“The sushi was amazingly ? fresh. The place was clean and the presentation was on point. I loved the quaint atmosphere. We had an appetizer of blue soft shell crab. The breading was a bit thick and the crab was rather moist. The flavors were good but I'm not sure I would order that if I went back. Only because the balance of bread to fish ratio was so so. I think this combination could have been pronounced better with a sauce. We also ordered some egg rolls but again, their sushi was so good, had I to do over again I would have saved all my stomach space for another roll instead of the appetizer. The sushi was 5 stars +, the egg rolls 3.5*, and the soft shell crab 3.5. The mango tango roll had so many flavors going on I did not even want to use the soy sauce as it may overpowered all of the other delicate flavors happening within the roll. Same with the crazy monkey, loved the cashews and sauces and did not want to overpower the delicate flavors with soy sauce. The service was attentive to all of our needs. We also had Yuki Sake and that was delicious with a slightly sweet taste but not overwhelming. I would go back there in a heartbeat for their sushi and service.Rolls: Mango Tango, Crazy Monkey

“The best Thai cuisine in town, Chef is from Thailand, authentic taste as well. Walked in with my husband in mid-Dec, we both are Green / Red chicken curry lovers, price is right, enjoyable food, strongly recommend. Then, got lunch special take out today, it was fast prepared. Brought it home, food temperature and taste remained Hot/Delicious as we expected. Definitely would visit or take out again.“

This place is in a super small shopping area that only has a few places and it sits by itself across from apartments or townhomes. Is off the freeway so pretty accessible but didn’t even know about this location. It wasn’t busy on a Thursday evening around 6 pm. I got in, ordered and received the food pretty quick. The chicken bowl and steak bowls were good and the serving portions were fine. You do have to pack your own carrots, sauce, and utensils yourself even to go orders. The staff wasn’t too friendly and they don’t offer information until you ask a question. They could clean more, especially since they’re not busy, especially during the wet floor from the rain. It was a bit slippery.“

“KAI Sushi is an amazing restaurant. We love going to family owned businesses and supporting them. We were in Orange County and wanted sushi and found KAI. We live an hour away and will definitely be going back. The place is very clean and looks like they just opened yesterday after 16 years in business. My son even made a little friend with the owner’s granddaughter while we were eating. Thank you for the amazing food and great service. We look forward to our next visit!“
