“I finally found the shawarma I was looking for! For more than a decade I have searched for doner kebabs that prepare meat like the ones they do in Paris (the way the Moroccans and Algerians make it). And these folks do wonderful shawarma / kebabs. We ordered beef gyro, chicken gyro and crispy chicken burger. All of the food was 5/5. We were greeted by a super kind gentlemen named Aziz who made us feel at home.

I totally recommend this place. Will come back to try their chapli kebab next time.“

“We started with their lemon soup which I enjoyed because of its balanced taste... Full lemon flavor but not too acidic. The grilled octopus was nicely charred. It was fresh and tender but not spongy. The grilled branzini was also nicely charred tender flaky and delicious! The lamb burger was the best we had in the east bay. The meal start to finish was wonderful. We plan to return with friends!“

“Wow this place knocked it out of the park! The menu is laid out well so you can build your own item and flavors. All the ingredients are fresh, sauces are on point, and each hummus is so good! I really liked the shawarma chicken too - not rubbery or hard. I also ordered a pita and it was very fluffy!“

“A handsome restaurant with good mall parking. Bodrum has some interesting dishes - we enjoyed the grilled octopus and its accompanying gambilya bean purée was OUTSTANDING, lighter and slightly sweeter than the traditional chickpea hummus. Chicken shashlik a very generous serving, and the Meyhane rice was a delightful surprise. The seasonings of tomatoes, dill and a touch of mint, added to the rice/bulgar pilaf, was wonderful. Lamb shank was tasty, but lacked any interesting seasoning although again, a generous portion of meat. Skipped dessert (love kunefe but it's filling!) and ended with mint tea instead.“

It’s big with a lovely bar and great drinks, delicious food, and really hip and warm ambiance and they are open late. We will continue to come here. It’s one of our faves!“

“Jamshid, manager of TKS San Ramon, has the greatest food, pleasant staff, and an enjoyable place to dine with your family and friends. The chicken shawarma and beef lamb are very appetizing and delicious. His staff always is very accurate with portion size and never overcooks the food. It is so tasty that you want to go back the next day for dinner again. His staff is friendly, helpful, and quick with their service, and the food is presented beautifully with accuracy in what is ordered. Lastly, the dining area is very clean, well-lit, spacious, and organized to serve customers at any time of the day. The bathrooms are sparkling clean every time we use it.

“Clean restaurant. Falafel was great crispy outside fresh herbs inside. Shawarma was good. Lentil soup good. Baba ghanoush was delightfully smoky. Alameda sodas at the fountain (which I like). Hummus tasty. Much, much better than I expected in a sad little strip mall.“

Lately their prices have gone up a quite a bit, especially they were on the high side to begin with.

“I would have given 5 stars on the food if they, like some other locations, offered Athena Fries. Unfortunately, they do not. The feta fries, gyro, and salad were all really good. Everything else was stadard/average. I did mention they should add the Athena Fries, but I do not think the staff even cared to hear about my suggestion.“

“Nick the Greek is tucked away in the Whole Foods Mowry Plaza and has good food for the price (4.4/5). Their falafel is fried nicely, and is soft on the inside. Put into a gyro bowl it all comes together well. However their garlic fries were a little soggy. The service staff is fast and attentive, and our waiter Vannya was helpful (4.4/5).“

I only do takeout, there's no dine in and the restaurant is not the same. So take it to go and picnic at a nearby park
