“I've always come to Hummus Lab for their lunch special, and it has always been good. This time, I went with my friend and we tried the Ultimate Combo.

We sat inside the restaurant, which is relatively small and has only a few tables. We both enjoyed the filet mignon kabob and the salad. The red beet dill hummus was mostly enjoyed by me with the pita bread. The chicken mini shawarma nachos weren't really our thing and were pretty much untouched.

Although we enjoyed the combo, I would say the lunch special with the chicken kabob is a much better value. I probably wouldn't order this combo again.“

“I've been coming to the spot for probably over 10 years and the experience overall has been solid. The owners are always really polite, the food is put together ridiculously fast, and the flavors are pretty familiar and flavorful as you would expect from Mediterranean food. I will say, that perhaps there's a little bit of shrinkflation because most restaurants, the portions just seem a little smaller. I think for this cafe, everything is pretty much the same with high quality hummus, tasty rice, fresh salad, but I think the meat portions are a little smaller than I remember a year ago. Also, this round, my lamb skewers were a bit overcooked and on the dry side. But, perhaps this is just an anomaly for this visit. I'm going to try again probably this month!“

“only downside is the parking, you have to engage on a busy Pasadena Street possibly even walk some steps over there but it is more than worth it! Fresh and delicious scrumptious food, where the owners really really really take pride in and care about what they are providing to others. check out their menu, dont miss this gem.“

“Very delicious chicken kabob, their shish kabob is a bit chewy but ok. Their garlic sauce thingy goes extremely well with the chicken and shish. Value is pretty good in my opinion, portions are good. But this area is a bit sketchy. Honestly their chicken kabob is like the best.“

I have been there 3 times and everytime I say that I will be trying a new dish but their sahara fries (half cream chop and half chicken shawerma) always seem to be calling my name, the atmosphere gives a very casual semi fast food vibe but the food is quality. HIGHLY recommend this place.“

“Recently my nephew got married and on his reception taken place on universal city Hilton hotel and we found Mazze banquet from Pasadena for catering. The food was excellent the service was excellent everything was on time. We had 250 guests and everything went smoothly. Food quality was 10 out of 10. Service was 10 out of 10. So happy so happy. “Phone in your order to speed up the wait. I usually get the garlic chicken panini. It's so so so very good. Keep in mind the limited hours. I wish they were open for dinner. It's also one of the few places you can still get a copy of the Pasadena Weekly.

Parking: If you don't see a spot to park in front, just park in the back. You enter the parking lot on the west side of the building. There's always an empty parking spot in back, but not as shaded.“

“The place is super cute inside. I came on a Saturday around 11am and didn't have to wait too long for a table. Service was great. Me and my friends just got brunch items, and it was satisfying but nothing memorable. Although, the almond croissant is absolutely to die for and made up for it. Definitely try the pastries here.“
