It's located on the corner of Lomita Blvd (x) Pennsylvania Ave--50 yards from the major intersection of Lomita Blvd (x) Crenshaw Blvd. The format is fast casual. You go to the counter to order and pay. If you are dining in, someone on staff will bring your food to the table. The dining room is clean and reasonably comfortable. There are two TVs on the walls. There's plenty of parking. This restaurant features a lot of meal sets you find if you were in Hawaii--spam and eggs, teriyaki, chicken katsu, ect. Primarily, I go for the loco moco. It's a hamburger patty and two eggs (sunny side up), served on top of steamed rice with beef gravy. There's also a side serving of macaroni salad. With a fountain drink and tax, my ticket is under $20.00. We don't have Zippy's in California, and this store spares me a drive to Gardena.“

Could maybe use a touch more cream, but otherwise was very good. I finished the whole thing and was very full. There was the usual suspects, rice cakes, fish cakes, cabbage, and some kind of broad glass noodle? I've never seen that before and I thought maybe some plastic or something might have fallen in by accident but it was clearly meant to be part of the dish. I didn't hate it. The chicken katsu was excellent. Breading was good and proper and the meat was moist and tender.The katsu curry was well plated. Curry sauce was much better than before. Thicker and not as runny. Flavor was good too. The arugula salad was delicious and a good punchy, fresh element to cut the richness of the curry. I like the pickled radish but I also would have liked the regular radish kimchi in addition but they didn't provide it. All in all, totally satisfying and the girl who helped us was nice too. I tried the peach but the taste of peach is just a hint and I dont feel like it goes well with the malted taste. My friend got their ice cream. It is a nice place to stop by on a hot day. Perfect for this weekend as the temps start to rise again. The line isnt long and there's usually 2 ladies working inside. So they usually take 2-3 orders at a time and make the orders before helping the next few customers. First time my friend took me was at night so there was no line. Second time I went with family and more people started to stop by as we were looking at the menu trying to decide what to get. If you look at the small building it looks like it's been here for decades. Definitely would come back here again on a hot day for another ice cream.“
