“Truly outstanding meal. The eel wrapped in smoked sea grass was amongst the best bites I have ever eaten, but pretty much every bite on the menu was excellent. The service was also great - no attitude, very friendly, and super knowledgeable. They gave us a great wine suggestion within our price range which was not something I would have found on my own but was perfect for the meal. This is one of those meals that we will think back on fondly for a long time.“

“The food was incredible!!!... unique flavor combinations that worked beautifully. While there was a bit of a delay at the start, the friendly service and outstanding dishes quickly made up for it. Once the food arrived, everything else faded into the background.“

“I grew up eating raw fishes that got fished out in the morning so my standards are maybe high here.

I took the Sashimi Chef's choice and a green tea. The decoration of the room and the plate were very beautiful and peaceful, the sashimi were ok+.

The slices were not perfectly cut so I had to manually separate them, and I got mostly fatty parts, I really prefer lean parts.
Overall, not very amazed by the taste but it wasn't bad.

“Quince is utter perfection. A beautiful restaurant. As a solo diner, I sat at the 4 seat bar. Service was extraordinary, every dish and glass of wine was explained. And the food is tremendous - from the small pre-meal tastings to the small post-meal dessert tastings, everything is delicious and perfectly prepared. The tasting menu included caviar, fish, pasta, lamb and figs. The wine pairings were just right. A wonderful lunch ever.“

“Best food and drinks all weekend long. Marco was just an amazing individual. He made our anniversary even more special. My husband is a huge mezcal fan and asked if there was a drink the bartender could make and sure enough they made the most spectacular drink! We loved the food and drinks so much we stopped in after our long hike from Angel Island. I ordered the same mezcal drink as my husband did the night before. G was just an amazing bartender and helped us out with all the different types of mezcal and what characteristics they bring to the table. Marco even recognized us and said you guys are back. I have been telling everyone about your amazing restaurant and not just the quality of food but just the atmosphere and experience we had with the staff. They are all welcoming and make you feel like family.“
