“Hands down, the best burgers. My go to is the Double- Double animal style (mustard grilled into the meat, grilled onion, extra sauce, extra pickles). You can get it on any of their burgers. To the Snyders (the owners of In-N-Out), PLEASE put stores in Florida!! We deserve this goodness too. 🥰“

“I have been to this coffee shop several times now since new ownership and have tried a different coffee every time and to my surprise it’s always good. I have been drinking coffee religiously for over a decade and have become extremely picky about my coffee. So it’s nice to find a place that has the convenience of a drive thru with great quality coffee.“

On top of it, the service is always so kind, the atmosphere is the perfect pizzeria vibe, and pricing is more than fair. “Took my dad here for Father’s Day and he said it was the best steak he’s had in 10 years. Grain & Vinehouse doesn’t play around—dry-aged ribeye, perfectly seared, with a smoked butter that takes it to the next level. I had the crab ravioli in lemon cream and nearly licked the plate. Great cocktail list, especially the smoked Manhattan. Service was top-tier without being stuffy. They even gave my dad a free dessert with a candle. Five stars, easily.“

“A must visit. True to the roots of the small brewery experience in the San Diego area. Visiting Lightning feels like visiting a bit of brewing history.

There is an indoor and outdoor seating area to enjoy. The beer on tap is great! Really unique brewery styles compared to most breweries. Nice to be able to order a few types of beer I have never seen elsewhere. Of course, they have the tried and true Thunderweizen, also a must have when you visit. It really is the definition of a Souther California take on a Hefeweizen style. Fits perfectly with the great weather.

There is plenty of parking around the building, a few places large enough to bring a sizable group of people after work for a birthday. They also have some snacks that you can grab while you are here.

“When is Rome, have a Guiness at the Irish Pub. If you're lucky, you'll get a clover in your drink. This is a quaint little Pub. They often have live music. The staff are chill and attentive. I haven't had the food there, yet, so I can't opine on their grub. However, drinks are well made. There's a strong local presence, too, which is cool.“

“HUUUGE and delicious carne fries. I’ve been hunting for some decent carne fries in north SD for a while now. Think I’ve found my spot. Costly for the large fries, but also two meals here. Fresh pico, fresh guac, fresh everything - completely unexpected as it was a late night pickup and I assumed I’d be getting the leftover scrapings of whatever they had remaining from today’s service - boy was I wrong. Definitely worth giving them a try!“
