“I finally found the shawarma I was looking for! For more than a decade I have searched for doner kebabs that prepare meat like the ones they do in Paris (the way the Moroccans and Algerians make it). And these folks do wonderful shawarma / kebabs. We ordered beef gyro, chicken gyro and crispy chicken burger. All of the food was 5/5. We were greeted by a super kind gentlemen named Aziz who made us feel at home.

I totally recommend this place. Will come back to try their chapli kebab next time.“

“We started with their lemon soup which I enjoyed because of its balanced taste... Full lemon flavor but not too acidic. The grilled octopus was nicely charred. It was fresh and tender but not spongy. The grilled branzini was also nicely charred tender flaky and delicious! The lamb burger was the best we had in the east bay. The meal start to finish was wonderful. We plan to return with friends!“

“Wow this place knocked it out of the park! The menu is laid out well so you can build your own item and flavors. All the ingredients are fresh, sauces are on point, and each hummus is so good! I really liked the shawarma chicken too - not rubbery or hard. I also ordered a pita and it was very fluffy!“

“I had such a wonderful experience at Yafa Hummus in Tracy! The food was absolutely delicious — hands down the best shawarma I’ve had in a long time, juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The tabbouleh was so fresh and vibrant, with the perfect balance of parsley, lemon, and bulgur.

On top of the amazing food, the customer service was excellent — warm, attentive, and welcoming with big smiles that made us feel right at home.

So it takes a special kind of person to give me the energy to want to take the time to write about how special they are. Ingry is that person I'm so grateful to eat somewhere I know the one handling something I'm putting into my body. That takes pride & care into what they do. She really makes my day when I come in & see she is there. She cares about her team & making sure that they have that same care as well. “I would have given 5 stars on the food if they, like some other locations, offered Athena Fries. Unfortunately, they do not. The feta fries, gyro, and salad were all really good. Everything else was stadard/average. I did mention they should add the Athena Fries, but I do not think the staff even cared to hear about my suggestion.“

“Nick the Greek is tucked away in the Whole Foods Mowry Plaza and has good food for the price (4.4/5). Their falafel is fried nicely, and is soft on the inside. Put into a gyro bowl it all comes together well. However their garlic fries were a little soggy. The service staff is fast and attentive, and our waiter Vannya was helpful (4.4/5).“
