“Ah, I'm so happy to find good Thai/Malaysian food. It's far for me, but it's worth driving.
I am thankful to my friend who introduced me to this place.
Ms Dang was our server, and she was very friendly and professional.
I also took a picture of the menu, which was filled with yummy dishes.
We started with soup, which was delicious and served hot.
After the soup, we ordered appetizers, chicken satay, and good spring rolls
This time, we decided to try yellow curry, and we are so happy we tried something different.
Ms Dang kept checking if we liked or needed anything else. Good Service and good food, we left very happy.
This place has a big parking area, which makes life much easier.

“A little shop in the stripe serving skinless moist chicken over rice. Comes with sauce and soup for take out. The chicken is not gamey which is big plus for me. Healthy choice. It’s refreshing over fried/oily food. I only wish they gave a little more veggie and sauce or ask if we’d like some sauce over the rice. I found the sauce not enough for my chicken and rice but still delicious. Would def return when around the area.“

“The food was pretty good, but could have used some more spice. The ingredients were fresh and the was a good variety of options in the menu. There is plenty of free parking on the shopping center lot in front of the restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was very noisy and hard to have a conversation. I prefer the Andaman in Walnut Creek, they ask what spice level you want your food and give bigger portions of curry.“

“The food was really good, I didn't know what to order the server helped me pick out my meal. The only thing was a little bit too spicy for my taste, but I was able to drown out the spice with the steamed white rice. I was having a body massage and I was starving. The Japanese restaurant was closed so I noticed this restaurant so we went in.“

I was also hesitant to get the Ube horchata cause I didn't think it would work together and I do not like horchata, but it's darn good. Worth the 25 min drive from Walnut Creek.“

“I met friends (who had never experienced Thai food before) at House of Basil for lunch. I ordered for us, because I'm a big fan of Thai food, and selected Satay, Green Curry with Chicken, Rendang Beef, and of course, some Pad Thai. Everything was delicious! “Papaya Thai is a Bay Area treasure. My wife and I stumbled upon it while looking for a good place to have lunch after running an errand in Newark. We had Lamb Yellow Curry Stew and Pad Thai with Shrimp. The lamb was perfectly cooked in a rich yellow curry with potatoes and carrots. The meat was as tender as you can possibly imagine. The Pad Thai was mixed with a sweet sauce that was slightly sticky, which I like so the noodles adhere to each other. I don’t know if this is traditional, but really like Pad Thai like that.“
