“Food was good. We enjoyed our pasta, sandwich and especially chocolate desert and mimosa champagne. But service was negligent: the first young lady who has taken our order, has forgotten about us right after bringing our food (too busy helping others) we had to ask another waiter to add to our order. The new waiter brought a cake without fork; we had to ask her to bring more hot water, then we again had to waive several times to ask her for a check. She has started picking dirty dishes only when we started paying. She did not offered a box to go. It look e like she was not motivated since we were not her customers. But the first waiter has never came back...“

“I always enjoy the food at Manhattan Bch Urban Plates. Everything is delicious, nicely presented and is hot when it arrives at your table. The restaurant is very clean and has a great ambiance. And I can’t say enough about Sandro. He is friendly, supremely attentive and leaves nothing to chance. Consider yourself lucky if Sandro is working the day you visit this location.“

“I just gave a shower in the new smaller private room and I couldn't recommend it more if you are hosting a small event! The room is beautiful, Henry and his staff could not be nicer or more helpful and the food was absolutely delicious! All of the servers were kind and attentive. Melissa who helped coordinate the event was so sweet and patient with me and all of my questions. Thanks to all of them for making the day do special!“

“Food and service was excellent, highly recommend! My sister and I live in SD but were in Santa Monica for the day and stopped here for lunch. I got the cobb salad and my sister got the West Coast wrap and both were excellent. We both also got the Ginger Turmeric Lemonade which we couldn't rave enough about. We loved the soft hits of the ginger and turmeric, not overpowering, and it wasn't too sweet like other lemonades.Overall, the food was excellent and I couldn't say enough about how great the service was.I wish there was a location in SD so we could stop by for lunch more often but we'll definitely make sure to stop by again when were up in Santa Monica.“

“Highly recommended!! Probably the best Katsu I have ever had since I lived in LA. I ordered several fried appetizers and Katsu plate. All of them are freshly made and tasty.1. Pork Katsu: unlike some other Katsu, this has light breading. The pork is juicy inside crispy outside.2. The fried mushroom is same as the Katsu, very juicy inside and without compromise the crispness outside.3. Waffle fries is not too much surprise tho as it is like other waffle fries you can get from somewhere else. With this price point, I will definitely come back for more!“

“Food was great. I got the grilled steak, beet salad with goat cheese, and mashed potatoes. The portions were good and the food was bomb. The place is clean and next to the parking structure. Staff was really friendly, Tomas in particular was helpful and sweet. Would definitely come back again.“

“I am a Korean living in Philadelphia. On my first day in LA, I visited for a quick dinner. I ordered Spicy pork, Bulgogi, and Korean fried chicken. I especially recommend the spicy pork! It tasted like eating in Korea. I hope to open a branch in Philly too?“

“The place is beautiful and the food was delicious. However, the service was not good, the male waiter at the registration desk was a bit rude and I think he is a racist. He let white people in first even though they arrived later than you and only acted friendly to them.“

“This chef owned establishment takes pride in what is on the menu. The food is made made from scratch, with very high quality ingredients, to order. A sandwich, a fresh juice, or any other menu item ordered will be worth it. My wife and I are glad we accidentally found this place. We both ate here before hitting the road back home to San Diego. The conversation was great and we left full with no groggy feeling afterwards. Worth every penny!“

“CASH ONLY. Unless you order online on your phone in front of the guy at the counter or use the cash machine to withdraw money for a $3 fee. Both are ridiculous. Pizza was pretty good! I will go back with cash in hand some day because the food was worth it.“

The workers are really nice and I got recommended the torta and the lunch plates. The carne asada plate was fire and so was their horchata it tasted homemade not the powder kind that some places give. I'll def be backParking: 2 parking spots in the back“

It felt like you were in someone's home and just enjoying the best company and meal you could possibly have. I can't recommend it enough! Oh...and the tiramisu is a must! Also best in show like the lasagna!!!“

“Long story short, give this place a go! The staff was VERY friendly and gave great recommendations. The portions were amazing for the price and I enjoyed the entire meal. My partner and I both got the chicken kabab plate and the entire time we were eating we were commenting on how great and fresh everything was. The owner(?)/manager(?) came out during our meal and gave us a small slice of honey cake on the house, which really hit the spot! We both give two thumbs up and will be putting this place into our rotation.“

“Went here for a late night dinner after a delayed flight, and absolutely loved the pizza. Since it has a build your own option, jain options are possible. We did Build our own pizza, and it was great. The dough texture, cheese, amount of toppings, sauce flavor, everything was great. The quantity was also really good. Recommend ?“

“A+ 5 star coffee ! I love this place. Great energy , great coffee and the owners/workers are so personal and inviting . The location is easy to find, the interior is nice with a lot of seating only con is it's hard to find parking sometimes but it's worth it for great coffee .“
“I am so happy I found this place!! This was one of my first times in Sherman Oaks, and I just wanted to find something to eat that would make me feel good and not run down when I’m on the go, so I’m stoked I found Harvest Bar. I’m not vegan but I love places that can make even a meat eater like myself love eating things like jackfruit nachos. The smoothie was delicious too and my friend got an acai bowl that was super fresh. Definitely gonna make this a go to spot when I’m over that way“

“Relaxed, hippish urban vibe, healthier but hearty dinner plates. By far the best part was our barista/server Vanessa, she had knowledge suggestions to make about the cuisine and was personable, friendly, fast and efficient. My only complaint is that the mashed potatoes were 86’d, I guess I will have to come back again to try them!“

“Beef Shawerma and Vegetarian Mezze Platter were soooo good! Beef was super tender and flavorful. Rice well seasoned and delicious. Falafel amazing! Even though the baba ghanoush and hummus were side dishes in the platter, they were both standouts.I would happily return and highly recommend this place. Good for takeout. Just watch out about the parking situation, especially in the evenings; it's always a pain.Parking: It's a huge parking lot, but it's crazy to navigate because people double park and sit in the middle of an already tight passageway and don't care. Saw many close call accidents.“

“This quaint and cutesy eatery, tucked away in West Hollywood, is a delightful find. My sister, mother, and I stopped by for cocktails, coffee, and appetizers and were thoroughly impressed by the cozy charm of the place. The ambiance is inviting, complemented by the friendliness and warmth of the staff. I ordered an Aperol Spritz and a vibrantly colored coffee, both of which were exceptionally flavorful. The breakfast empanadas were a hit too. I highly recommend this gem for a charming patio date or as a laid-back venue for catching up with friends over delicious bites and drinks. The visit was a pleasure through and through, and I can't wait for my next visit when I'm back in town.“

“Went with three others last night. Service was vey friendly, although you do all the work ordering on the computer. Seating was outside, only, which is OK when the weather is good. They do have heaters but they weren't needed last night. The food was excellent. The fried potatoes were fresh, and crisp. The Dirty Chicken (their specialty) was very crisp and very juicy. Mac & cheese was not like so many others that have overly saturated gooey cheese. These were just right. The sautéed broccoli was delicious and al dente. We will definitely be back for more.“

“It was pi day, so it was BOGO—definitely value for money! We had such an enjoyable evening and were even gifted a dessert because one of our pizzas took a long while to come out. Our server (Jessica, if I heard correctly) was gracious and in good spirits considering how busy it was. Naturally there was plenty to take home, and I can verify that my leftovers were still delicious today! Bonus: a really adorable and beautifully quiet baby at the next table.“

“Absolutely wonderful. It's refreshing to eat chicken katsu that's both juicy and has the perfect crunch on the outside. To make it better, it's curry compliment was bursting with flavor yet, it was not overwhelming. I think I got it medium for the spice level and it was perfect for me. I'll probably try to the spicer option when I go back. The chicken karage was also superb. The service was fast and the restaurant was very clean! I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu.“

“The food is fantastic, the staff is super accommodating to allergies, and the location is hard to beat. If you can, try going for a weekday breakfast. It's not as crowded, and you get your pick of blankets to borrow to keep you warm. ? Plus, you're covered so the seagulls won't try to steal your food. LolParking: You have to park at the beach. But there is metered parking.“

I even love the drink options lol The most surprising thing is the staff is really awesome. They seem genuinely happy to be there. A man named Rod helped us and he was so friendly. “My absolute favorite Mexican spot in all of Los Angeles! Everything here is great from the fajitas, burritos, quesadillas, to simply just their sides of rice and beans, which is my personal favorite. “Wow! I have to thank my friend for turning me on to Black Rabbit Cafe. This gem is located inside Abyss Market. I frequent this store after work, so the food cafe is closed when I come here. “First time ever in this Balkan type of restaurant. My friend and I arrived around 7PM PST ish...No crowd.Didn't have to wait to enter nor seated.Pretty quickly we got provided a menu,I truly did not appreciate the food like my friend did, but the waitresses were super quick at serving the food, bringing you your drinks, asking if anything else was needed, if the food was OK.Did I answer THAT question?I don't recall, but I don't think so.My friend did. Will I ever go back to this restaurant?Hum.. giving that I live 90 miles away from Culvert City, CA, the chances that I do are very slim.Do I recommend the place?I plead the 5th on this one.But I'll say this though in their defense: the food is not bad.I leave the good part to you all, or you'all.“

“I’ve been meaning to review this place for a WHILE. The only reason I didn’t get around to it sooner is because I was always so excited to eat my sandwich that I forgot to take a picture of it. Any sandwich here will be one of if not the best sub sandwich you’ll ever have and are all elevated to the next level with their Italian dressing that you HAVE TO get extra of. The sandwich in the picture is the Pandoras Box, and it’s fantastic, but the Hula Girl, Sweet Caroline, Captain Morgan, Endless Summer or just a traditional sub (I recommend the #6) are all amazing choices you will never be disappointed by. Also all the staff are super friendly. They even recognize my dad and I whenever we go. Easily the best sandwich’s in LA.Parking: It’s parking on Ventura, so it’s sucks, but you can usually find a spot.“

“They have absolute best skirt steak and mushrooms. Unfortunately for me I have hemochromatosis so I can’t eat meat anymore but tried their salmon and it was good but nothing like the flavor of the steak. The cauliflower mash was excellent. I’ve been eating here for years and the price has increased like 5 fold but glad it’s still there. So many things I’m weho have closed down.“

“How have I lived here for as long as I have without knowing about this little gastronomical gem. A friend introduced me one night and I was instantly hooked on the place and the Pono burger with the Pono sauce. I’m a fan of sweet potato fries and those were quite divine, aioli on the side. We just went back for a casual Sunday lunch as our last food hoorah after Thanksgiving. That LUNCH! Perfection. Highly recommend. Have the spicy marg to go along with it. Light, refreshing, also perfection. Pono appetit!“

“This is a restaurant that takes pride in the food they serve and the quality of service that they offer. Parking isn’t the best during lunch, but it’s worth parking far away and walking if you need to…it’s that good.Everything tastes fresh and like it’s made with love. They have a TON of options including your traditional burgers and fries but also healthy options like wraps, salads and more.I always feel like they appreciate my business and go out of their way to make sure I enjoy each visit. “Wow. The Percheron Burrito. It's so good and bad all in one - a bacon wrapped Sonoran style burrito. This thing shouldn't even be legal! From a flavor and foodie experience standpoint, this is a must try. Inside your bacon wrapped burrito is either chicken (my choice), carne Asada, or Al pastor along with queso blanco, tomatoes, sliced avacado, and finished with chipotle mayo. Pure deliciousness, but obviously nothing healthy about it besides the protein. This could become THE iconic LA burrito. A must try.“

“There aren't many sub shops/deli's in LA. As someone from NJ, I've missed having local sub/sandwich shops all around me. Found this place today, and it's my new favorite local sub shop. The owners are very friendly, the food is authentic and well priced, and the service is quick. I will definitely be coming back to try the salads. If you're in the area and looking for an East Coast style sub, please support these lovely people!“

“The tea and scones were delicious and a great way to start the afternoon tea. Unfortunately, the tea sandwiches and desserts were hit and miss...the curry chicken salad and the chocolate mousse cups stood out, while the smoked king trumpet mushroom sandwich was interesting. The tea includes entry to the museum and could be part of a relaxing day at the Getty Villa. By itself, the tea is not a good value.“
