Fowl + Fare

Ordered the classic chicken sandwich tonight, overall it was good but not a great chicken sandwich. Just overall the entire sandwich lacked flavor for me. The chicken served was red meat, usually for a fried chicken sandwiches I prefer white meat. The batter for the chicken wasn’t a super crispy cruncy batter either and lacked seasoning. Had the Citric Hot Chicken Sandwich today and am still thinking about it 6 hours later. My God it was good. Friendly customer service as well from Dave and the chef, Will. You can tell this guy loves what he does and we're all happier customers for it. Thanks for bringing your business to Alameda, Will. We will be coming back soon. Ate here today and had the classic chicken sandwich. Super tasty! Great food and the chef/owner was very kind and welcoming. Tried a bite of my GF's Citric fried chicken sandwich and definitely will be returning for one of my own.
