Why is this the first time I'm hearing about Kava?! LOCATION & DECOR: At the end of R street near the historic district past the art. Street parking available all around. If dark tropical was a theme, this is the place. Think tiki Island temple lounge for kicking back and chillin. Good drinks and quick service. I appreciate that the staff knows their different kavas and are able to explain their characteristics to the less experienced kava drinkers. Fun vibe inside too - the island videos mixed with He-Man videos on the walls is a fun juxtaposition, and the sound-reactive colored lights in the corners set a cool mood
