“Ñ- (Enye) Latin Table-A Review
We play Bocce Ball in downtown Clayton next to Skipolini’s. The Ñ Restaurant is right next to that. We go to Sunday Brunch around once a month and the place looked nice so we figured we’d give it a try and went out there on Sunday, March 1st. Some people might reduce this to another Mexican Restaurant but I could tell right away it was so much more than that. This restaurant is a significant level up. It was also the first restaurant I have ever heard of with a name composed of just one letter. Pretentious? You can decide. Written on the embossed interior window panels were the names of all the most well-known Latin countries including Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Portugal, and Panama.
The restaurant had a very upscale vibe to it from the front of the building to the exotic lamps, light woodwork and hammered metal plate ceilings. The main room had two main dining areas with embossed interior glass panels separating areas. It had a giant full bar, heavily stocked. It had generous amounts of outdoor seating in two sections running the length of the front walls of windows. Even the bathrooms were upscale with black tile walls and light tiled floors.
It was quickly obvious to me that there may be dishes and foods were not familiar with which was kind of the point. I imagined that if half these countries were represented on the menu, we would be in for a treat. The tables were a high quality tropical polished wood. This worked very well with chargers and napkins which were black. The brunch menu included what I expected, foods I wasn’t too familiar with. There was a variety of egg dishes featuring sopes, tortillas, chorizo, in various combinations. I ordered the eggs benedict and my two companions ordered the breakfast burrito.
Unlike the traditional preparation with English muffins, Canadian bacon, this Latin version was built atop Sopes which are little bowls made from a corn meal base. The perfectly poached eggs fit In these bowls like they were born there. Atop the eggs was a generous portion of Carnitas with a fresh layer of Hollandaise sauce ladled over the top garnished Cilantro and pickled red onions. The test is the hollandaise because I can spot a fake hollandaise from a mile away. The eggs benedicts were delicious and perfect.
Props to the presentation of the Breakfast Burritos. They laid them out flat and cut them into four pieces. They stacked the pieces on the pates vertically so that as you looked down each piece was a cross section of everything inside it which was chorizo, eggs, potatoes, cheese, and onions wrapped in soft flour tortillas. Each was garnished with cilantro sprigs.
Our food server was pleasant and efficient as was the kitchen because the wait time for our meals was minimal. Everyone we interacted with from the host and other attendants were very friendly and professional.
If you crave something different and exotic I would highly recommend this restaurant. The pricing was reasonable and the atmosphere was outstanding.“

“Authentic Mexican foods and artistic interior design .
They seem to be a part of a Restaurent chain with their own way of management.
They serves fishes and other types of foods. This branch is located in the heart of Walnut Creek shopping area and is far from main street.“

“I started with a Lavender Margarita. It was way sweeter than I would’ve liked it to be. It packed quite a wallop but was overshadowed by the sweetness. 3 out of 5 ⭐️ I toyed with the idea of Pato Chicharrone (duck cracklings) with pickled red onions and aioli. A different twist on an old-style recipe. The ratio of fat to meat was divine in its flavor, and the onions and aioli set off all the flavors. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ Next was the Bruselas (crispy Brussels Sprouts) tossed in honey Dijon with pistachios! Sí!! Bravo!! Each sprout was cut in half lengthwise, and the layers were opened so the flavor permeated the entire piece of sprout, yummy! Nice touch and not too sweet. It was served a little cooler than what I would have preferred. 4 out of 5 ⭐️ Both tapas were generous portions and served as my meal for the evening. I ordered the Beet Salad to go. It’s done with mixed greens, roasted beets, red onion, feta cheese, almonds, with lemon vinaigrette on the side. I had a sneak peek and it proves to be delicious and so darn healthy! 5 out of 5 ⭐️“
