“A charming little spot in with a cozy, quaint atmosphere that makes it a great place for lunch. The lunch menu is thoughtfully put together with plenty of tasty options, and the service is friendly. Everything we ordered was well-prepared and enjoyable. The only downside was the French roll, which was a bit dry and tasted slightly stale. Overall, it’s a lovely local spot that’s worth visiting, especially if the bread gets a little more attention.“

“I’ve been to this Port of Subs location on Mae Ann many times now, and every single visit has been excellent. The service here is consistently quick, the sandwiches are always fresh, and the whole team makes the experience enjoyable.

I especially want to give a huge shoutout to the three women who usually work the front. They’re always so friendly, welcoming, and on top of things — they greet you with a smile, remember regulars, and make sure your order is done right and fast. It really makes a difference when you walk into a place and feel genuinely taken care of.

No one does it as perfectly as this this place. I have no idea what it is that makes it so much better but it is always fresh and perfect.“

“I have to say, for a chain franchise joint, this store is one of the best. I had an issue last night where I was given the wrong item, I called and they were able to fix the issue and because I was already at work, and couldn't make it back in, they took my info (The cashier a young lady, very spunkyand very nice apologized like crazy and remembered me from last night and gave me a big wave as I walked in)
The manager called me today to give me a refund, and I'll I asked for was a new sandwich. They had no issue and apologized for the mistake.

I went in tonight to get my dinner for work (I work in a hospital) and they were still awesome. They have a new fan.“

Turns out this place does actually care about their customers. That's awesome, and I had to update my rating after calming down and re-evauating. This Port of Subs has always been great, never a let down before. But I lost my cool after a week from hell and my disappointing experience from here that ended said week was the the last straw. But, after leaving the review, I was contacted by the owner and/or manager who apologized and corrected their errors. They were friendly, apologetic and I could tell they were sincere. A rarity now days. I will def continue to enjoy Port of Subs for their fresh ingredients, house sliced meats, tasty options and great service. Everyone has an off day, and I shouldn't have been so quick to negatively review them. Thank you Port of Subs, my local owned and neighborhood sandwich spot.

Placed an order through the app. Over half of my sandwich ingredients were missing. Tomato, pepperoncinis, onion, and pepperjack-- where were they? What a boring sandwich. Without fail, every time I tip online before receiving my order, they always eff it up. This goes for any and all restaurants that have online ordering. I thought Port of Subs would be better than that, like actually care about the customer?? I guess not if they can't be bothered to read what was requested.“

Trust, you dream of someone like me with my skill level experience. I probably would hate working for you anyway? Do you guys really think you could make a better sandwich than ANY S.F. The sandwiches are made exactly the way you want....but most importantly the employees SERVE & I hv never found ONE employee who acts as if he/she hates being there. So many places have terrible customer service but Port of Subs in Stead is TOP NOTCH!“

“I'm a Colorado boy living in California now, so I grew up on Quizno's but had to watch countless locations close in the Bay Area and along the I-80 corridor due to a decline in quality and sales. I've ordered the Traditional for 30 years.

This Reno location served me up the best Traditional I've ever had in my life, lemme tell ya. Major props to the handsome Indian dude working the joint who made this all possible. He's probably the franchise owner. Watching him make my sandwich felt like being in a commercial. I half expected the spongemonkeys to come out of nowhere singing about the pepper bar. I haven't gotten that excited watching meat laid out nicely on a set of buns since, well, this morning. It's the closest I've ever been to a religious experience. The place was nice and clean, too!“

“I haven't had Subway for many years, and went in and got a tuna sandwich from them. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! I did the Italian cheese herb bread, and added some creamy Sriracha, garlic aioli, Parmesan, and cheddar cheese. All in all, it was an excellent experience. It was a great value, the place was clean, and the staff was polite. Would recommend to give it a try if you haven't been there lately. Plus the amount of customization with all the new sauces and add-ons really can make the sandwiches really tasty. Great job! Keep up the great work. 👍“

“So I am very big on making a dollar stretch and saving money this subways will not let you use certain coupons and their establishment because the manager says so so the employees refuse coupon most of them so if you're trying to stretch your dollar I recommend going somewhere else“
