickly. It is worth recommending!Parking: Parking at the door is very convenient“
“Great food and ice cold beer.Had the lettuce wraps which were substantial and delicious. Don’t remember what my coworker ordered but she is Chinese and said that it was very good (red stew in pic). I tried it and also thought it was delicious. On a separate occasion, I had the salt and pepper shrimp. Also very delicious.Lastly, service staff is kind and attentive.“
