About Pacific Fish Center & Restaurant

The Pacific Fish Center & Restaurant offers a variety of seafood dishes, including small crab, sashimi, fried heads, fried squid, Dungeness crab, raw shrimp, maeuntang (spicy stew), and jiri (grilled fish stew). The crab is considered the best option, and customers have praised the generous portions of dishes like large steamed shrimp and spicy fish stew. The restaurant captures the informal style of seaside Korean spots similar to those in Jeju or Busan, focusing on ingredients and execution rather than fancy plateware. The service is generally good, with kind and quick staff. The atmosphere is relaxed, featuring large windows that offer a view of the beachfront and a leisurely vibe. Many visitors find the place comfortable and enjoyable, especially for the views and fresh seafood. Customers note that while the food looks and tastes great, the experience can vary; some found the overall experience disappointing, citing a lack of side dishes and less attentive service, while others appreciated the quality of the food and the lively atmosphere created by cracking mallets and the presence of a catfish and lobster. The restaurant is a good place to try once, especially for the views and seafood, though some feel the atmosphere might not meet expectations for the price.

The steamed shrimps were of poor quality. Unlike before, the shrimp weren't as fresh and delicious.
The crab and seafood are fresh, but compared to other Korean restaurants, the service is less friendly.

If you want to order crab, it’s better to place your order at least 30 minutes in advance so you can enjoy it sooner. If you order after arriving at the restaurant, the spicy fish stew usually comes out first, and you may have to wait longer for the crab.
Good place.
