“Excellent servers, friendly owner and the atmosphere is very cozy and beautiful. The red pasta was al dente & yummy. The pizzas crust is just too crispy, hard and thin for us. The toppings tasted great though. The oil drops add great flavor. I still recommend trying once in case you like their type of crust.“

“New York Pizza in Palo Alto is, in my opinion, the best pizza in the Bay Area. The taste of their pizzas is absolutely delightful, and the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The staff is just amazing, so attentive, friendly, and always ready to serve and make sure you’re satisfied. I love dining in, but their delivery service is also fantastic. It’s a treat every single time! Thank you for everything!“

“I ate at Pazzo on Wednesday and had a great experience. The restaurant is take out only. I ordered at the restaurant instead of on the phone. The staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The order took about 20 minutes and we had a drink outside while waiting. I HIGHLY recommend the shrimp and grits. Over anything else on the menu! And I was told the gnocchi was amazing too iAnd of course the pizza is awesome!“

“I was lucky enough to get a coupon on the back of my grocery receipt, and it led me to the best pizza in San Mateo County. It is artisan pizza that truly tastes like it. The price is so much less than all of the shops with big claims and contest wins, and the taste is so much better. Highly recommended. And the owner is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.“

“Cool, small spot with plenty of seating and fun retro games to choose from. The menu isn’t as extensive as the other location (I was hoping for the bread), but it still offers plenty of options, including a kid-friendly section.
The fries were dynamic—naturally cut with well-balanced salt and pepper seasoning. The wings were overall good, though two were undercooked and clearly showed red parts. The pizza was loaded with pepperoni, with a solid balance of cheese and sauce; the crust was flaky, not overly chewy, and well cooked.
Good variety of drinks, helpful staff, and virtually no wait time. Worth stopping by out of your way if your around here definitely“

“Good stuff. Ended up here after our car broke down and needed a full recharge. Boy was it a sight for sore eyes after all that. I'm pretty sure I'd have loved the taste of the pizza even if I hadn't been eating it after a cruddy day. Very fresh, good crunchy crusts that are fluffy inside. Not too greasy. Fast, too.“

“One of the best up-and-coming pizzas in the bay. Plain cheese has always been great and I recently got the "Pub Grub" pizza lab special that had buffalo cauliflower and a house made ranch sauce, probably the best speciality pizza I've ever had.“

“4 and 1/2
It was a birthday dinner for a large group. Pizzas and pastas were very good except ragu. Steak was under seasoned. Calamari sauce was great.
No cake cutting fee. Slow service
I will come back for pasta and calamari sauce“

“Was excited to try Tony Gemignani’s “Apricot Fields” slice (exclusive to Mountain View), and he did not disappoint. Chalk up another winner that went great with our Cal-Italia, and the Wise Guy. A little Hot Honey and extra fig preserve allowed us to add a custom touch as each desired. Can’t even complain about the wait for a closer Slice House, because I know Tony Respects the Craft too much to rush any location before they are up to the highest standards. Bravo!“
“Square Pie Guys never disappoints. The crust is perfectly crispy the sauce is rich and flavorful, and the toppings are always cooked perfectly. Everything tastes fresh and made with care. Easily one of my go-to spots when I’m craving pizza. I would love a few more cheeses and pepper packets tho. But overall amazing pizza.“

“They used a third party for delivery, which ended up being awful, but the customer service provided to resolve the issue was on point. The manager went above and beyond to correct the issue and did it as fast as possible. Super grateful for her efforts!“

“A great New York style pizza restaurant mainly to go.
A wide variety of toppings are available, allowing you to order the pizza of your choice. You can choose different toppings on the right and left sides, so you can enjoy different tastes in a single pizza. There are also four different sizes to choose from (10“, 12”, 14“, and 16”), making it easy to adjust to fit the number of people and your appetite. I ordered the 10” to eat alone for lunch and it was just right. If I was a bit more hungry, I thought I could eat 12 inches as well.
You can order online and choose either to pickup or delivery. You can choose to pay by cash or credit card and since I chose to pickup and to pay by credit card, the payment was at the store when I picked it up.
I had Maldonado's Special Pizza and it was really good! I ordered a sandwich and a caesar salad the following day. The sandwich came with a tiny potato chips.
I will definitely order again when I visit Palo Alto again.“

“I grew up on Round Table Pizza and it has been years since I've been in a city that has one and this RTP does not disappoint. This is classic west coast pizza. While all the pies are lovely, the lunch buffet daily from 11am-1pm is a deal in a half. All you can eat pizza, salad and soda for $15 bucks ($16.63 w/ tax) fuhgeddaboudit. Recently remodeled. Staff are very friendly. Thanks RTP, I'll definitely be back. Cheers!“

“The New York style was extremely good, I could finish half a cheese by myself. The Detroit style was more iffy, I mean I loved the crust but the cheese slid off like nothing. The meatballs are absolutely beautiful, honestly some of the best I’ve ever had“

“Consistently excellent pizza with great variety in the salad bar. Excellent for their weekday lunch specials. A little pricier than the average pizza chain but quality is far, far better and definitely worth it. Staff is also super friendly and I’ve always had great customer service at this location.
My go-to for takeout pizza in the area!“

“On the way back for the morning, we stopped by Emmanuel’s Pizza and Bakery to get our lunch. This time, we bought a Large Pizza with 3 toppings ($32 inclusive of taxes) and we chose BBQ chicken, chorizo and mushroom which turned out to be very delicious. They were made-to-order and we waited for about 25 minutes for the pizza to be boxed up, fresh from the oven for us.
Back at our AirBnB, we found Emmanuel’s Pizza to be so delicious! Love the crust and the ingredients were also prepared separately. For instance, the BBQ chicken was so tender and flavourful. The portion and ingredients were also very generous – so much so that we could only eat 3 slices each and keep half the pizza for tomorrow’s breakfast. A really satisfying meal, reminding us that with the experience from Gianni’s and Emmanuel’s, USA does make excellent made-to-order pizzas...

“Watched an NBA game, college basketball ?, and Olympics on two different big screens. Good volume, not too loud. Amazing pizza as always, best crust. Clean, fast, great beer selection. Great way to end an evening of adventures with my son.
Parking: Short walk from available street parking on El Camino Real. My understanding is there is a good sized lot in the back but never needed to go there.“

“I had a great experience at Pizza My Heart in Mountain View, and I especially want to thank Daniela for her outstanding service. She was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely willing to help. When I placed my order and later had to make some changes, she went out of her way to assist me and even helped make sure I could still keep the best discount available.
It’s rare to see someone put in that much effort to help a customer, and Daniela did it with a great attitude the entire time. Her friendliness and dedication really made the experience better. Thank you, Daniela!“

“The best pizza on the peninsula 💯 I am a big fan of Blue Line Pizza. I hope their restaurant will expand statewide!
Their deep-dish pizza was just amazing. The addictive texture of the cornmeal pizza dough can only be found here!
We visited last night. The two ladies' table services were great, especially the Asian girl, who was just amazing. We wish we could come back to have more different flavors 😊“

“Mountain Mike’s – Menlo Park’s Certified Slice of Nostalgia
Welcome back to another episode of Local Eats For People Who Know Better, and today’s star is none other than Mountain Mike’s in Menlo Park. A Bay Area staple. The kind of spot that doesn’t need to reinvent itself every three years. No sourdough crust, no “Neapolitan-style artisan fire-kissed flatbread.” Just heat, cheese, carbs, and memories from a simpler, pre-smartphone era.
Before you even walk inside, the aroma creeping across that Main Street intersection hits you with the force of a Chuck E. Cheese pizza siren. A primal call. A scent that grabs your childhood by the collar and drags it out of hiding. By the time you pull the door open, you’re already halfway transported to 1998, seatbelt optional.
Inside, nothing tries to impress you—and that’s exactly why it slaps. No animatronic rodents. No LED menus. No QR-code ordering labyrinth with a “20 percent tip for literally handing you a cup” prompt. This place is a preserved time capsule: warm, chaotic, stubborn, and beautifully unfancy.
We pulled up on a Thursday and ordered a large cheese pizza with jalapeños to split like joint custody. Bless the pizza gods, because it just so happened to be half-off large pizza night. Destiny. Fate. Providence. Whatever it was, we didn’t question it.
We wandered into the arcade corner to kill some time, and the lineup is exactly what you’d expect from a place running on pure tradition. A graveyard of mostly fighting games, modded cabinets held together by prayer, controllers drifting harder than a 1994 Civic on bald tires. Street Fighter Turbo, MK1/Trilogy, NFL Blitz, Golden Tee, X-Men 4-player, Deer Hunt. Free play, baby. Calibrate your expectations… because the joysticks definitely aren’t calibrated.
Slightly charred bottom, yeast-forward crust, cheese melted into a perfect golden blanket, jalapeños sprinkled with the kind of confidence only a seasoned pizza vet possesses. Whoever was working back-of-house that Thursday deserves a medal. The pizza did what pizza is supposed to do: slap.
The front-of-house team held it down too. Two cashiers greeting customers with actual warmth instead of that dead-behind-the-eyes “I hate my job and everyone in this building” retail energy we’ve all survived. Hospitality wasn’t forced. Smiles weren’t fake. Management clearly runs a disciplined ship, and everyone—from the register to the oven—pulled their weight.
Overall? I’d take a fresh, steamy slice from Mike’s over Round Table next door any day of the week. Between the nostalgia, the customer service, the arcade lineup held together with duct tape, and the old-school Menlo Park charm, this spot still honors tradition in all the right ways.
There’s nothing more American than inhaling a cheese or pepperoni slice while chugging a Mountain Dew, wondering where your life went wrong and also feeling comforted at the same time.
It is your constitutional right to bear pizza.
And Mountain Mike’s Menlo Park is still out here defending that right with pride.“

“Great food and even better service! The Buck Breakfast had some much flavor and there are options to substitute your eggs and sausage for vegan alternatives. “My favorite place to grab pizza from when I am in RWC. I am specifically a huge fan of their crust. I don't know what they do, I just can't seem to have the same experience with all the other round tables. I just keep coming back here for more. Don't miss out on this place if you haven't tried it. I recommend their King Arthur Supreme, Maui Zaui and pepperoni, the garlic ties and their boneless chicken wings plain with dipping ranch.“
