“Best Indian food I've had in OC. The service was absolutely great! Our server was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed. The young man answered all our questions. It was our first time there and we can't wait to go back to try the entire menu. The food was DELICIOUS. So much flavor!! The venue was clean and really well decorated. They have beer on tap which is a huge plus! I am a huge carnivore but for those who are not they have plenty vegan options.“

“One of the best Indian fast food restaurant! You’ll meet the owner, Nathan at the counter and his son is the chef. His daughter designed the place. It’s a lovely family affair and you can taste the love in their food.

Traditional food with modern twist on ordering. You can “build it” by choosing burrito, crunch wrap, parathadilla (quesadilla) or grilled sandwich, then pick your protein, and filling (curry,korma,etc). There are traditional curry bowls like tikka masala, street bites like samosas, masala stir fry rice, Mac and cheese, house salad.

We ordered:

-Build it: I got a butter chicken burrito. It’s a regular tortilla filled with cheese, tomatoes, onion, rice, lettuce, chicken masala. I liked that the tortilla was thin to be able to taste the filling. It was delicious. It was so big that I split 3 meals out of it.

-chicken tikka masala curry bowl: Finally a place the loves up to their spice level. We asked for level hot and it was legit hot! Very flavorful with lots of spice. Came with Paratha which is similar to naan but thinner and made with a mix of white and brown flour.

-Popadams- crispy lentil crackers

-samosas: 3 pieces, fresh, stuffed with masala potato and pea. Came with tamarind chutney. We also bought cilantro chutney.

We enjoyed everything we tasted. A second location will be opening in Fullerton. Catering options.

Plenty of parking in this lot. It’s next door to Rooster and Rice.“

“Truly phenomenal service from the waiter, Jatinder, and the new owner, Robin! They were so attentive, kindly checked on us frequently, and kept our water topped up. The pakora, onion bhaji, and samosa appetizer sampler was really delicious and I haven't had such wonderfully and delicately spiced samosas like these that weren't greasy at all. My family thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes. The potions were large and very reasonably priced. The location is a bit tucked away on the corner of Harbor/Adams as they don't have a sign on the large marquee, but it's a gem worth finding!“

“it had been a few years since we were here. That was a mistake. We realize had much we missed it. The ambiance, the service and oh my, the food was delicious. My Indian husband and his Indian nephew and cousin were with us. We had 3 appetizers. I had the chicken Biryani, mild as requested, but very flavorful, hubs had a lamb dish and the others had vegetarian 😋. My husband complimented the owner when we were leaving. There were so many delicious dishes to choose from; we had Lamb Masala and a Chicken dish both with yummy Aloo Paratha and Garlic Naan. All dishes were generous and we will bring more friends next time to try from the huge selection. Gulab Jamun is my favorite dessert with Mango lassi, a perfect pairing.“

I’d honestly give Annapoorna 4.5 stars if I could. This is my go-to when I’m craving Indian food — I’ve eaten dinner inside a couple of times, but mostly I get takeout, and it’s always good.

My must-haves are the Kadai Chicken, Kadai Lamb, Goat Biryani, Baingan Bharta, and their naan — love them all, and they taste even better the next day. My mom’s favorites are the rasam and their dosas, so we’re both happy when we order.

One time my blood sugar dropped while i was waiting for my naan and she fixed me up a little plate so fast and sat with me to make sure i was ok. The food there is delicious! The place looks shady and when you enter the parking from road there is bay alarm security system which announces “You are entering in unauthorized area and you are under surveillance, which was scary.
