“The best place to try Bosnian food! I can’t pick one favorite, from cevapi to pizza to pita , this food taste like homemade. All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. The soup, the meatballs, the kebabs — everything was delicious! The flavors truly reminded me of authentic home-style Turkish food from the Aegean coast. The staff and servers were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and even the owner was kind and attentive.

“My family went out and had a great experience. I had a chicken shawarma plate and it tasted very good. The portions are a decent size and we have leftovers for tomorrow. We also had walnut baclava and it was very good. Not only was the food fantastic but the atmosphere was also great. The owner was very nice and took care of our needs during our visit. “Food was so good we ate here on our 7 day vacation in California, we drove to San Diego and drove back just to get more. 10/10 will return back when I come California again inshallah. The grill tomato with onion is so good and the meat cooked very good. Great service too, very kind staff.

Only downside is the outdated seats and tables

“My wife and I ordered the Mediterranean Bowls. I ordered the chicken schwarma and she ordered the chicken Kabob. Staff was very friendly and even offered us Turkish Tea to taste when we were done with our food. We're not from the area but would definitely eat here again when we're back in the area.“

The portions were generous too, so it was definitely a satisfying meal. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful, especially on a Sunday evening.
