“There is something about the combination of shrimp, mangoes, brown rice, edemame, cucumber, crispy onion and lots few others with their sauces that is just so deliciously DELICIOUS! ? I crave the same things every now and again and it always tastes good. Love it!“
“For years this restaurant has only treated us well. We will always come back because the sushi is so good! Our favorites are the Rainbow roll and the King Kong roll.Big thanks to Grace for always helping us and being so sweet! Amazing service from all staff. Thanks for helping me make my birthday a good one this year :)“
“Hands down, THE ABSOLUTE BEST Ramen Shop in Reno. No matter what you get, you'll NEVER be disappointed. I always get a side of Black Garlic Oil, and that stuff makes any of their already fantastic dishes EVEN BETTER. This place is an absolute GO TO if you're in Reno and have even the slightest interest in Ramen that's better than your store-bought stuff.“
“Literally the best place to get sushi in Reno. This is "real" sushi, not the Reno-typical AYCE. Expect a refined experience that's not otherwise available in Reno. While not quite to the standards of the best-of-the-best omakase places in the large coastal cities, the value for the experience is remarkable. Also, Francisco, the sous chef, is both a sweetheart and a dream boat. Never leave us, Hinoki O!“
“I will admit, when I first pulled up to the sushi restaurant I felt like I was going to be disappointed. Me of little faith, this place gets packed so be prepared to come on the early side. I found the variety flavorful, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Especially the waitress with the blue headband and the tattoos on her right arm.“
“Absolutely demolished my pho. I got a 14 so if anyone needs a good recommendation, get that and stop scrolling the menu for other options because that meal is heaven (unless you do not eat meat/vegan then I recommebd a different option). Good customer service here too!“
“Best casino asian food in town! I went to eat with my family during December. We ordered kimchi fried rice, chicken ramen, and duck. Geng, one of the chefs inside greeted us with a smile and made us the perfect skin for the duck. It was delicious. Would definitely recommend!“
“Great place to get full for $9.99. I walked in and was met with a smiling face and nice service. I like the fast casual vibe inside. For $10 you can get a big bowl of rice, freshly cooked veggies and fresh grilled chicken breast. Really good. I look forward to trying more.“
“Deliciously original sushi and amazing Udon noodles: I wish i had more room to eat some Udon after tasting my daughter's. This place was incredible for what it was. The staff was pleasant, as well as the atmosphere. What's more, it was close to the airport and relatively affordable. The $32 all you can eat price was reasonable for the options available. There was one roll with habanero that had a nice bite to it, but the crunchy roll was probably out favorite, yet the unagi that took a long time to arrive, that is my wife's altime favorite when we go for sushi. Unfortunately, we had to remind them staff twice to bring it by the end of our meal... I was tempted to knock a star off for the unagi delay (pssed me off), but i dont think that would be proper, considering how exceptional the rest of the meal was. The jalapeno poppers were a definite delight as well! Cheers and kind regards! Thank you all!“
“Family lunch date at the Mall. We each try a different restaurant when we do this, Today I opted to try Jas & Denis Sushi-Poke and I'm so glad I did. Very fresh sushi and great taste. Quick service and very attentive. Locally owned and operated - must try! The owners are amazing people. Thank you Jas & Denis!“
“This is my favorite restaurant for their technical ability. Service can be slow, but oh boy is it worth it, it is a tapas restaurant after all. Come with friends share everything. Alternatively chill at the bar alone and gorge on skewers, you really cant go wrong with any menu item.“
“We love this place! The staff is so amazing, great customer service; and the sushi is great. They have a lot of vegan and vegetarian choices too. We had a birthday here and the reservation was quick and easy and Everyone had a wonderful time. Will definitely be back !“
“We love this place! I am not a sushi eater so their Bento box is perfect for me. My husband is a sushi eater and loves every roll he tries. Their house salad and cucumber salad are great too. We decided to buy sushi for a party. I brought in acrylic trays for them to arrange the sushi and they did a fantastic job.“
“I have been coming here for the AllYou Can Eat Sushi ? on my Bday for 10 yrs now. (At least 1 purchase of AYCE is required)The cuts are clean plates are set nicely. It can get pretty busy at dinner peak, so there could be a wait. Well worth it, though. I have recommended Sushi Rose to everyone!Parking: Many restaurants are available, so you might not get to park right in front. Always found a spot to park.Kid-friendliness: Kid cups w/ lids, non soda options, high chairs, and boosters.Wheelchair accessibility: Several parking spots and a ramp.“
“I like that they have smaller rolls. It's not all rice like some places. You can actually try many more different rolls without getting overly full. This place is great for lunch. The service is good. There's never a long wait for your food. When you order all you can eat sushi.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free and dairy-free options available.“
“Best ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI in Reno and a bonus you are in the CostCO parking lot….Always a good experience. Today we stopped in to eat, a lovely woman next to us was eating an off the menu roll it was insanely great, here are pictures of it and a “
“All you can eat for around $30. We ordered about 7 rolls and I only didn't really enjoy two of them. That's a win in my book. The Nigri tasted fresh and the hot sake was the cherry on top. It was very packed with a wait time on a Saturday at 5pm. They do tend to want you to be in and out, but we took out time. Bathrooms were dirty but I would return again.“
“This is a basic local sushi restaurant that has a great selection of rolls. Fish was fresh. Rolls were good. The take-out specials (e.g. 3 rolls special) helped my wallet. Overall, we liked the food and service and we will come back.BTW, the maki rolls that we got was a bit small because it does not have a lot of rice. Well, that was just how we liked our rolls (for lower cab diet). Thank you so much.“
“Ambiance. The place is under remodeling on the exterior. The inside is still open for business. It is casual for inside which is nice to wear stretchy pants and eat until food coma..Service.There was good service. The server came back and check all the time. We had our water refilled..Food.Nigiri is great and we all loved it. The rice is small portion which is great. The fish was fresh. The highlights of nigiri was below..ScallopTobikoSquidSalmonSmoked salmonSeared tunaTunaUnagiIkuraShooter - quail egg with tobikoUpside down shrimp.Rolls - there were too many that were similar and drenched with sauces. What I mean by similar is different topping, but most roll had fried shrimp, crab meat inside the middle. Too much sauce on most rolls..I really liked the veggie garden roll which consist of tomatoe, cucumber, avocado. No sauce.Handroll - the seaweed was tough and hard to digest so mostly spit it back out and place it on the side of the plate..Sides.- Potstickers was a favorite.- Fried tempura was no for the veggie option.- Edamame was really good.- Seaweed salad was refreshing.- Chicken skewers was a no, the chicken was fried and over cooked like jerky. Sauce tasted spicy. But good.- Baked mussels they loved it.- Fried calamari - meaty and tender.Overall we the family liked it. I liked it too. It's a solid good sushi spot for buffet. We had a good experience and will be back. Hope this review helps. Thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day.“
“If you visit here for an event on a special day, I think you can have a good time. Depending on how much experienced chef is in charge of the table, the fun can be halved. In fact, Depanyaki food tastes so good, but all the ingredients are cooked with the same ingredients and sauce, so I don't enjoy it that much because it's easy to bite. I didn't get a strong impression because of chef who is not that much skilled chef .and the food is cooked with soy sauce with butter and garlic and salt & pepper from start to finish as I said. Considering this, please consider whether to visit or not.“
“Very accommodating staff and a good menu.I always get the all you can eat, and if you are in for the nigiris and appetizers, would totally makes sense to do that. Their specialty nigiris are really good especially the kiss of fire, kei tuna and rooster salmon. As for the rolls, my favorites are red dragon, great white and toshi.“
“Food was delicious. Really enjoyed the Mt Rose roll and the ramen. Also, I had leftover ramen and they packed it to go for me—- separated the broth and the noodles so the noodle doesn’t soak up all the broth and get extra soggy! Never experienced that before. What a special touch. Thank you!“
