“The chocolate cream cheese cake was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had!!! Simply amazing! I enjoyed the different textures and flavors that I got with each bite. I also tried the rose, raspberry, and pistachio cake which was light, refreshing, and delicious (and gluten-free), but with a different texture than the chocolate cake. Both cakes were so unique and delightful, but I especially love chocolate - and this particular chocolate cake was absolutely phenomenal!“

We used to buy our bread fresh weekly before moving to this area more than a year ago and we look forward to being able to do that again. “Ever since Simply Cake opened in the area, they have been our favorite place for Hong Kong style baked goods and the only place we go to for birthday cakes. It's delicious and elegantly packaged. The cakes they made for our grandma's 100th and 101st birthday have gotten a lot of thumbs up from those who had it. It's a tradition for us to to keep coming back for 102nd and onward! The staffs are friendly and we love it that it's the same guy who took the order from us for the 100th and 101st birthday cake order!“

“Randomly visited and bought two pieces for yesterday. I was a bit skeptical about the price／value (a bit pricer than Lady M), but after trying the cakes, my families and I all think it deserves! Cakes are fresh and flavorable, with just right sweetness. We love both the passionfruit and the sesame flavors. The sesame one was especially beyond our expectation. Out of our heart, we recommend this shop and will visit more times in the future.“

“I liked the place was surprised that there’s a PB in this area when I was visiting the next door ice cream shop. It was clean and has nice comfy atmosphere but as any other PB in the bay area the food is not fresh compared to PB in NJ or NYC. I think they bake the pastry once or twice a week for the whole week and for sure this downgrade the whole experience for sure. That’s why I gave the food 3 Stars“

“They have one in Dallas, it's very good and nice. Don't pass it up. Very quality chain of food. You will not see a better size cupcake for its price. The staff are above par for a chain and they don't screw around. I don't know if they have other chains nationwide but I don't see any reason not to pass a place like this up. The red velvet is their biggest seller or the caramel.“

“I ordered 2 slices of cake through Lady M’s official website. When I picked it up, the box was sealed, so I didn’t check it until I got back to San Francisco — only to find out they gave me the wrong flavor. I had ordered the Dubai Chocolate but was given Sesame instead.

I immediately submitted a refund request, but after an entire week, no one followed up. I reached out through online chat, and instead of helping, the representative told me I needed to contact a third-party platform. I had to point out that I placed the order *directly* on their website — only then did they change their story and say I should call customer service.

I called and was then told I needed to email them instead. I emailed right away. It’s now been another week, and still no response.

This has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience. For a brand that positions itself as premium, their customer service is shockingly disorganized and unresponsive. I expected much better, and I would caution others against using their website

After posting my review, Lady M’s team reached out and followed up on the issue. I appreciate that they took the initiative to make things right, and their gesture was thoughtful. While the original experience was disappointing, I’m glad they took the time to respond and resolve it.“
