Vala Kitchen is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is warm, modern, and inviting. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home.
The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a perfect balance of fresh, flavorful, and innovative dishes. I was blown away by the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in presentation. Every bite was an explosion of flavor!
Whether you’re in for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, Vala Kitchen exceeds expectations. I can’t recommend this place enough and will absolutely be returning soon“

“So I’ve never left a review before on google… but this place was so good I just have to. First, let me start off by saying, all the employees are the kindest people ever. I didn’t really know what to order, but the man at the counter was really helpful and gave great suggestions. Second, the food was incredible! I ordered gormesabzi (I think this is how it’s spelled), kabobs, and gheymeh for my work and everyone was OBSESSED! They said they were under new management so I knew I had to leave a review. 10/10, can’t wait to come back!“

“I live right around the corner and I crave this place everytime I pass by. The kabobs are fabulous. Perfectly cooked. The rice is perfect. Huge portions. Very recommend. I see a few bad reviews here and I feel like we ate at very different restaurants.“

“The Lule kabob is very juicy and tender! Full of flavor! Very friendly staff, ready to take your order. Catering services are excellent too. They are closed Sundays, but they may cater food for special events on Sundays is you ask!“

“My aunt, daughter, and I popped into this place for lunch on our way home. The food was delicious with a good portion size. My daughter and I shared the chicken and beef combo plate and still had quite a bit to take home with us. Food has really good flavor and the owner was so nice. I’m definitely saving this place for the next time I’m driving through the area.“

“Have you ever entered a business and immediately feel like you just walked into your home where family is waiting to greet you? That was the very feeling I had when I stopped by the NoHo Cafe today. I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling. Thank you NoHo Cafe for starting my 2020 with a reminder of the importance of kindness.“

“It was hands down the best Kaleh Pacheh we have ever had. I went with my parents, who have very high standards when it comes to Iranian food since they grew up in Tehran, and they absolutely loved it. They said that you cannot even get this level of quality in Iran! The owner is also extremely kind and provided us with incredible service. We only had the Kaleh Pacheh, but I am sure that the rest of Vanak's menu will certainly not disappoint.“

12 noon on a weekday, there's a few open tables.
Food is great. I had the $14.50 chicken sandwich. It's better than subway, that's for sure. Served on a 10" french baguette roll thing, it was good because the chicken breat is an actual chicken breast.
Comes with about a cup of french fries.
Inside the place is clean, open and airy. Bright lights and walls. NOT dingy at all.“

Parking: Parking at the valet is very expensive so I try to find street parking

“Fairly mid, especially for the price. The food was just ok but priced the same as restaurants with better tasting food. The beef koobideh had a very loose consistency and not flavored with the typical seasonings I'm used to but not bad. Hummus was absolutely flavorless, though. Steak wrap was good. We got 2 wraps from the 1 order and I'm not sure if that's just how it is or if we just got charged for 2. The rice was very tasty. In any case, the food was ok and service was good. Probably a one off for me but I can see someone else enjoying it more.“

“this place by far has one of the best Kebab plates ever growing up eating kabobs it was very hard to find original here in the states very few places can make it as good as this place does the chef here is as original as it gets juicy and tender and full of flavor I love this spot it is gem in the neighborhood great place in San Fernando Valley I've had the lamb shank also and they're filet mignon skewers are delicious in the portions if you're not super hungry you're going to have some food for later on humongous“

“I’ve been coming to Safir for 10 years.
This is the best Mediterranean Restaurant in the valley.
Food is freshest and very delicious.
They use quality meat/ingredients. The owner never compromises anything even during the Covid pandemic. It is so wonderful to see the owner caring about quality these days when everyone is cutting corners.
Safir has live music on weekends and the place is very spacious (you can dance too) & also there is covered outdoor seating.
Everything is excellent when it comes to ambience, food, and services.
I highly recommend Safir!

“Everything was FRESH and FRESHLY- MADE, TASTY, and DELICIOUS at Sherman Oaks Kabob Village. Even the pita bread is made fresh from scratch. Nothing is pre-cooked, processed, or from packages. It was a bit of a wait (20 minutes), but it's worth having everything cooked while you are there. The spiced tea is freshly-brewed and wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised to have such a nice meal in such a small strip mall restaurant. It was my first time there but I am sure I will be back soon to try other dishes.
Parking: Parking in a strip mall with a lot of other restaurants and businesses depends on what time and day you are there.“
