“Everything was delightful - easy to find, huge parking lot, absolutely stellar service, charming decor, cute and functional bathroom, and terrific food. I enjoyed a half-order chopped salad, minus the meat. Pickle beer was too interesting to resist, glad I tried it. Looking forward to returning!”
“Love this place! They have the best sparkling wine in Anderson Valley. Sam is very knowledgeable and attentive to their guests. The setting is great to have a picnic and admire the garden, while enjoying their wine. We are members, so we will be back.”
“The winemaker served us 5 wines for $25. He gave us fresh popcorn to go with our wines. There were 3 Pinot Noir wines, all good plus a decent Zinfandel. Usually make notes but there wasn't a list provided. A bit pricey. Overall there was a good atmosphere, but would like to see more incentive to sell us a bottle or 2!”
“Nice scenery, beautiful wines and friendly people!”
“This winery is truly a must-do in the Anderson Valley! The property is stunning, and is a feast in and of itself. It’s lush with aromatic flowers, apple trees, and of course views of the vines across rolling hills. Taylor was so knowledgeable, personable and and generous with her presence. She was there when I needed her, and gave space to enjoy in between. Make this stop a priority on your next Mendo/Anderson Valley/Norcal trip!”

“I just wanted a quick bite heading to SF from Mendocino - instead I had perfectly spiced, freshly made and generously filled tacos that rival anything I had in SF (and I had a lot!), and could compete with the best out of Mexico City or Oaxaca. It's basic, it's not fancy but it is SOO good 🔥”
“I dropped in on a sunny Saturday, 08/23/25 at 11 a.m., with friends on our way to wine tasting and camping around Anderson Valley. First impression was mellow and inviting—quiet patio, big shade trees, and plenty of space to exhale before the next leg up Highway 128. As in my photo, I started with a pint outside and let the morning do its thing.
I tried the Hop Ottin IPA and the West Coast IPA, and both hit the mark—clean, bright bitterness with enough citrus and pine to keep me lingering. We grabbed a bench and let the stories roll while watching the hills warm up. Boonville has its own quirky history, and the brewery sits right in that laid-back pocket where vineyards meet redwoods and time slows down a notch. Parking a 32’ RV was a breeze, which isn’t always the case in small valley towns, and the place was tidy and easy to settle into.
The only miss was the service; the person pouring felt checked out—efficient, but not much energy or guidance. It didn’t ruin anything, but a little enthusiasm would have matched the setting and the beer quality.
I’d gladly stop again, especially if I’m threading a day of wineries with a palate-cleansing pint and some fresh air. Great fit for travelers who appreciate a simple patio, solid IPAs, and stress-free parking”

“A great find on our trip down the west coast. The cauliflower Cesar salad and black cod salad were perfect starters. So fresh and delicious. The mushroom pizza was over the top. Just amazing. I think the best pizza I’ve had.”

“We stopped by Boonville General Store expecting a typical shop, but to our surprise, it turned out to be a full-fledged café with breakfast and lunch options. We ordered coffee, which was excellent no added sugar or syrup, which we really appreciated. For breakfast, we had an omelette with bread and homemade jam and the jam was especially delicious. We also loved the charming artwork and the local history displayed on the walls. Even the restroom had a unique touch, with beautifully framed vintage flour sacks on display.”
