“Delicious selection of cakes and breads that made it tough going selecting just a few. In the end we settled on the lemon meringue tart, apple crumble slice and a baked cheesecake. All were delicious. We also grabbed a cold sausage roll for heating later on and it was a monster. I have reviewed Almost French Bakery before but it’s missing off Zomato.“

“So I went to 7-eleven in Vallejo the other day and came across a variety of great looking cakes that were individually packaged for about $5 I believe and something told me to try one. I am so glad I did!! I have found my future cake maker. I can’t tell you how delicious Cassandra’s cakes were I still can’t believe just how good they are and I’m so happy I walked into 7-eleven that day lol. I love that they somehow are distributed out here. It was very fresh and I even saved a piece for the next day and it tasted freshly made. 10/10 recommend!!“

“We initially got one cupcake to split since we weren't 100% we'd love it. (Cupcakes can be such a hit or miss) My husband took one bite and said, " Yeah, your gonna need your own cupcake!" LOL. He's not even a dessert person, so that was saying a LOT! Best red velvet I've had in a long time. Super moist and rich flavor. Excited to come back to try more flavors!“

I hope he decides one day to create a cookbook because he is just that amazing! James and the Giant Cupcake made our wedding cake & cupcake tower - not only were they DELICIOUS (and vegan and gluten-free!!!) and got tons of compliments/friends asking us where we got them/where they could get more, but they were also a dream to work with and made them beautiful! “The place is very affordable, which carries great merit, considering that Sheng Kee operates in the Bay Area. The pastries taste great for the price. The service is relatively friendly and quick at checking out your order. The only possible concern would be the lack of preservatives in the pastries, making these pastries to deteriorate in quality fast. It was not visibly dirty either. Overall, a great place to get a quick bite.“

“i’ve actually never been here nor have i personally bought anything, but someone brought a cake from here. chocolate strawberry cake. it seems unassuming but WOW it’s one of the best cakes i’ve ever had. i could have eaten all of it myself. it was perfectly sweet (not actually sweet) and the texture was 10/10.“

“Kara's Cupcakes is my absolute favorite cupcake place. So much so that whenever visitors have come to town, I would usually make it a point to take them here as my own sweet treat.

While you can't really go wrong with any selections from their menu, their Gluten-Free Chocolate Velvet cupcake (with chocolate sprinkles on top) is divine. It's been my favorite since before I really knew much of what gluten-free was all about. Their Sweet S'mores cupcake is also quite a special treat with its graham cracker crust on the bottom, and its marshmallow-y goodness is reminiscent of a much fancier & delectable version of a Hostess Ding Dong.“
