“First time here. I was not really hungry, but did want to try the food. Ordered the beef tacos, and wanted a diet coke..they were out of diet coke, so I settled for bottled water. The server offered me chips, and i said sure. They were rightfully of the fryer so they were crispy and hot.The special dip for chips was good also. I enjoyed my beef tacos. Plenty meat inside. They have red sauce and green sauce. In addition they have a hotter sauce on the counter.
I will need to come back when I am hungry for a carne Asada burrito.“

This is a Hidden Gem+ first time here and already loving it.
Very friendly staff, very very clean, and the atmosphere makes you feel like I'm in a very expensive place.

The food was awesome, the coco shrimp was really good, the mixed fried rice was AWESOME, the beef noodles is good while it's hot. The spicy dumplings... Yeah that was very spicy but good.

Over all, yes I recommend this spot to anyone.“

They cooked their foods right. The chick has golden crispy skin and tasty meat. Their hamburger patty was very large and comes with plenty of fresh lettuce and tomato slices.“

“This place holds a special place in my heart. I grew up in Poway, and back then, this was the cheapest way to fill your stomach. To my surprise, it still is!!

I love the California burrito here, and although it’s different from what one would normally classify as a “California burrito,” it remains one of my favorite renditions of the dish. Back when I was living out of state, even if I only had one night to visit SD, I’d spend my dinner here every single time without fail.“

“Looking for a replacement Chinese Restaurant, since my favorite closed down. Ran out of options in Poway. So decided to give 369 a try. They had a few Chinese options, so tried the Broccoli Beef lunch special. I was pleasantly surprise, very good flavor and large portions. The regular portion would feed two. They also sell Beef Chow Fun. I normally have to get this at a sit down place. Theirs is pretty good. One day I will try the Ramen.“

“Took my dad here for Father’s Day and he said it was the best steak he’s had in 10 years. Grain & Vinehouse doesn’t play around—dry-aged ribeye, perfectly seared, with a smoked butter that takes it to the next level. I had the crab ravioli in lemon cream and nearly licked the plate. Great cocktail list, especially the smoked Manhattan. Service was top-tier without being stuffy. They even gave my dad a free dessert with a candle. Five stars, easily.“

“During lunch break, stopped at Harbor Freights. After finishing my business I was hungry for some chow. Looked around, and although plenty eats here, I decided on Baba Kabob shop. Small shop, great for food to go, or you must dine outside. No indoor dining. I also notice that this is a catering business. I decided on the Baba Kabob special..chicken, Kabob meat, French fries and the vegetable fixins...tomatoes, lettuce, and onions. Had I known the French fries were inside, I would have asked for them on the side, or none at all. Do not like soggy fries...
The portion was huge, although it seemed light on the meat, in my opinion. Still good, and too much food for one person..at less than half, and gave rest to a coworker.
I would pick up food again..I ordered a diet coke bottle, but they forgot to give to me, and when I remembered, I was back at work..bummer city.“

“Excellent service and a wonderful variety of sauces and salsa to choose from which made the experience even more fun and flavorful. I absolutely loved their chicken enchiladas, they were rich, cheesy and perfectly seasoned. The burrito was packed with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. “I enjoyed my first visit to this small, no frills, strip mall Chinese restaurant! Upon being seated I was handed a small, multi-page paper menu containing many familiar dishes. I was intrigued by what they call “Snow Hill Chicken” so I ordered it in a Lunch Special. It was delicious, that I can tell you! Made with tender diced chicken in a dark cashew nut sauce with vinegar, wine and soy sauce plus a dash of white pepper. The menu labeled it as “spicy” but it wasn’t really that spicy. It did have a nice tang with a great flavor and perfect wok hei. I may try this again next time in beef form. The Lunch Special included soup, wonton chips, an egg roll and rice. It’s really a great value and a generous amount of food for only about $11. Very affordable for a nice sit-down meal in California these days. The service was rather surly and matter of fact but that’s usually what I expect from a family run Chinese establishment. I look forward to visiting again soon.“

“I ordered delivery for the lasagna, it was missing the good stuff in between the noodles. I called them & Chris couldn’t have been nicer, they replaced my lasagna as I asked with spaghetti & meatballs & redelivered, no additional charges. Spaghetti was tasty! The eggs were perfectly poached, and the hollandaise had the right amount of tang. The staff was sweet and didn’t rush me at all. Great place to enjoy a quiet breakfast or get some work done.“

“The Not-so-Tots are great. Order them with no liquid cheese, only shredded cheese (unless you like liquid imitation cheese). The chili cheese dogs are pretty good too. The hamburgers, are pretty awful. Every time I have ordered one, the meat has been stale. That kind of almost rancid fat taste. I gave it 4 stars overall, because tater tot nachos? Doesn't get much better than that. Atmosphere is lacking, the tables are crowded together, and they're always busy, so service is so-so.“

“Everything is cooked fresh to order, had the popular steak sandwich. The flavor is excellent and cooked to perfection. It has that nice slow heat with sweetness on the front. They pile on the meat so it was very filling.“

The house Italian dressing might be yummier with not so many spices drenching the salad. The pizza is superb - perfection combo of crust and topping. Lasagne is a huge portion and makes delicious leftovers - mine was served cheesy and saucy, just the way I like.“

“After a walk or after a series design, I get hungry and sometimes have a hankering for Mexican food. This little gem in the strip mall is a consistent great stop. The owner is always smiling.. I do not think I have ever seen him not smile. They have two cooks that are always there. Food is always consistent. Great spot for Carne Asada burrito, or tacos...of course they have much more. Come down and have some chow. Oh yes, the salsa bar is amazing...“

“HUUUGE and delicious carne fries. I’ve been hunting for some decent carne fries in north SD for a while now. Think I’ve found my spot. Costly for the large fries, but also two meals here. Fresh pico, fresh guac, fresh everything - completely unexpected as it was a late night pickup and I assumed I’d be getting the leftover scrapings of whatever they had remaining from today’s service - boy was I wrong. Definitely worth giving them a try!“

“My first time back since I heard it’s under new ownership/management.

I ended up getting the Special BBQ Combo #1 and Seafood Combo #3. The BBQ plate came with chicken, pork and beef with a side of rice and Mac salad. The seafood combo came w fried fish and shrimp. I also got 3 spam musubis.

I have to say, the food blew me away. The portions are generous. The meats were flavorful and has a char without being burnt. The seafood combo was crispy. The spam musubis were proportional! Most places give too much rice to spam but here it’s perfect enough take away from the saltiness.

IPO has plenty of parking and lots of dining spaces to eat inside. I wanted to phone in my order but saw no phone number. When I asked, they said check IG.

They have drinks that I’ll have to try next time.“

“My partner and I stopped in for a change-up in our usual picks. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. The restaurant setting is quaint and familiar feeling. The service was fantastic with both the chef and server being very nice and considerate. The menu is full of different options to try. We ordered the spring rolls and two tofu dishes. All of it was good and freshly cooked. Remember to give the food a minute to cool down before you dive in. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is from not being wowed, but it's not a bad thing. It's a staple food spot with standard food taste and quality. You won't be upset stopping by, but you maybe wouldn't go out of your way ro try it again if you weren't in the area.“
