“The highlight of my visit was, without a doubt, the sushi itself. Each piece was a testament to the chef's expertise and the restaurant's commitment to quality. The fish was remarkably fresh, offering that melt-in-your-mouth sensation that sushi aficionados seek out. The rice was perfectly seasoned and cooked, complementing the fish's natural flavors rather than overwhelming them. This careful balance elevated each bite into a delightful culinary journey. When it comes to value, Tokyo & Beijing Sushi & BBQ & Chinese Cuisine truly stands out. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the sushi served. It's a rare find to enjoy such exceptional food without the premium price tag often associated with high-end sushi restaurants. This balance of quality and affordability means that enjoying top-notch sushi doesn't have to be a rare treat but can be a regular indulgence.“
“Very friendly service, good food, reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere. They do both Thai and Japanese menus including sushi and sashimi. Excellent value lunch deals during the week. I particularly like the yellow curry and orange peel chicken. My kids love the poke bowl.Vegetarian options: Most dishes are available with tofu in place of meat protein.“
“Everything was beautiful and delicious. The lady who greeted us was incredibly nice and poured waters for us while we waited for a to go order. She made a point to separate cold items from hot items and was even nice enough to tell us what each item was as she was packing it up. My favorite sushi place I've tried in a long time.“
“2 of us dined there Valentine’s Day without reservations. The restaurant had many seats left, but the service was very slow. We waited a long time to order and get our food. It took over an hour to get our food. And the booth benches were very hard after waiting so long. The food was good though.“
“Enjoyed appetizer of their Special of the day- crab, jalapeno, cream cheese, fried and with crunch topping. Was good but jalapeño was raw, would have been great if jalapeño was par cooked in this deep dried roll. Raw was clunky.Great vegetarian options that were unique, especially the yummy yummy roll, vegetarian roll, Japanese pickles and side salad.Guest had bento box chicken teriyaki, chicken was dry, not great. California roll standard. The rolls were great but bento was not my cup of tea. You may like it.“
“Amazing food and I couldn't have asked for better hospitality. Very empty around 7pm but very welcoming and they were so happy to have us. All of the food was delicious and there was so much of it! The teriyaki chicken was tender and tempura was cooked perfect. I would definitely recommend to dine in!“
“Although it stated as Japanese restaurant it's actually is a Thai restaurant serving many different kind of Thai food. One particular entree that I would not order again was a Lamb rack dish cooked with curry. The lamb meats had no taste with little meat. It was disappointing. But my other orders were quite good. I liked their salmon eggroll dipped with Thai sweet sauce.“
“Delicious food, fun ambiance, and great service! Our friends brought us to Misaka while we were visiting from Texas, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Tasty cocktails at the start, then a fabulous dinner and lots of socializing--we met the welcoming and friendly owner, plus other kind locals. We heartily recommend and will definitely return!!“
“We have been going to this restaurant for the last 12 years, at least 2 or 3 times or month. This place has good people who own it, hard working and noble employees, everyone is kind and their food is really good. I love that their food tastes delicious, fresh, safe and that is is highly comparable and often times better than that of much more expensive places. This is a great place to become a regular at, to go with family or to do take out.Our favorite dishes here:Rolls: tekka Maki, hamachi maki, Fuji mountain, Toyota special.Salad: sunomonoBest miso soup in townDelicious and a great value: white tuna tataki.Try their delicious hot tea... Whoever makes it here has the best ratio of water to tea I have ever seen!“
“Excellent, always the freshest food. Eaten at many others, but never had better. Pricing is fair, service is good & it's always clean. I'm partial to the red dragon rolls & tempura shrimp, but I've never had anything I thought was bad. Highly recommended.“
“I always have a great time when I come. The quality of the food is great with good portion sizes, especially for the price. The menu is huge so everyone can find something to get.My favorites are the hamachi kama, green beans, house salad (they put a lot of dressing, you can always ask for less), fried rice, and honestly any of the rolls (I've had several of them and I liked all of them)!Staff is always super friendly, attentive, and treat you like family.“
“Soooooooo happy this place came to Concord!!! Just when I was feeling we moved to a culinary desert, surrounded by Little Cezars, Starbucks, and a Golden Coral (that Concordians are enthusiastically excited for some reason) Izakaya An has arrived! We popped in here being cautiously optimistic for some Japanese cuisine and we were overly suprised how delicious it was!!! If you've been to Japan or you're seeking a truly more traditional place this is spot on. Udon was amazing! The karaage, udon(chicken), mixed tempura, pork belly, and beef skewers were DELICIOUS!!! The only thing that made it better was the smile on their faces and the sweet lady that owns the place coming out to say hello and check on us.There were three other tables there with people having fun and seemed to be enjoying their food too.Love this place and will certainly be back to keep supporting this wonderful family establishment! Thanks so much for the great food and service! The Asahi was promptly refilled too :)Update 10 Jan 22: Izakaya now offering sushi rolls. They are delicious!!!Update 16 Mar 24: This place is still amazing!“
“Went to Kabuki Sushi for the first time which is surprising since I've lived down the street for nearly a decade. We ordered gyoza, tempura mix appetizer, a katsudon for me, beef udon for The Small, and a bento box (not pictured) for The Tall. The appetizers came in the cutest boat serving dishes. My dish also came with a miso soup which arrived before the appetizers so I went back and forth between them. A little sad the tempura only had one of each vegetable but the batter was perfect so the food was delicious. The gyoza was also perfectly crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside. My katsudon seemed at first to be lacking enough katsu but after eating a bit, it definitely was super filling. I wasn't able to finish all the rice and half a katsu strip. The sauce on it was good and they included and extra sauce dish to be able to dip my katsu in. The katsu was yummy, nice and crunchy. The vegetables were a delicious addition to the dish. Overall, the prices weren't bad and was pretty affordable for Japanese food. I'd definitely make this a regular spot for our Japanese fix. If you're in the area, make sure to give this business some love.“
“I love this place because they make the best California Rolls ever!! And just so ya’ll know I’m not into eating sushi ? mainly due to some OCD/Phobias associated with eating RAW meat on any kind of level. So I’ll only eat the California Roll or ones pretty similar. However I have dated people and have a current boyfriend who do eat all types of sushi ? and my boyfriend has eaten at many many different sushi restaurants not only all around California but in the United States and he LOVES this place and says it’s his favorite sushi restaurant!!“
