“First time trying the Chinese burger at Miss Sichuan . The rou jia mo was so good, honestly one of the best I’ve had. The bread was thin and crispy on the outside, soft inside, and the pork was super flavorful and juicy without being greasy. Every bite had that perfect balance of savory, tender, and just a little bit of spice. It tasted fresh, filling, and really comforting at the same time. If you’ve never tried a Chinese burger before, this is a great place to start , I’d definitely come back for this again. 5 stars for sure.“

“Whenever I come to visit my family in the area, Get Sum Dim Sum is where I come for amazing food. The flavors and textures are incredible. My favorite savory dish is the shrimp and leek dumplings and for dessert, the lava buns. If you want to find comfort food in Southern California, this is where you should go. Since I live far away, I do not get to eat here as often as I would like so I’ll have to live vicariously through you. Enjoy!“

What we ordered: xiao long bao (buy 1 get 1 free so we ordered pork and pork&shrimp), beef wrap and spicy beef noodle soup. Good! Would order again! But like I said. Gotta try the rest of the menu. 😉“

“Best authentic dim sum in this area -hands down. They offer special dim sum dishes like scallop shumai in xo sauce and abalone shrimp shumai in xo sauce to name a few. Both were delicious! “Food 4/5 - Ordered beef chow fun, chinese sausage/diced broccoli fried rice, braised crispy tofu w/ three delights, and crispy pan-fried whole flounder. Beef chow fun and the fried rice were delicious, both dishes have very good “wok-hei”. Crispy pan-fried flounder was also delicious, good crispy outside fry with the fish still being soft. There’s some soy sauce beneath the fish, but I’d like it to be served on the side so you can dip your fish pieces. Braised crispy tofu was good, tofu texture was very soft and the 3 delights (shrimp/fish fillet/octopus) were fine.

Price $$ - Price is good for the portions that were served. The plates might look small, but they have depth.

Service 3/5 - Service is average, we needed to flag down a server to refill our drinks.

Atmosphere 4/5 - Interior is good with Chinese themed decor.

“I had a late but great lunch with my mom here. Their service is excellent and our special requests were satisfied. The shredded chicken is very fresh and tasty (not available all the time). The porridge is also freshly made. We will be back for sure.“

“Came here on a Thursday for some dinner to-go. There were around 2-3 customers when I dropped by around 7pm.

I got a garlic veggie and a crispy noodle. Both were super delicious. The veggie sauce made it just right seasoning. Would definitely come back for some dim sum next time“

“Had dinner at Top Island Seafood Restaurant recently and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. The dishes were flavorful, well-prepared, and served in generous portions, making it a great place for sharing family-style meals.

The seafood was fresh, the vegetables were cooked perfectly, and every dish arrived hot and full of flavor. You can tell the kitchen pays attention to quality and consistency. “Ordered takeout during the holidays and the food was ready to go at the agreed upon time. The staff were very thoughtful and kept the fried dish uncovered in the to-go bag to maintain the crispiness. After the car ride home, it was still crispy and yummy. Overall the food was pretty good and a hit with most of the people. Some of the dishes were a bit salty, but that was expected from this type of establishment.“

“I feel that in keeping with Asian restaurant tradition I should award 3 stars because, as we all know, this is the perfect amount. Five stars and it's a bougie Asian fusion place that's going to rip you off. You want three stars because the service will feel inattentive to western eaters but be perfect for eastern diners. So these five stars are adjusted for my tastes: I don't want to be bothered while I eat, I don't need ambiance when eating Chinese food, and I don't want to pay extra for these. In fact, I would say when I sent the service was a little too attentive 😂😂😂. I'll also say that I ate with my friends from China so my experience was we walked in, Chinese was spoken, we were ushered into a nondescript back room, more Chinese was spoken, huge plates of the best food were delivered, a person kept checking in on us hence my comment that the service was too attentive, we fought over the bill, I lost, and we left with tons of leftovers. Asian 3 stars. Would recommend and come back.“
