“Bacari Glendale: It is a beautiful place we have always wanted to go to. We took two friends for a belated birthday dinner (and as the staff realized it was just that, they even rewarded us with a delicious birthday dessert :-). Great service, nice ambiance, and delicious food - we had the bread (could have been a bit more for the $4,50), then shared the Mac & Cheese topped up with the pear and brie pizza that was the best.“

“Always a good interaction when coming to Z Falafel. The cooks are such nice guys and always so helpful when I may ask about one of their many options on the menu. I always try to switch up my plate when I come here and not once have I had a disappointing meal from this location. Keep going hard!“

“This was our first time dining at Little Beast, and our meal and service were excellent.
We sat in the covered patio area and started with the beet salad with burrata on a bed of arugula that we shared. For a person who has disliked beets their entire life, I have been slowly working to try them more often. Surprisingly, I liked the salad a lot and would order it again.
For my main meal, I had the Porterhouse pork chop, which is the first time I ever had this cut, and it was quite good. It was tender and juicy. It was also a little undercooked close to the bone, but I suppose that is not unusual considering you wouldn't want it to be dry and tough from overcooking. They were very kind to substitute any gluten items I couldn't eat for another non-gluten item. Because of this, I was able to try the kimchi rice cake, and that thing is a craveable morsel. My husband had the grilled flat iron steak. It was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It came with chausser sauce, which is a rich dark sauce made with wine and mushrooms. It's so good I could drink it, lol.“

“Went here on a Sunday afternoon (LSOB). Not too busy and parking on the street isn't hard to find.
Im from out of town, but I've been coming here for years whenever I'm in town. Always a great selection of breweries from HPB, Green Cheek, Santa Adarius, Occidental, etc. Can and bottle selections are solid. The workers there are very nice. Dim-lit, dive bar interior vibe with a small outdoor patio with darts, ping pong and board games.
Overall, one of the top taprooms to visit in the greater L.A. area for craft beer. They offer 16, 10 ounce and flights, so you'll get to try a little of everything. Definitely worth a stop.“

“Loved the yakitori. The standouts were the pork belly, bacon wrapped shishitos, chicken breast, and the seaweed salad. The pacing of the dishes was inconsistent and it felt like servers were spread too thin. Everyone was running small plates, and no one focused on offering more drinks. Overall a good meal.“

“Spoon & Pork is a Filipino restaurant that never disappoints. Their lechon kawali is crispy and savory, and the adobo rice is a must-try. The flavors are bold, and the portions are generous. The vibe is modern but cozy, and the staff is friendly“

“Heading to Boyle Heights to hangout with friends and my hunnis and I stumbled on this bar. The tacos were really good. They were a little pricey but I like trying new spots. I had a fried shrimp taco & grill shrimp taco. My hunnis got an asada taco and a fried shrimp taco as well. They even made me a virgin margarita. We had to park on the streets which could be a hassle but we were fortunate to get a close up spot. We stopped in there on a Friday afternoon and there wasn’t many folks in there. But it had a cool vibe. We will visit again!“

“ Greekmans does it for me every time! The food is great and I love the wine selection. It can get quite lively and noisy when sitting inside on busier evenings. Like a quiet experience, try a Tuesday evening. It has an easy casual vibe, and the food is very consistent. I'll be back.“

“Wow! One of the best hidden gems in DTLA. The food was phenomenal! The baguette alone was worth the trip. And the pasta rescued me from a deep post-election funk. And it wasn't terribly expensive either. I felt like I was on the set of Sex and the City, circa 1999, with Portishead bumping in the background. I wanted a Cosmo and a cigarette. Badly. It was giving the best NYC feels. And I loved it! Shoutout to Christopher for welcoming us!“
“There is a restaurant here called Pa Pa Walk! Sam the owner and his brother are a few of his employees. They are very nice. There is usually a line out the door. Make sure you sign in on the form hanging outside!Seating: A bit cramped, but its busy.
Parking: Cramped, but there is a lot downstairs. Don't park in Hotel parking.Service: When I am there I ususally get a water pretty quickly. They might not be the best at followup but if you are enjoying your food and DESSERT then you will be fine.Food: They serve Taiwanese foods like shaved ice, boba, slush, teas, coffee, popcorn chicken, stinky tofu, leek bun, coffin bread (with cream soup inside), dumplings, chicken/pork chop rice, sausage rice, fried rice, noodles, and they just recently added hot-pot to their menu. I also like their beef noodle soup!I love their mango shaved ice when it is in season. Their fluff ice is just fabulous!“
“Full bar! This was a pleasant surprise as the service is fast and friendly, the food is actually good and plenty of cocktails to try! The chocolate old fashioned is a new favorite of mine! It was suggested by our awesome server Peter as I like chocolate and old fashioned but dreading the combination as usually two things I like don’t usually combine well, this was an exception.
Good place to meet work colleagues before going off to dinner. Casual enough if you’re staying at the hotel for leisure. Definitely a good meet up with people you like!“

“No vegan food options. Very few food options in general. They don’t have a hostess so we had to just catch a waitress walking by us. The seating is really only designed for drinks, not for actual plates. I had a Caesar salad minus sardines and the dressing had too much horseradish. The view is 10/10“

“Atención cordial super amable. Deliciosa comida insuperable y en plato grande, los precios súper económicos. Para combatir el calor pida una refrescante kola champán heladita. Pantalla inmensa de televisión. En el interior del local pueder ver maceteros de plantas muy bien conservadas. Para la vista al exterior calle Hill hay una ventana grande y la puerta principal. Te encantará.“
“Astonishing lodging to remain! They have an amazing pool, clean water, incredible food, and a cool lager. Agreeable staff and they have a decent spa. I will visit and remain longer since I like the view before the room, which straightforwardly prompts the pool. The rooms are an incredible size, and a portion of the perspectives are stunning. You will not be frustrated!“

“Ambience was great and so was the service. Don’t come here expecting to get full on food as when I went it was mostly appetizers and no entrees. Went during golden hour and the views were amazing. Drinks are very good too. The dj does a great job.“

“Update, two weeks later: So after a slightly rocky start, we went again - the food and wine were excellent as before, but the service really really improved since the last time. I can highly recommend this place to go for a good time. If you are with friends, make sure you try "family style" - order loads of munchies - the four of us shared the charcuterie board (the salami was among the best I ever had), the flatbreads, the baked brie - and a sample plate of their delicious oils - so so so good - and given the superb quality, reasonably priced. Not to forget: did you ever try vanilla ice cream with olive oil - you should ;-) So thankful they understood and appreciated my earlier review. I will surely go again soon. Previous review: Oh, what a wonderful place - and an amazing concept. My wife and I took two friends yesterday. We were seated at a table for two, with the promise to be relocated to the table next to us as patrons were close to getting their check. Never happened, no problem.I wanted to order a bottle of wine. The service recommended tasting their canned wines - 4 different ones for $49. Canned wine? I come from Germany, from Koblenz, where the rivers Rhine and Mosel meet. Canned wine? Seriously? Still, why not try something new?So the four of us received four balloon glasses with the four wines. Wine tasting? Share every glass physically with four people in times of Corona? They must be kidding. I would have expected to get four cans - and, in all honesty, four small glasses for each of us. Sure: it ain't the Ritz - a personal glass for each of us. But sure: this ain't "The Ritz," so we shared. We are really good friends, and we did have a good time. The wine was OK - which sounds as if something was wrong - it wasn't. It was OK - nice experience, but I would personally not order again - while it may be perfectly fine for you, the reader (by the way, I appreciate you reading this ;-)Then: the food. As with the wine, we wanted to share. We started with the baked brie, which was really really good, and the burrata flatbread, which came soaked, and I really mean soaked, in Oil. Sadly, it did not come with silverware. We asked three times but never got it. Then, we asked if we could have at least some napkins. We got two. We were here to share, weren't we ;-)I asked for the check. The printer had issues. Happens. We were not in a rush. Service offered a sip of wine while we had to wait. Sure, a nice gesture. Sadly, the wine never came. After just under half an hour, we got some sort of check - still issues with the printer. We were charged $61 for the wines - they were charged separately and not, as per the menu and recommendation, as the $49 offer. $12 was refunded. Receipt: sorry, the printer.I really wanted to love the place, and as we enjoyed the company of our dear friends in a nice atmosphere, loved the brie, and drank the wine, I did not want to spoil the evening by arguing about the service, which really "has potential."It would have been easy to make this a five-star recommendation, as the location, atmosphere and general concept scream fabulous. I would possibly go again. At the moment, I feel sorry for the place.“
