“One of my all time favorite restaurants, we drive almost three hours just to eat here. Worth it! The menu is unique, exciting, and delicious. The dishes always taste amazing and look stunning. I’m always impressed with every dish and the amount of effort I know goes into it. They never waver from their quality in both food, platting, and hospitality. This is a restaurant run by a family and you truly feel a part of it when you dine here. Support small businesses and eat here!!”

“I love Thai food and the fact that this place is right across the street. My favorite is the yellow curry and the Tom Kha is amazing, the chicken is perfectly cooked to a juicy tender consistency. Fairly priced too. The owners are really nice & friendly. If you like Thai, this place will not disappoint.”

“Thresa and her staff have catered an event at the clubhouse and another in my home. In both cases the Hor d’oeuvres and service was excellent. The number of guests at the clubhouse exceeded the reservation and the staff accommodated easily and well. I received complements on the success of the event. The event in my home was very professional and the response for each request was taken care of quickly. I highly recommend The Oaks

“Penn Valley Northridge is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever been too. The owner literally attempted to fight Steve infront of our son, threatened our family and attempted to sick a dog on him while he was trying to put our son in my car. Several customers came up to us and said they could not believe Carlos the owner just did that at his place of business. That man acts like he is untouchable and can treat people however he pleases, he reacted this way over a $10 credit to our tab after being over charged by his staff.”

“we came in for dinner at 6 on a Friday night. The restaurant was dead empty and it took well over an hour and we never got our food. We asked several times how much longer it would be and they just kept telling us it would be soon. We were then told it was an hour an hour wait when we ordered but we were not informed of that when we placed our order. The staff was incredibly rude and just standing around the whole time chit-chatting and doing nothing. We ended up demanding a refund to go someplace else.”

“My daughter and I had breakfast the other day at the Daybreak Cafe in Penn Valley, California. There was plenty of seating available and we were greeted as we came in. The menu and daily specials offered were all very tasty. Our order was taken quickly and our food came out hot. The dishes we selected were both very good. There are clean bathrooms available and there is plenty of parking.”

“It was a good sandwich. I had the cold cut combo toasted. I haven't had one from Subway in a long time because the one I used to live nearby was horrendous. They weren't very nice year and put enough on the sandwich to make it worth my while”

“Let me start by saying i eat here more than i likely should 🤣🤣🤣😅The food is hit and miss depending on who's cooking.... 100% they change staff alot from what ive seen so that can vary quite significantly as well...

When the right person's cooking this is the best taco bell in the area. But the grass valley location is much more consistent...

Its in a gas station. So atmosphere wise you get what you get from shell.... shell is nice but taco bell is quite litteraly just a hole in their wall! Which makes it sort of fun to be at... definetly different. More of a mall food court feel but without the mall!”

Marshall’s has a nice cozy atmosphere and excellent service. I have not had a bad pasty from them.
