“As soon as you walk in there's good music, soccer playing in the background, and a very busy waiter that will do their best!We ordered pupusas! We had a little bit of a way as they make them fresh to order-if you are in a rush you need to come earlier-But the weight is definitely worth it! Fresh food made with love! The only downside is the restaurant is a little bit cluttered left over from covid I suspect - so not as gorgeous as the pictures on line but it doesn't matter when you like good food and great service!“
“I had lunch at Las Brumas in Antioch, CA. It was the best experience of my life, authentic Salvadoran food, their special dishes and what I ordered had barbecue, lobster, grilled chicken, beans, rice and salad, etc., etc. This dish was wonderfully exquisite. The best authentic pupusas in flavor, plates very generous, they are big and delicious I recommend Las Brumas special! The service and the waiters are very friendly, our order at the table was fast, the place is very clean, and the bathroom is impeccable, I love it, this place is cozy. There will always be rude people who like to degrade restaurants and more so Latin cuisine, it seems that they get paid to be evil to damage the good reputation of this place by lying, evil and harmful criticism, but eventually will catch up with them. Never paid extra for curtido, nor have my food been cold; Of course, if they pick up the food an hour later, what do they expect, to be hot!!! JA JA JA!Trust me, the food is excellent, delicious, and fresh. The plantain rellenitos are delicious, their large pupusas and their maracuya, orchata and tamarind drinks are delicious, authentic; I can say that much better than being in El Salvador. I am not Salvadoran but Central American and I know how good this food is and I attest that I really enjoy this delicious food, no matter what you order, they are delicious, they are genuine and generous in the dishes. You will not go wrong to go there to enjoy such delicious food! I give it 5***** 100%“
“Wow - so happy to have a Salvadorian restaurant nearby. We came for pupusas and they were great. The slaw and sauce were great. I have had quite a few pupusas and these rank pretty high. The real revelation was the chicken tamales. The flavor was amazing. This makes me want to try other things on the menu. Lots of orders to go, but plenty of places to sit.“
“I have tried the chicharrón con yucca frita as well as the pupusas and plátanos fritos. I recommend the pupuas, but the rest is overpriced. The chicharrón and platano portions have been extremely reduced over the years. Not to mention the plátanos haven't been ripe the last two times I have ordered.“
“First time trying but it was during the shelter in place time. A friend and I got two of the same plates plenty of tasty food and a good price. I usually don't sit and eat inside but it looked clean. Won't hesitate to eat there again.“
