“🌟 Huge Shout-Out & Thank You to Outback Steakhouse Redding! 🌟 I just have to take a moment to give the biggest THANK YOU to the amazing team at the Redding Outback Steakhouse. We celebrated my birthday there, and it was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had dining out as a family. We have a loved one with a severe, life-threatening dairy allergy one that has previously resulted in medically induced comas so eating out is something we almost never do. But from the moment we arrived, the staff and managers went above and beyond to ensure his safety and comfort. They took every precaution imaginable using fresh gloves, preventing any cross-contamination, bringing his meal out first, and even having the manager personally come to our table to talk through his allergy and confirm every step taken. The care, professionalism, and compassion they showed meant the world to us.“

“I’m giving 4 stars even though more went wrong than went right. I hope this feedback can help this place succeed because it has potential.
Starting off, my partner and I both ordered a Coke, but the server came back to the table, explaining it was too “watery”. We were given Sprite instead.
My partner ordered the shrimp po boy, but was given the catfish po boy.
I ordered the catfish and was asked if I wanted ranch dressing with it. I asked for tartar sauce and was told they don’t have tartar sauce. They served it with a remoulade. As a Southern transplant, I love a good remoulade, but that does not go with catfish 🫤.
The food came out pretty quickly, but I was disappointed there was only one piece of catfish. In the South, you’d get 2 (minimum) or 3-4 pieces of fish.
I didn’t want a meal of mostly fries, so I left hungry (personally, would love to see a side of mac+cheese or a side salad option).
Our meal was over $65 for two people and we only got 1/4 of what we ordered. As we ate, our drinks were never refilled and the server never checked on our table again because he seemed to be the only one working.
Also worth noting - we sat in the back and the restrooms smelled awful!! I am not advocating for the restaurant to mask the smell with a bunch of air fresheners, but they desperately need to pour some bleach or vinegar down the floor drains to eliminate the mildew.
Not a great first impression, but I’d give it another chance because I am always looking for good Southern food in Northern California.“

“Went there to get a to go order, we got there before they opened the owner was so kind he let us in and took our order even though we were 30 min early . Offered us a free sushi plate it was delicious. We took our order home and the tempura veggies were just fantastic, the chicken and beef was amazing. The sushi roll was amazing as well. Definitely recommend this restaurant. And will be going back again.“

“We had all sorts of pizza from them and they were all delicious 😋 the whole extended family and family couldn’t resist. They are 100% better than the dominoes. There wasn’t a piece left out of 6 pizzas. And they also put them in a thermal bag to keep them hot till I got back to wallangarra. Great food 👍🏻👍🏻“

“I visited this place when it first opened, and it was amazing then. However, working in the restaurant business for as long as I did visiting a second time.I contemplated that it might have gone downhill as many restaurants do as time passes. However, today I tried an enchilada lot of late.And I must say as simple as an enchilada plate can be every piece of it was delicious! Most Mexican restaurants don't really bother to put much time and effort in their rice and beans.And they were both were fabulous. Lastly , I want to mention how friendly the staff was , and it was impeccably clean! I'll be back very soon.“

“I've been coming to Thai hut since 2019. They remember my name and my order. This place is amazing, I am vegan and they have at least a dozen or more options for me, with little to no modifications needed. They're always so friendly and professional. They are family run and their hours of operation are normal business hours, they started staying open until 7 recently which is amazing because I'm usually not getting off work until 6 so it's perfect for dinner time on those days when I'm too exhausted and hungry to cook. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves Thai food ❤️ they're the BEST“

“The table seating near the bar is most comfortable and the service was friendly. Family seating in the regular dining area has the view outside. The chef came out to greet us & she was sweet, letting us know how the food was prepared. All lobster dishes are fried yet glistening with sauce. The menu mostly consists of prawns in various ways.“

“Vintage Public House hosted our dinner for 35 guests, and everything was exceptional. Star was our server and did a phenomenal job. She handled our group’s special requests with grace, efficiency, and enthusiasm.

Planning the event was easy, and communication with the Vintage team was consistently responsive and friendly. If you’re looking to host a corporate dinner in the Redding area, I highly recommend this venue.

“Excellent food/service, and very friendly staff. I appreciate their effort for quality. The lighting and atmosphere was comfy and romantic. Me and my wife spent our three year wedding anniversary here and enjoyed every minute.

I even made the mistake of thinking I left my wallet at the table the night before. I came the next day and explained my situation to them.

They looked everywhere and noted my phone number. The owner was even there and also made a personal phone call for me to their cleaning service in case it was lost in their tablecloth linens. They did tell me that they do have a solid set up for missing items and it would have ended up there. I later realized I just misplaced my wallet at home.

“Got the beef burrito, and it was okay. For a smaller place like this I kind of expected it to be extraordinary, as most small places are. It was good but it wasn't extraordinary hence the four stars. That being said the restaurant was clean the service was great and it's a place that I'll definitely go back to.“
