“Gourmet pizza! We love coming here whenever we are in town. Family owned business and the owner is a wonderful person. We had the pleasure to meet him 3 winters ago. I am so glad how this place gets more and more popular!!

Taste and ingredients are great. The temperature control on the pizza is on point. Price on root beer is so good! Can’t beat that.
One thing to note, it does take long time to get the pizza, if you are in a rush, you can either call ahead to order or try this place when you have time to enjoy. It took us about 45mins to get our pizza a few weeks ago.

They have indoor and outdoor seating! How relaxing.“

“We were in Truckee for the day and wanted something different. This was the perfect place! Outdoor dining was amazing balls! Comfy setting, like your own outside patio. The food was exactly what we wanted! A watermelon non alcoholic spritz was so refreshing. Not sweet but more blended fruity mix. A hot tasty sandwich, perfectly crispy sweet potato fries and that day.. a velvety French onion soup. It was a different type of bread, bunch of spices and big slice of the cheese! So much cooked onions and a broth that tasted like it was cooked for hours, to get a deep rich beef taste. Staff was so friendly and nice. Will be going back to try their pizzas and salads!“

“Shhhh…. i’m going to tell you a secret. This place has the best garlic fries. Do you know when you’ve gone somewhere once and the food was really great and then you go again and it’s not so great… Not with this place. It’s a little unassuming and a small strip mall in Truckee off the main drag, but that’s why I love this place! The food is fresh. The atmosphere is like the locals. It’s a great hangout spot when we were there a kids baseball team came in with their parents for food. Now this is a bar and restaurant with tons of TVs so be prepared the noise. It gets a little loud but well worth the visit. Services good the food is great and I’ll be back!
I got the Alpine burger with a chicken breast and my friend got the Santa Fe burger with the veggie patty. We both raved about our food and were so happy with the quality.“

“After a bite at the Cafe, great food & staff, we hiked to the Aspen Grove. The colors have just changed and it was glorious. Short hike into the woods with all of Mother Nature’s fall palette in full view. By the time you read this the leaves will have fallen, but you should still go by Alder Creek Adventure Center ASAP!“
