“A little shop in the stripe serving skinless moist chicken over rice. Comes with sauce and soup for take out. The chicken is not gamey which is big plus for me. Healthy choice. It’s refreshing over fried/oily food. I only wish they gave a little more veggie and sauce or ask if we’d like some sauce over the rice. I found the sauce not enough for my chicken and rice but still delicious. Would def return when around the area.“

“I had such a great experience here! The food was authentic, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — especially the curry and pad thai, which were both amazing. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and has a really nice atmosphere.“

We were very full by the end of our lunch and overall had a good experience. We will definitely visit again. One small suggestion: since the indoor space is limited, it might be challenging, but perhaps they could explore ways to make better use of the outdoor area during colder months, as winter can get quite chilly.“

“The food was really good, I didn't know what to order the server helped me pick out my meal. The only thing was a little bit too spicy for my taste, but I was able to drown out the spice with the steamed white rice. I was having a body massage and I was starving. The Japanese restaurant was closed so I noticed this restaurant so we went in.“

“Delicious dinner in a casual yet lovely environment with tasteful decor. The yellow curry was a standout to me, though everything we ordered was great. We left no crumbs! And friendly service by the owner, who was holding down the fort on his own on a Wednesday evening.“

I was also hesitant to get the Ube horchata cause I didn't think it would work together and I do not like horchata, but it's darn good. Worth the 25 min drive from Walnut Creek.“

I ordered for us, because I'm a big fan of Thai food, and selected Satay, Green Curry with Chicken, Rendang Beef, and of course, some Pad Thai. Everything was delicious! “Papaya Thai is a Bay Area treasure. My wife and I stumbled upon it while looking for a good place to have lunch after running an errand in Newark. We had Lamb Yellow Curry Stew and Pad Thai with Shrimp. The lamb was perfectly cooked in a rich yellow curry with potatoes and carrots. The meat was as tender as you can possibly imagine. The Pad Thai was mixed with a sweet sauce that was slightly sticky, which I like so the noodles adhere to each other. I don’t know if this is traditional, but really like Pad Thai like that.“
