“My aunt, daughter, and I popped into this place for lunch on our way home. The food was delicious with a good portion size. My daughter and I shared the chicken and beef combo plate and still had quite a bit to take home with us. Food has really good flavor and the owner was so nice. I’m definitely saving this place for the next time I’m driving through the area.“

I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling. “I recently visited Vanak restaurant, and it was a pleasant experience. The place is cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a casual meal. The staff was very friendly and quick to take our orders.

My son ordered Joojeh Kabsb, which was juicy and flavorful, served with a side of rice. I ordered Abgoosht, and I loved how fresh and well-seasoned it was. It reminded me my childhood traditional abgoosht places in Tehran.

The prices were reasonable, and the portions were just right. Overall, Vanak is a great spot for a quick and tasty meal. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Technically a small grocery store with kitchen. Their meat samosas are to-die for. They have goat, beef, chicken, or potato. They also have what we would call baked empanadas and stuffed puff pastry as well, but our family craves the samosas. Kitchen is on-site and also offers typical Northern-India / Pakistani fare that is mostly ordered "to go" and by the "from there" people, so it must be authentic and region-specific. Chutney for sure is - very different from Anarbagh and very spicy hot-and-sour for the average American taste, so be warned. Everything except samosas/empanadas/pastry is cooked to order - no hot lamps there.“

I was searching my app for an affordable mediterranean spot and this place came out so I gave it a try. I thought their food was good because it had a good rating online and their food looked good in the pictures but I was wrong because their food wasn't good, it was actually super great! The cashier, manager, and server were super nice and attentive and it costed me about almost only $30 for two skewers, salad, and hummus.“

“Everything was FRESH and FRESHLY- MADE, TASTY, and DELICIOUS at Sherman Oaks Kabob Village. Even the pita bread is made fresh from scratch. Nothing is pre-cooked, processed, or from packages. It was a bit of a wait (20 minutes), but it's worth having everything cooked while you are there. The spiced tea is freshly-brewed and wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised to have such a nice meal in such a small strip mall restaurant. It was my first time there but I am sure I will be back soon to try other dishes.
