“Truly a quintessential Anderson Valley experience. Unique sparkling wines, perfectly balanced nuances, poured with grace in a down to earth style. Sam (she) is just a delight. She always makes our visit fun and engaging. This is a not to be missed wine country experience.”
“Great time at Maggy Hawk today. Brian took care of us. All the wines were very beautifully done. Also got a great tip about the sandwiches at Lemons. Wasn’t very busy and they were accommodating. You should visit.”
“The winemaker served us 5 wines for $25. He gave us fresh popcorn to go with our wines. There were 3 Pinot Noir wines, all good plus a decent Zinfandel. Usually make notes but there wasn't a list provided. A bit pricey. Overall there was a good atmosphere, but would like to see more incentive to sell us a bottle or 2!”
“Nice scenery, beautiful wines and friendly people!”

“I dropped in on a sunny Saturday, 08/23/25 at 11 a.m., with friends on our way to wine tasting and camping around Anderson Valley. First impression was mellow and inviting—quiet patio, big shade trees, and plenty of space to exhale before the next leg up Highway 128. As in my photo, I started with a pint outside and let the morning do its thing.
I tried the Hop Ottin IPA and the West Coast IPA, and both hit the mark—clean, bright bitterness with enough citrus and pine to keep me lingering. We grabbed a bench and let the stories roll while watching the hills warm up. Boonville has its own quirky history, and the brewery sits right in that laid-back pocket where vineyards meet redwoods and time slows down a notch. Parking a 32’ RV was a breeze, which isn’t always the case in small valley towns, and the place was tidy and easy to settle into.
The only miss was the service; the person pouring felt checked out—efficient, but not much energy or guidance. It didn’t ruin anything, but a little enthusiasm would have matched the setting and the beer quality.
I’d gladly stop again, especially if I’m threading a day of wineries with a palate-cleansing pint and some fresh air. Great fit for travelers who appreciate a simple patio, solid IPAs, and stress-free parking”

“A great find on our trip down the west coast. The cauliflower Cesar salad and black cod salad were perfect starters. So fresh and delicious. The mushroom pizza was over the top. Just amazing. I think the best pizza I’ve had.”
