“Today, October 17th at 5:30, I went and a guy served me terribly. I asked him what the Alfredo sauce was and he told me to go to the computer. I repeated the question for the third time and he didn't answer me in a bad way. Just that. I told him I'm leaving. Your attitude is horrible. “Hands down one the best pizza and for sure one of the BEST pastas in Los Angeles. I've tried almost all their pasta, from their bolognese to the Penne Vodka. They are all great. I normally order 2 dishes just for myself.
Best flavors you can't find any were else. There's no comparison to their pizza and the quality ingredients and toppings. I was raised in NY/NJ, so I'm very picky on pizza. I only have a few spots that I would ever recommend and Proper is on top!“

“All in all this place is great! Service was quick and our food was delicious. Everything was well spiced and the condiments for the chicken tenders were great. I should mention that the chicken tenders are also fairly sizable. Lastly, Citizens Public Market has a nice patio in the back and on the roof where you can enjoy your meal as well.

“My husband and I got the Sichuan Bird Sammie and both of us were cleaning our plates by the end - absolutely DELICIOUS and exactly the kind of lingering spice levels we were looking for. The staff and owners were all lovely and kind, and the place was immaculately clean. We will absolutely be coming back to work through the rest of the menu!“

“Hands down, this is one of the best Thai food restaurants I’ve stumbled upon. The two young ladies I met when picking up my order were so sweet. I felt very bad because the DoorDash delivery guy had stolen the original order, which was well over a hundred dollars worth of food. Not only did they replace the order, but added a couple of items for the inconvenience. Every single dish was absolutely delicious. If you enjoy chicken wings, there wings are heavenly. Honestly, some of the best wings I’ve ever tasted, cooked to perfection. And the quality of beef and chicken they use is well above average. The steak in the Thai salad was so tender, super lean and not even slightly over cooked. This will now be one of my family’s “go to” Thai restaurants in the neighborhood. “This place is an anomaly. At one time the foodie fads of LA had people of great stature waiting for an hour on a long line to eat the Kogi truck magic. But now you can do it and have he barely to yourself and great well poured drinks. “Must try! Ordered some take and bakes and had them shipped to Michigan. Order arrived intact and cold! Instructions for reheating worked perfectly..although I can’t say my sauce “racing stripe” was as pretty as the Chefs 🤣🤣. Didn’t even matter though because this was the absolute best, and tastiest pizza I’ve ever had! Crust was thick and had the perfect crunch, sauce was divine (and I’m not even a big sauce fan), cheese oh so good and the pepperonis were heavenly 😌🍕😋. Looks like the best “Detroit Style” pizza is no longer made in Michigan. 😊“

“Calling in and speaking to Sal is like when I would talk to the radio DJ as a kid. He made me feel special and answered all my questions and I hung up thrilled full of pure adrenaline. When my food arrived, it had two FREE DESSERTS and I knew why. It was because EVERYBODY TALKS ABOUT SAL ON GOOGLE. His pizza and wings and food and personality are why. “The food here is not as good as the Macho burger in San Gabriel. They need to do a better quality control. The meat is super hard and dry here. We went here only because it’s closer but I would definitely go San Gabriel next time. BTW their ordering machine is not working when we are trying to order a combo meal. The waiter here is nice though, he tried his best to help us when the machine is not working. Otherwise I will give 3 stars instead of 4.“

“I came to try out this pizza because my son, pizza was really good but great. The crust wasn't my favorite, the sauce and cheese was good. I took some home and my wife liked it very much so we'll definitely come back to try the rest of the pies. Apollonia's is better in my opinion“

“I really enjoy this place. I am loyal customer and have usually had nothing but positive experiences here. Unfortunately, the last time I went with a few friends it was uncomfortable. There was a big group who brought small children to this location. The children were being neglected and most of the parents were very inibriated. The children started running around, yelling, and falling around the seating areas. Also, a few of the drunk parents were blocking one of the restroom entrances and they wouldn't move. My friends and I did our best to enjoy our night but it was difficult to do. We ended up stepping out for breaks and were able to find seating in the patio area which was how we were able to enjoy the rest our night. Although, many others left due to the chaos. I hope management enforces a rule to not allow children inside, especially after 10 pm. I cannot see myself returning if children being allowed becomes a normality in this place.“

The lunch special is awesome.... especially in santa monica. $11 after taxes for a personal pizza, a good fresh brothers salad and your drink of choice. “Chili's is a chain and there are quite a few of them. This one is located in Manhattan Beach in a cute strip mall. It is right off Sepulveda behind the Olive Garden. Parking is free in the lot and there is a lot of parking. Sometimes the wait can be long, so I would call ahead and get on their wait list. We were there on a Saturday for dinner and were lucky that there was no wait at all. The service is very nice, the kitchen is a bit slow and they need to work on that. Our server was very nice. He took our order right away, but it did take awhile to get our food. Another server helped me with their payment computer on our table. She was very kind. Other than the coffee our food was served hot and exactly as ordered. They have great burgers and I just loved the pickles that came on it. It was cook rare, as I asked and it was full of flavor. Their children's menu is pretty good as well. The quesadillas were great. They had cheddar cheese in them. Our server told us it would be mozzarella, so he needs to learn the menu, but it was great anyway. The mac and cheese is made from Kraft, the same stuff you buy in a box at the store. We knew this because the menu stated as much. It was good, but really, take a minute and make your own. As sides we had French fries which were great and mashed potatoes which were perfect. They have a full bar and an area to sit if you just want to drink and watch a game. The coffee was not even close to hot and I was never asked if I wanted more, I did, to try to heat it up, so they need to really work on that. Their deserts are great. We had a molten chocolate cake with ice cream which was wonderful and we will always order that now that we have tried it. There were a few issues, as noted above, but all of them are easily remedied and over all the food and service was very good. We will come back to the Chili's and if you are in the area give this one a try. It was worth it. Have fun.“
