Chicken Shops near Riverbank, CA

“Very nice place“

“We ate here with our toddler on the way back from Yosemite. They serve healthy authentic Hong Kong style food that we all loved. Even my little picky 21 month old baby was forking down tofu and fish by herself. The organic passion fruit tea was also very special. They’re flexible with substitutions and we felt very welcomed here. Highly recommend!“

“Amazing! Super surprised to find such an excellent restaurant next to the gas station!! DON’T LET THAT FOOL YOU!!!! My husband and I are Indian food snobs and this place is PHENOMENAL!!! ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! THE PRICE IS UNBEATABLE. I WISH THERE WERE MORE THAN FIVE STARS TO GIVE!!!!!!!“

“had the chicken fettuccine with veggies. super delicious. 😋 comes with a salad and bread. everything was perfect.“

“I'm literally obsessed with this place. I found out about it on Tiktok. I'm from Turlock so anytime I'm in Modesto I make sure to go. I always get their chicken family pack and it comes with beans, rice, macaroni salad, and lots of corn tortillas. I also get their pork ribs with bbq and omg it's the best! They grill their meat outside so when you pull into the parking lot you could see and smell it. I always take it to go, and they're very fast with your orders and friendly customer service. They have nice seating inside too with big flat screen TV's. Honestly guys I'm Mexican and have tried a lot of places but this place is definitely a hidden gem. A little hole in the wall 🩷“

“Hi I had the best experience ever thanks to the manager, a real pleasant manager, I was greeted good. They asked me what I wanted to order and after they took my order they asked me to take a seat and they brought my food to my table. The speed to receive my food was fast amazing service. The restaurant is well mentioned.the employees are polite and real nice. I will definitely be back.“

“My first time at Church's Chicken, WOW! The chicken tenders are fantastic, crunchy batter on the outside covering the most tender chicken! The biscuits were soft and warm with a hint of honey. I had the fried Okra, there was enough for three people, so good! We will definitely be back! p.s...thank you to Juana for helping us with the menu items!“

“I’ve never been to a location with such kind, attentive, amazing staff. Colton was beyond kind. First impression till the end was amazing. The store manager and regional manager should look into him and his staff of how kind they are. When in Modesto will be coming back.“

“Love their Chicken and Mac & Cheese. Our 1rst time at this location, just driving through. Service was exceptional due Belen. Don't know how she managed, inspite of her being so busy, she was always smiling, efficient and unbelievable on her multi-tasking ( taking orders, calls, order pick ups, cleaning...etc).“

“I recently visited this KFC, and I had a really enjoyable experience. The restaurant was clean, the dining area was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. The staff greeted customers with a smile, were polite, and prepared my order quickly.

The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with great seasoning. The fries were hot and crispy, and the drinks were served cold. Everything in my order was correct, and the portions were satisfying.

Even though the restaurant was busy, the service remained fast and organized. It's clear that the staff work hard to keep the place clean and provide good customer service. Overall, this is a great place to grab a tasty meal at a reasonable price. I would definitely visit again and recommend this KFC to friends and family.“

“I got two of their chicken sandwiches, thru the drive-thru. The guy at the window had asked Me if I wanted either Classic or Spicy, I don't ever remember ordering chicken sandwiches from KFC, so I said how about one of both? He said awesome, pull forward. I ended up liking the Classic more than I did the Spicy. Both sandwiches were tasty and of good size, especially with the coupon!“

“Stopped here off the 5 freeway, never been inside a Canes but wanted time out of the car….wow! Staff was super friendly going above and beyond. Food ready nearly immediately, hot and fresh. Very clean. Tables were serviced twice while we ate, even asking if we needed anything. Fun decor, with local memorabilia. A few booths. Plentiful clean modern bathrooms. Staff even seemed to be having a fun time together.“

“food was great customer service was great I liked it and me and my family will be back very very soon“

“Chicken is good and it seems to be fresh all the time which is a huge plus. The staff is very friendly which is weird if we talk about chicken sold at a gas station lol
Keep the prices affordable, add more salsa choices and this will be an all time loved here in Modesto.“

“paquetes familiares las ensaladas“

“Best flavor of fried chicken around! And don't sleep on the taters!“

“This is a really nice KFC/A&W. I was surprised at how clean it was. The cashier was friendly. I also really appreciated the cushioned booths because it's hard for me to sit on hard uncomfortable seating. We got chili cheese fries and they put a lot of toppings on them which is nice because I hate when you order something with toppings and they barely put any on there. Will definitely be coming here again.“

“Sensational food my a phenomenal place. The food here helped delete my extremely irritating erratic behavior. I was fully satisfied with my hunger filled and body recharged to continue this expedious quest of finding chicken of master's“

“went to KFC yesterday and had such a good experience! Jiselle and Valeria they were both super friendly and patient while I decided what to order. The food came out hot and fresh — the chicken was crispy and the biscuits were amazing. It’s nice to see staff who actually seem happy to help. Thanks again to Jiselle and Valeria for making my visit so pleasant!“
