Root of Happiness Kava Bar offers a fun and relaxing vibe with knowledgeable staff. The kava drinks are a highlight, although some inconsistency in portion size has been noted. The cool atmosphere with island and He-Man videos, along with sound-reactive lights, creates a unique experience. It’s a perfect spot to unwind, meet interesting people, and try something out of the ordinary. The dark, chill atmosphere is definitely unique, with a nice dim lighting that isn’t too overwhelming.
While they don’t serve food, the great service and hipster ambiance make it a go-to spot for chilling out and vibing to music. One time, they even had a Ska band playing, adding to the surprising and fun vibe. The drinks are surprisingly delicious and masked well, even if kava itself can be an acquired taste. The place attracts a mostly young crowd, but everyone feels welcome. Despite a weird location, it remains a very chill place to melt into a chair and enjoy the moment.
