“The best Mexican food I've had in the US. The meals were so flavorful. The warmed stone ware plates and olive wood dishes as well as the long gold utensils were so well thought out. They kept our meals at the perfect temperature the entire time, and the gold utensils were long and perfect to forage in the dishes. Every detail is impeccably thought through. We could tell the ingredients were high nutritional value and quality as we were not sluggish after the meal. The interior is so relaxing and exquisite. We will definitely be back soon!“

Absolutely one of the best Mexican restaurants in Monterey. Ordered the chile relleno burrito - it was amazing!
The staff was really nice and accommodating.
The menu has a ton of choices- wanted to order it all to try.
And they sell bottles of beer that you can pop open and drink while you wait.

“Ordered the carne asada super burrito and the chicken taquitos. Both were great and came with red and green salsas. Also ordered two kids quesadillas and they were a hit.
Next time we’ll try the taco plate and carne asada nachos.
They also serve breakfast burritos at very reasonable prices starting at 7am.

“Lupita's strikes again! Once again, completely delicious food! The quality of their food is so good that you won't feel that yucky takeout feeling after eating there! You will feel like your Mexican mom made you a batch of rice and beans! The key is their oaxacan roots! I love how they make their quesadillas with like a thick masa. The tamales are bomb, masa is seasoned correctly and then the fillings are so good. we love the chicken mole ones but also like the rajas and the salsa verde. Today we branched out to try their tortas and new burrito bowls. outstanding! Ask for some Oaxacan cheese on your burrito bowl! Okay, now the bakery... There is always a debate on who has the best donuts on the Monterey Peninsula, I always hear about the donut places, but for me Lupita's is the best. their donut is substantial and then the chocolate on top is decadent! I really keep saying, who would go to any sole donut shop when you can get so much variety here? Donuts, donut holes, cakes, cookies, pan dulce! and my ultimate favorite... a loaf of morning glory bread!!! Like a carrot cake bread with oats! trust me! super delicious! Lastly, they are super friendly! I love their staff! I am currently working with them to do custom donuts for my son's upcoming birthday! They are always willing to work with their customers to make them happy!“

I always get one of their yummy flatbread pizzas or their amazing burger! They also have a wonderful bartender because the Strawberry Mojitos are always dangerously delicious. “Went here for lunch during EOB and it was some of the best food I’ve ever had. The pupusas with cheese and loroca were absolutely delicious and some of the best i’ve had, also they were only $3 each which was insane to me I would have happily paid twice for the same meal. Our waitress was super sweet and my friend who got the chicken quesadilla said it was great as well. I will definitely be back soon and I’m happy I’ve found such an amazing restaurant!!“
